DTE Maharashtra CAP Counselling 2018 has released architecture provisional seat allotment result (Round 3). Candidates can check their seat allotment result by clicking on the link provided below. To check the round 3 allotment result candidates need to enter their registration ID and DOB (Date of Birth). The last date to apply for counselling and verification of documents is 19 June 2018. Candidates who will qualify the MHT CET 2018 entrance exam. The counselling process is held for admission to the First year Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Pharma-D, Architecture, Hotel Management & Catering Technology and direct admission in the Second year of Engineering and Technology and Pharmacy. Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra manages the technical education system in the State of Maharashtra ensuring transparency in the admission process. In order to participate in the DTE Maharashtra CAP Counselling 2018, it is mandatory to fill the Online Option Form for CAP Round-I Counselling. Candidates have to choose their choice of courses and colleges in counselling.

DTE CAP Counselling Online registration of application for admission in Maharashtra State/All India/J & K Migrant candidates & NRI/OCI/PIO/CWIGC/FN candidates will be started from the First week of June 2018. Applications are open for the following full time professional Undergraduate Courses:

DTE Maharashtra CAP Counselling 2018
DTE Maharashtra CAP counselling 2018 has started from 7 June 2018 to 19 June 2018. There are 25 Medical/Dental colleges out of which 21 are Medical colleges and 4 Dental colleges so that applicants can fill up to the maximum of 25 choices, applicants are advised not to wait for the college wise list of surrendered seats.
If any candidates cancel the seats after September 2018 will have to pay Rs. 10 Lakh penalty. Candidates can check their cut off marks of DTE Maharashtra CAP Counselling for Engineering and Technology here.

Stages of DTE Maharashtra CAP Counselling 2018
There will be three rounds of CAP Counselling. The candidate has to be physically present in the counselling rounds. Various stages of Centralised Admission Process (CAP) are given below. Information Brochure will be available on the official website of DTE Maharashtra. The candidates can also collect the hard copy of information Brochure by producing the original Hall Ticket of the CET.
STAGE 1: The eligible candidates have to fill Online Application Form (subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criterion of respective CAP round) for CAP Counselling. For First Year Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, Pharm D., Hotel Management & Catering Technology:
- The candidates have to fill the application form by using the login ID and password provided to them at the time of applying for the Common Entrance Test conducted for that course.

- For admissions to first-year Engineering and Technology, the eligible candidates aspiring for admission on the basis of JEE (Main) Paper 1 (who could not register for MHT-CET 2018) should apply, by paying required fees, through CAP under All India Seats or to be eligible for admission under Institutional Quota seats
STAGE 2: Candidates applying in CAP for B.Arch and First and Direct Second Year Engineering and Technology and Pharmacy are required to purchase the CAP Application Kit from the nearest Facilitation Centre on the cash payment.
- The Facilitation Center will facilitate the candidate in complete CAP Application Process ranging from filling the Online Application Form, scanning the documents to uploading the required documents without any charges.
STAGE 3: Confirmation of Online Application Form and Document Verification at Facilitation Centre by the Candidate in person. The Facilitation Centre In-charge shall confirm candidate’s Application Form through the online system and issue the Receipt cum Acknowledgement of Application Form. The candidate will not be able to make any changes in the application form after it has been confirmed in the centre.
STAGE 4: Display of Provisional Merit List of candidates who have confirmed the online Application Form. Candidates can submit the grievances (if any) in written along with required document at Facilitation Centre. After which the final merit list of the candidates will be published on the official website of DTE Maharashtra.
STAGE 5: Display of Category wise Seat Matrix for DTE Maharashtra CAP Counselling Round 1. Before CAP Round 1, the candidates have to log in and fill up Online Option Form giving preferences of Courses and Institutions. This Option Form will be considered for allotment in CAP Round I, II, and III.
STAGE 6: Candidates can give a minimum one and a maximum 300 choices of Institutes and Courses in decreasing order of their preference. Candidates have to confirm the submitted online Option Form by re-entering his/her Application ID and Password. The candidate can also take a printout of the confirmed Option form for his/ her record and future reference
STAGE 7: The candidate will not be able to change the option after he/she has confirmed the option entry page. Display of Provisional Allotment of CAP Round I indicating allotted Institute and Course. Reporting and accepting the offered seat as per the allotment of the CAP Round I by the Candidate at Admission Reporting Centre.
STAGE 8: Display of Category wise Seats (Seat Matrix) for CAP Rounds II. Display of Provisional Allotment of CAP Round-II indicating allotted Institute and Course. Reporting and accepting the offered seat as per the allotment of the CAP Round II. Category wise Seats (Seat Matrix) for CAP Rounds III.
STAGE 9: Display of Provisional Allotment of CAP Round III indicating allotted Institute and Course. Reporting and accepting the offered seat as per the allotment of the CAP Round III, by the Candidate at Admission Reporting Centre.
DTE Maharashtra CAP Counselling 2018 Application Process
To Participate in Centralised Admission Process (CAP), the eligible candidates have to fill Online Registration/ Application. Online application form, scanning, and verification for documents service are available free of cost at Facilitation Centre (FC).
- The Facilitation Center will facilitate the candidate in complete CAP Application Process ranging from filling the Online Application Form, scanning the documents to uploading the required documents without any charges.
- However, after filling the application form candidate will have to personally visit the Facilitation Centre for Confirmation of Online Application Form and Document Verification.
- Candidate can edit/update the information in his application form before he confirms it at any of the Facilitation Centre.
Submission of Application Form
The candidates are advised to fill the application in a proper format and to check the details because once the application form gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to do any changes.
The CAP Application form has to be submitted online Only. However, NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, Foreign National should send the print of online filled application form & required documents by hand/speed post/courier for verification & confirmation to:

Documents to be uploaded while filling the DTE Maharashtra CAP Application Form
- Class 10 and 12/ Diploma Mark sheets.
- NATA/ JEE 2018 (Paper 2) Mark Sheet.
- School leaving certificate after passing Class 12.
- Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate.
- Candidates belonging to Reserved category will have to produce validity certificate.
Choices to be made for made while CAP Counselling
- Freeze: The candidate has to select ‘freeze’ if he/she has accepted the offered seat and don’t wish to appear in any further rounds of seat allocation. Such Candidates will not be considered in subsequent rounds of admission.
- Slide: The candidate has to select ‘Slide’ if he/she accepts the offered seat but if admission to the academic program of higher preference is offered within the same Institution, they will accept it. Such Candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission.
- Float: The candidates have to select ‘Float’ if he/she accept the offered seat and indicate that, if admission to an academic program of higher preference in any Institution is offered, they will accept it. Else, they will continue with the currently accepted academic program. Such Candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission.
DTE Maharashtra CAP Counselling Application Fee
The candidates who are going to appear in MHTCET 2018 are not required to pay any fee for CAP Counselling registration. However, the candidates who have obtained JEE Main score and haven't registered for MHTCET are required to pay the required fee.

The candidates need to pay the application fee by any of the methods given below. The candidates need to pay the application fee only once.
- Registration Fee: Only by Net Banking/Credit or Debit Card.
- Seat Acceptance fees: Seat Acceptance is to be paid by Demand Draft in favor of 'Commissioner, State CET Cell, Maharashtra State, Mumbai' payable at ‘Mumbai’.

DTE Maharashtra CAP Counselling Cut Off Lists
The cutoff lists of DTE Maharashtra for Engineering and Technology, MBBS/ BDS final selection lists for the previous year are given below separately. The candidates are required to see the list below which is given for Round 1 and Final Round.
There will be Four rounds of CAP Counselling. If a candidate fails to report for the acceptance of allotted seat at Admission Reporting Center in scheduled time. It will be treated as if he has rejected the allotted seat and such candidate shall not be eligible for CAP Round II and/ or III.CAP Counselling Round 4 will be conducted for such candidates.

Centralised Admission Process - CAP Round 4
The process of Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 4 will start from July 2018 CAP Round 4 will be conducted for all candidates who have;
- Not been allotted any seat in Rounds I/II/III.
- Not participated by the way of not filling the Option form in CAP Round I.
- Those who have taken and cancelled their admission in the earlier rounds.
- Those who have frozen the admission in earlier rounds but now are desirous of changing the option to Floating or Sliding.
Final Merit list for the candidates belongs to Jammu & Kashmir will be released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra.
Allotment of Seats in DTE Maharashtra CAP Counselling 2018
All India Candidature Candidates- The allotment of seats under this category will be done through CAP on the basis of score of:
- First Year Engineering – MHT-CET 2018 score and then if the seats
- First Year Engineering – MHT-CET 2018 score and then if the seats remain vacant, on the basis of JEE (Main) 2018 -Paper 1.
- First Year Pharmacy and Pharm.D – MHT-CET 2018 Score; (c) First Year Architecture – Score obtained by giving 50% weightage to HSC marks and 50% weightage to valid score for 2018 of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
- First Year Hotel Management and Catering Technology – MAHB.HMCT-CET 2018 Score. All these seats are treated as “General Category” seats, and no reservation is provided in these seats for Candidates of Backward Class Category, Ladies, Persons with Disability and Defence, etc.
