TBJEE Result 2018 - Declared!

TBJEE Result 2018 has been declared by Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination. The candidates who appeared in the exam conducted on 25 and 26 April 2018 can now check the result of TBJEE by following the link given on this page. The exam was conducted on ten centres/ venue of Dharmanagar, Kailasahar, Udaipur, and Agartala. In order to check the TBJEE Result, the candidates have to provide their Enrolment number and DOB. TBJEE Result 2018 has been declared on 23 May 2018 by Tripura Board. The result can be obtained by the candidates by following the link given on this page. All the candidates who appeared in the TBJEE Exam can check their result by providing Enrolment number and Date of Birth. After the declaration of the result, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam. There is no provision for the review of the result. Hence, no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

In case of a tie in TBJEE Result 2018

During the declaration of the result, the chances of occurring tie can also happen. In such case, the successive steps are followed. The settlement of the tie in TBJEE will be done as per the factors mentioned below.

For PCM and PCB Group

• The marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology (depending upon the group) will be considered in altogether.
• If there is a tie in the first step also then, the marks of Physics and Mathematics (for PCM group) and Chemistry and Biology (for PCB group) will be considered.
• In case, the candidates are obtaining similar marks in the second step also then the candidates with higher marks in Mathematics (for PCM group) and Biology (for PCB group) will be considered to resolve the tie
• If the tie does not resolve till this process then the DOB will be deciding factor for resolving the tie. In the case of DOB, the senior candidate will be given the preference in the Merit List as per norms.

TBJEE Merit List 2018

Along with the result, the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination will also release the merit list in which the name of the candidates who qualify the examination. The Merit list gets prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology as per his/ her option. TBJEE Counselling 2018 After Result

After the declaration of the Results, there is a process of counselling of seats. The TBJEE counselling is scheduled to be held from June to July 2018. Various sponsoring departments reserve the seats of a different professional degree course. These seats are usually reserved by the Govt. of India and the other central agencies for the state of Tripura. State Institutions provide rest of the other seats.

Through the process of counselling, the seats will be distributed amongst the eligible candidates. After getting selected in the process of counselling, the candidates will be nominated for admission to different degree courses by respective sponsoring department.

Important Points for TBJEE Counselling 2018

The important points are given below which should be kept in mind for general counselling process:

• Candidates should note that after their selection for any particular course to a particular college/University will be subject to the fulfilment of criteria, including the cut-off marks in TBJEE of the respective College/ University.
• There are certain College and University that demands a specific percentage of marks in last qualifying Examination (H.S or equivalent) along with some other conditions including cut-off marks, if any, for admissions/entry to different streams/subject of respective Colleges or University.
• Then selection will be made accordingly on the basis of eligibility criteria and cut-off marks obtained in TBJEE as specified by the respective departments of State and Central Governments/Institution/Council/Body.
• The performance of the Candidates in the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination will help them to receive nomination letters for various courses of study.
• If a Candidate is allotted a seat on the basis of the result of TBJEE, he/she will not be granted for allotment of seats unless he/she has surrendered the allotted seat in writing within seven working days to the authority of the respective sponsoring department at the time of counselling.
