MMMUT Counselling 2019 - Counselling Schedule/ Seat Allotment

MMMUT Counselling 2019 registration has started on 7 June 2019 for admission to B.Tech/ BBA/ M.Tech/ MCA/ MBA/ M.Sc courses. MMMUT has released the Counselling schedule for all the courses. MET counselling 2019 is held on the basis of rank secured by aspirants, preferences of courses and seats available under each category. The seats for each course and under all categories are available on the website. The registration process for all courses started. MMMUT counselling result will be announced online for all the courses. On the basis of scores obtained, the rank list is prepared by the authority. 

MMM University of Technology has released the complete counselling schedule. MMMUT B.Tech Counselling through JEE Main (for UP domicile only) has also started. The counselling will be held for the B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MCA/ MBA/ M.Sc, BBA, MBA , MCA courses.   MMMUT 2019 counselling is the basis for admission to various courses offered by the university. Following are the dates to keep in mind related to MMMUT Counselling 2019

MMMUT Counselling 2019 through Malviya Entrance Test (MET) - Registration Started

MMMUT Counselling 2019 through Malviya Entrance Test (MET) is conducted for admission to BTech - I (90% seats)/ BTech II (Lateral)/ MCA - I/ MBA - I & MTech -I/ MSc - I (Physics), MBA, BBA, MCA. The registration process has started. Candidates can register themselves from the link given below. Candidates need to enter their MET roll number, Email Address, Mobile Number and Course to register themselves. However, the admission to first year BTech Programmes against only 10% of total intake is done through JEE Mains. The MET Counselling fee is Rs. 2000.

Candidates applying under JEE Main Category have to upload the scanned copy of the JEE Main Rank card while filling up the application form and scanned copy of signature.

MMMUT Counselling 2019  Process

During the counselling at the University candidate’s original documents would be verified. The candidates allotted seats will have to pay the confirmation fee and complete the steps given below. MMMUT Counselling Process is described below. The purpose of verification of documents would be to check all relevant and essential certificates and documents of the qualifying examination, eligibility, category/ reservation certificate and weightage etc. of the candidate as applicable.

• STEP 1: Online Registration: The candidates have to register for the MET Counselling on 7 June 2019. The registration for counselling will be held in online mode.
• STEP 2: Online Choice Filling: After registration, the candidates have to fill up the choice of course and branch. Candidates must note that the choice filling process in a one-time process, candidates must double sure the order of preferences they fill for the Courses. No change in the order of preference will be entertained further in the subsequent rounds of counselling.
• STEP 3: Online Fee Deposition for Seat Confirmation:  After the MMMUT Seat Allotment result is announced the candidates have to pay the complete admission fee for the current academic year online. Only those candidates who have successfully completed all steps of MMMUT Counselling will be eligible and have to visit the MMMUT campus for the verification of the original documents.
• STEP 4: Documents Verification at MMMUT Campus: The candidate's documents/testimonials/certificates will be verified by the officer. The list of documents is described below. No candidate will be considered for admission if they fail to show the original documents at the time of verification. The original certificates and documents will be returned to candidates after verification. The candidate has to carry one set of self-attested documents along with the original documents to confirm seat allotment and submission of consent for further seat upgradation. Students must carry seat allotment letter.

The reporting time of the candidates is 10 A.M. and the fee deposition and document verification will take place between 10:00 AM and 05:00 PM. The candidates are required to be prepared for the counselling process and bring all of their original documents/certificates and a set of their photocopy. 

The counselling process shall be completed by the bonafide candidates themselves; therefore, the physical appearance of the candidate is mandatory. Counselling letters of eligible candidates will be made available on the University website at least one week before the commencement of the counselling. The candidates can also report for counselling on the basis of notification schedule along with their result, rank and desired documents as prescribed in the notification.

Documents required at the time of MMMUT Counselling

Candidates are required to bring the following documents/certificates in original and a set consisting of attested photocopies of the certificates for verification and submission at the time of reporting/document verification:

• Admission Test 2019 Mark sheet
• Admit Card

• Mark sheet of the qualifying exam.

• High School Certificate

• Character Certificate

• Certificate of Medical Fitness/Undertaking of Medical Fitness

• Domicile certificate, if applicable

• Category certificate such as OBC/SC/ST, if applicable

• Sub Category certificate (Freedom fighters/Armed Forces /physically handicapped) whichever is applicable).

• Income certificate(applicable for economically weaker only)

• GDDA category certificate, if applicable

• Rural weightage certificate, if applicable

• EWS Certificate - Candidate must submit certificate no. 12 (income certificate) at the time of document verification during the counseling

MMMUT Cancellation of Admission

Cancellation Application sent by Post - The candidate may submit an application for the cancellation of his/her admission and part of University fee refund request in the office of Admission Cell only (either in person or speed/registered post) where the date and time of receipt of application will be recorded for the fee refund. The candidate must attach the copies of the Admission offer letter, confirmation fee deposit receipt, and self-signature copy of his/her photo ID. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay.

Cancellation Application Sent by Email - The candidate may send an application for the cancellation of admission and part of University fee refund through the candidate’s registered e-mail as filled in application form of MET 2019 to Email ID: met@mmmut.ac.in along with the scanned copies of Admission offer letter, the complete University fee (i.e., Confirmation Fee) deposit receipt, and self-signature copy of his/her photo ID. The date and time of received e-mail will be recorded for deciding the amount of fee refund to the candidate. Email received after 5.00 pm will be treated as the next day. University will not be responsible for bouncing back of email/not receipt of the email.

MMMUT Fee Refund Policy

• Candidates are required to pay a Non-Refundable Counselling fee of Rs. 2000 in all cases. As it is a Non-Refundable amount, therefore, no request claiming the same will be entertained.
• Candidates are also required to pay full one year fee once the seat has been allotted. 

MMMUT Counselling: On Spot Seat Allotment

The candidates need not pay the counselling fee again for the subsequent rounds of counselling. It is a choice of the candidates to appear in the subsequent rounds of the counselling. On spot, seat allotment will be made for admission to all courses and categories for the academic session 2019-20 once the document verification process is over. The spot round of the counselling will start from the last week of July 2019 after the list, if vacant seats are displayed. The eligible candidates will be called as per their merit of Admission Test 2019 and they can opt for the available seat of their choice in a particular course as per the directions and procedure of counselling notified on University website. 

• Firstly, The vacant seats in each horizontal categories available, if, any, will be merged in the respective vertical colleges such as GNOP, BCOP and SCOP categories.
• Next, the seats in BCOP and SCOP categories will be merged in GNOP and allotment will be based on the merit GN and GN1 Ranks.

Admission to Kashmiri Migrants, NRI

Direct admission to Kashmiri Migrants in first year may be made as per latest instructions of AICTE/UGC/UP Govt. on the number of seats as notified, for which the notification for inviting applications for admission may be published on University website. The candidates, opting for admission under this quota, need not to appear in MET.

Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates, who possess prescribed qualifications (refer section 11.4), may get direct admission in 1st year B.Tech. on 5% seats of total intake in respective B.Tech. course on merit, subject to the latest instructions of the University and UP government. The candidates need not appear in MET
