HPCET Application Form 2018 - Registration Started!

HPCET Application Form 2018 is now available to fill. The candidates seeking admission to Himachal Pradesh Technical University to pursue Engineering, Pharmacy, Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Applications are required to fill the application form. The last date to fill the form is 28 April 2018. Hence, the candidates are suggested to fill the form before the deadline. HPCET 2018 will be conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) to admit students in private and unaided government colleges in Himachal Pradesh. For the first 50% of the B.Tech seats in HPTU, admission will be done on the basis of JEE Main 2018 Score. The remaining 50% seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of HPCET 2018. HPCET Application Process has started from 8 March 2018. The candidates seeking admission to pursue Engineering, Pharmacy, Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Applications in HPT University are required to fill the application form by following the link given below. The candidates at times while filling up the application form find difficulty in certain sections and end up making mistakes. Thus, to overcome such problem, the candidates are provided with instructions to fill the form. The steps to fill the form is given below. The candidates are suggested to follow the steps.

Steps to fill the HPCET Application Form 2018

The candidates are advised to follow the steps and the instructions given below to fill the application form which will help the candidates to ignore the mistakes while filling the application form. 

STEP 1: (Registration) - Candidate has to Register on the official website of HPCET, once Registered online system will generate the unique Application Form Number, Username & Password. Candidates are advised to note down the Form Number, User Name, Password & Date of Birth for future reference.

STEP 2: (Login to fill Application Form) - Candidate need to fill in the basic details such as his/her Name, age, course applied, category and examination centre preference. 

STEP 3: (Upload Photograph and Signature) - Upload his/her recent coloured photograph and  digital signatures with these specifications:

• Photograph: 50 KB; JPEG/.JPG
• Signature: 30 KB; JPEG/.JPG

STEP 4: (Make Fee payment) - All the candidates are required to pay HPCET 2018 application fee through online e-Challan mode or net banking and attach the acknowledgement slip along with the form for e-Challan payment

• For those making the Fee Payment via Offline Mode through PNB Challan, they have to re-login to their account, at least after 24 hours to make the entry of transaction number in “ Payment details Form”.

STEP 5: (Confirmation) - When the HPCET application form is completely filled and application fee is paid, the candidate has to click on 'Final Submit' button to get a confirmation page. The candidate has to take a printout of the Application form.

In order to complete the application process, the candidates have to pay the application fee. The application fee of HPCET can be paid by any of the following modes given below. The application fee should be paid only once by the candidates. 

• Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card

• Online e-Challan: In the case of e-challan, the payment should be made in the Punjab National Bank in cash.

Submission of HPCET Application Form

After filling up the application form, the candidates are suggested to send the scanned copy of application form (PDF) at email id - himtuadmission@gmail.com. However, the candidates can also submit the copy of the application form within a week of its generation to the following address -

• Candidate must not make any changes with the pen/pencil on the printed Application Form otherwise, the Application Form will be rejected.
• Candidates are advised to retain the printed copy of Application Form for future reference. 

Status and Editing of HPCET Application Form

In case the candidate intends to edit Application form on getting the confirmation page, he/she can click on the “Edit” button. The data filled by the candidate will appear in the editable form.  After making the necessary changes candidate has to click on "Update Details” button to save the changes. Candidate must check all the filled particulars before clicking on the 'Final Submit' button. 

Important points related to HPCET Application Form

• The candidates are advised to retain a hard copy of the Application Form for future reference/ correspondence.
• The HPCET application form duly completed should be checked by the candidate carefully.
• All the candidates must make sure that their name, age, date of birth, subjects were taken, examination centre, are properly filled.
• Any candidate submitting an incomplete application form will not be acceptable by the examination conducting board/body.
• At the same time, no intimation would be given by the board regarding the non-acceptance or cancellation. 

• No application will be accepted if it fails to reach the date specified for application form filling.
• Candidate will have to provide the address and phone number clearly in the application.
• No candidates are allowed to give the address of coaching centre/ institution, doing this is strictly prohibited and may amount to the cancellation of the application.
• All candidates must give a valid mobile number and email address for registration. Failing to comply with the following instruction will terminate the application.
