IMU CET Counselling 2018

IMU CET Counselling 2018 will be conducted online from 7 June 2018. The candidates whose name will appear in the IMU CET Rank list based on their performance in the IMU CET will be eligible to participate in the IMUCET 2018 Counselling for final admission. The candidate need not have to be physically present for the IMU CET 2018 Counselling. Online counselling will be done for allotment of seats in IMU campuses only. IMU CET Online Counselling 2018 will be done for allotment of seats in IMU campuses only. Therefore, the candidates who will clear IMU CET 2018 and will be desirous of taking admission in Affiliated Colleges must directly approach them.

IMU CET Counselling 2018 -  Step by Step Process

The IMU CET Counselling instructions are given below. The steps given below will help the candidates to follow the counselling steps clearly so that the candidates will not find it difficult. The candidates need to know that the counselling process has not been started yet so that the information given below is on the basis of last year.

STEP 1- Payment of the Counselling Fee: Candidates will have to pay the Non-Refundable Counselling Fee of Rs.10,000 to IMU before filling in the choice of the programmes/ Colleges online. Choice of programmes can be modified only twice after the first entry. The marks and Physical Fitness/EyeSight status can be altered only once after the first entry.

STEP 2- Choose Program and Institute: Candidates will have to choose online, the Programme (mentioned below) and also IMU Campuses/Affiliated Institutes that they would like to join.

STEP 3- Seat Allotment: Candidates will be allotted seats to a Programme/College on the basis of the following four things:

• IMU CET Rank
• Category
• Choices of Programmes and Colleges
• Availability of seats.

STEP 4- First List: The First List of allotments will be published only after the last date for Online Counselling is over. The Allotment Letter issued will be strictly provisional and subject to verification of the candidate's original documents and his medical fitness.

STEP 5- Payment of the Programme Fee: After the verification of the Original documents and medical fitness is established, the candidate will be required to pay the non-refundable Fee of Rs.25,000 for accepting seat online to IMU. 

STEP 6- Second and Third List: In case the seats remain vacant, then the Second List and Third List will be issued. In the Second List, some of the candidates may get upgraded i.e. they may get a Programme or College or both as per their order of preference which they could not get in the First List.

Downloading Allotment Letter and Payment of IMU Programme Fee 

The candidates who will be shortlisted as per the second list of selected candidates. Such candidates will have to download the allotment letter and make the payment of programme fee. The candidates should know that only selected and upgraded candidates according to the second list will be able to download allotment letter and to pay the programme fee.

Second Round of IMU Counselling

Second List of Selected Candidates in IMU 

The Indian Maritime University will release the second list of shortlisted candidates for the admission in the IMU UG courses (except for BBA). The list of the candidates selected for UG programme will be given below. 

The list will have the name of the candidates indicated in BLACK are those who could not get any preferred option in the First List of Admissions whereas the name of the candidates in BLUE are those who have now got "upgraded".
