JEE Main Paper 2 Result January - NTA has announced JEE Main Paper 2 2019 result on 31 January. To check NTA JEE Main Paper 2 result 2019, students are required to enter their roll number and date of birth. JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 result is available online, and candidates can download the same from the link provided below. Candidate's score is mentioned in the JEE Main result for Paper 2. The JEE Main Paper 2 result is calculated on the basis of the candidate's performance in Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing Test.
Apart from scoring good marks in JEE Main Paper 2 the candidate also has to qualify the JoSAA counselling cut off for admission in NITs, CFTIs and SFIs. The cut off marks have been given below.

It is to be noticed by the candidates that if in case, the candidate has cleared JEE Main Paper 2, but he/she has not cleared JEE Main Paper 1, still he/she is not eligible to appear in the Architecture Aptitude Test which is being conducted in order to give admission in the two IIT’s that offers Architecture Course.

JEE Main Paper 2 Result based on Answer Key
NTA has released the JEE Main Paper 2 Answer Key. The students can tally their marks with the help of answer key. The students also got the facility to challenge the answer keys if they have any objection regarding the released answer keys. The (JEE Main Paper 2 Answer Key) is available. The JEE Main Paper 2 Answer key was released online after the exam was conducted. The answer key is not released for JEE Main Paper 2 Drawing Exam.

JEE Main Paper 2 Rank has been declared after the JEE Main Paper 2 April Attempt. JEE Main paper 2 consists of three sections– Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing test. The rank list of JEE Main is prepared on the basis of percentile scores obtained in Joint Entrance Examination (Main). 4 percentalies have been calculated for each session
- Total Percentile based on total raw marks
- Mathematics Percentile based on Mathematics raw marks
- Aptitude Percentile based on Aptitude raw marks
- Drawing Sheet Percentile based on Drawing Sheet raw marks
If the marks of two or more candidates are equal, then, NTA followed the tie-breaking procedure using the procedure mentioned below.

Colleges accepting JEE Main Paper 2 Score
Seat allotment in Case of JEE Main Paper 2
JEE Main Paper 2 Result is declared the students can check JEE Main Score. JEE Main Paper 2 Result is valid only for the NITs and Architecture Colleges that would be accepting JEE Main Paper 2 Score. Not all NITs offer B.Arch Course. The paper 2 score is not valid for, admission in IITs B.Arch course.
For admission in IITs, the candidate first has to clear JEE Main Paper 1, >> Then JEE Advanced and then >> Architecture Aptitude Test
Seat Allotment for B.Arch would be done on through Josaa counselling. In NITs the around 50% seats are reserved for state domicile students, and rest are all India seats. If the candidate belongs to the state in which the NIT doesn't offer B.Arch course, then they are at a disadvantage as they will not be able to get the benefit of State Domicile Quota and will only be eligible for All India Quota Seats. Check the NITs that offer B.Arch Course. If students do not score a good score to get a college through JEE Paper 2 Score, then they should try NATA. There are many good colleges under NATA. Eligibility for Josaa Counselling for B.Arch/ B.Plan Admission
The B.Arch and B.Planning admission in NITs and other institutes offering admission based on Josaa counselling will be based on two things. The first is the JEE Main Paper 2 Result and second is the marks obtained in the Qualifying Exam. Last year there were 848 seats for admission based on JEE Main Paper 2 Result + JosAA Counselling.
JoSAA Eligibility Clause
The candidate should secure at least 75% (65% for SC, ST) marks in the Class 12 examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 exam conducted by the respective Boards. If the candidate has passed class 12 in 2018, then the Top 20 Percentile of 2018 will be considered, and if the candidates passed class 12 in 2019, then the Top 20 Percentile of 2019 will be considered. This is the clause for participation in JoSAA counselling.
For calculation of percentile of qualifying examination marks, for paper 2 (B. Arch./B. Planning) of JEE (Main), the marks obtained in the following subjects will be considered. This will be best of five subjects including Mathematics.

If any subject out of 5 is not of 100 marks, then it will be scaled up or down as the case may be so that total marks for five subjects equals 500. The candidates who reappeared in board exams, for them the best of two years score would be included.
JEE Main Paper 2 Result for NIT, CFTIs Admission
There are 9 NITs that offer B.Arch course and candidates have to qualify the JosAA Admission clause to get admission in NITs. There are 6 CFTIs that take admission based on JEE Main Pape 2 Score and Josaa Counselling. Apart from this, there are other institutes that accept JEE Main Paper 2 Result score, and you can find the list here - JEE Main Paper 2 Colleges. There is no counselling fee, and these colleges do not conduct any exam for admission. No separate application has to be filled; the seat allotment would be based on JoSAA counselling.
