VCI Counselling 2019 for 15% All India Veterinary Seats - Round 1 Result
VCI Counselling 2019 result for round 1 seat allotment to be announced soon. To check the VCI 2019 counselling result for round 1, candidates are required to enter Roll Number to check the VCI Counselling Result. VCI Counselling was conducted successfully for admission to B.VSc and A.H. courses for the admission to 15% All India Quota seats (except Jammu and Kashmir aspirants). VCI counselling result 2019 to be announced on the basis of NEET rank and preferences of colleges, seats available and reservation policy. A total of 525 seats will be reserved for 15% All India Quota seats through VCI counselling. VCI Counselling result for Round 1 to be announced soon. Aspirants need to register themselves for VCI 2019 counselling. During the registration process, aspirants also need to submit their preferences of colleges as well as courses. On the basis of these preferences, VCI seat allotment result to be released. Candidates who appeared in the counselling can check their provisional allotment result by Round Number and Roll number. Unreserved + OBC category candidates shall be considered together as per their category rank only.

AIPVT VCI Counselling 2019 Based on NEET Score
VCI Counselling for All India Seat: Counselling for admission to BVSc and AH Course for 15% All India Quota Seats will be carried out by Veterinary Council of India. The counselling will be conducted through online mode and the registration was conducted in the last week of July.
VCI Counselling for State Quota seats: Counselling for admission to BVSc and AH course in the participating states for state quota seats will be carried out by the respective state. The counselling of the eligible candidates will be done in the participating veterinary college through the merit list of NEET 2019.

Documents to be carried for VCI Counselling
Counselling will be held as per the Category Rank (UR/SC/ST/URPH/SCPH/STPH) only. Candidates have to carry the below-mentioned documents in original along with an attested copy of the documents for verification. If in case the candidate does not carry these documents it might lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
- Downloaded NEET Admit card
- Downloaded NEET Rank letter
- Class 10 Certificate or Date of Birth Certificate
- Class 12 Mark sheet/ Certificate
- Provisional Certificate of Qualifying Examination will be accepted only if the candidate has passed in the year 2019 only.
- Character Certificate
- Four latest passport size coloured Photographs
- One Postcard size coloured Photograph (same as uploaded at the time of filling Online Application Form).
- Proof of identity (Voter ID Card/Aadhar Card/ID Card of College or School)
- Proof of Admission in the College (Fee receipt by those who have been allotted seats during 1st/ 2nd round of counselling during spot counselling)
VCI Counselling 2019 - Register Online
The notification regarding the VCI Counselling has been released on 16 July 2019 and the VCI registration for the counselling started on 17 July 2019. VCI Counselling 2019 will be conducted by Veterinary Council of India (VCI) for 15% of All India Seats in Veterinary colleges.
The candidates will be called for the counselling based on their NEET score. The candidates would be needed to join the colleges allotted by the VCI immediately after the process gets over. The first round of the counselling will be conducted for candidates placed on the Merit list and Waitlist including reserved category. No individual call letters will be sent to the candidates to attend the counselling.
Steps for VCI Counselling (Based on NEET Score)
- Step 1: Exercising of Choice Filling and Locking – The choice for Veterinary colleges can be selected and locked by candidates by clicking on the save button. While exercising choices for colleges, a candidate can interchange their opted choices number of times. But once the choice is locked and saved by candidates they cannot be either changed or unlocked. Once the choice is locked by candidates, the list of selected Veterinary colleges as per choice will appear on the screen for printing.
- Step 2: Seat Allotment – The seats will be allotted to candidates according to their rank and in order of choice opted for Veterinary colleges.
- Step 3: Publication of Allotment Result–The candidate can check his/her result on the Council’s website by clicking link Result. The result will have the detail of allotted college to candidates as per their merit of choice and rank.
- Step 4: Reporting to Allotted Veterinary College – Candidates have to report to allotted Veterinary colleges within the given dates to complete admission formalities.
VCI Counselling for Students from Jammu and Kashmir
The candidates who have uploaded Self Declaration claiming their eligibility under 15% All India Quota shall have to submit an affidavit as per Appendix-IV on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.10 duly attested by Metropolitan Magistrate/ First Class Judicial Magistrate.
VCI Counselling Admission Fee
- VCI Counselling fee - Fee for online registration is Rs.1000 for General/OBC candidates and Rs.500 for SC/ST/PH candidates. Fee for OCI/PIO candidate is Rs. 1000
- Admission Fee - Candidates who will be confirmed the admission will be required to deposit part Non-Refundable admission fee via Demand Draft/ Pay Order drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Veterinary Council of India” payable at New Delhi with the VCI.
- In case admission is taken by the candidate in the college allotted by the Counseling Committee, the same shall be adjusted in the admission fee.
VCI Counselling 2019 - Important Points
- If in case the candidate fails to appear in person on the specified date and time for whatsoever reason shall forfeit the claim for a seat under 15% All India quota.
- Seats will be allotted by seniority in merit and subject to availability of seats in a particular Veterinary College at the time and date of allotment.
- The Allotment shall be closed immediately after the seats reserved for the purpose are filled.
- Allocation letter will be given to the selected candidates on the day of Counselling
- There is no provision for re-counselling
- Request for change of seats once allocated to a candidate will not be entertained
