ICAR Result 2019 Declared - 24th ICAR UG, SRF Result

ICAR Result 2019 has been announced on 17 July 2019 for UG, PG and PhD Exam. The students can check their ICAR Result and download ICAR Score Card. Along with the ICAR Result 2019, counselling schedule has also been released. The ICAR Counselling will begin in August 2019. 

Result for ICAR Exam for UG, PG and SRF has been announced by NTA. Only aspirants who have appeared in the ICAR exam can download ICAR AIEEA result 2019. To check the result of ICAR 2019, candidates need to enter the registration number and password. ICAR result is available in terms of overall and category rank obtained by the aspirants qualified for counselling. Candidates need to obtain the ICAR cut-off set by the authority. General category students must secure at least 50% qualifying cut off in ICAR UG. The responses marked will be matched with the solutions mentioned in the ICAR answer key.

There is no provision of re-evaluation/re-checking of ICAR AIEEA result 2019. However, in the year 2019, the official ICAR answer key has been released. Students can match their marked responses with the solutions provided in ICAR official answer key 2019.

ICAR Merit List 2019 - Download PDF

The category-wise merit list of ICAR 2019 is prepared by the authority based on the score obtained in the AIEEA. Aspirants included in this ICAR merit list is called for the counselling process. The reservation category information filled in the application form is also be used for the preparation of ICAR 2019 merit list. The merit list will display the ICAR merit rank, category, marks and name of candidates. The overall merit rank will be used for admission to AUs through ICAR counselling 2019.

ICAR Result 2019: Tie-Breaking Method

In case, the marks of two or more candidates are equal, the authority will determine following inter-se merit to prepare ICAR merit rank 2019 for UG, PG and JRF/SRF courses:

ICAR Cut off 2019

The cut off of ICAR 2019 is the minimum qualifying percentage which must be secured to pass ICAR AIEEA 2019 test. ICAR 2019 cut off varies for different categories. Only aspirants declared considered for counselling provided they must achieve set ICAR Cut Off 2019. Below is the category-wise ICAR cut off for UG/PG and JRF.

Revised ICAR 2019 Cut off

As mentioned earlier, ICAR has set the above minimum qualifying AIEEA cut off percentage to pass the entrance test. Based on this cut off percentage, ICAR result 2019 is prepared.

However, as stated in the information brochure, the competent authority (DDG) may lower the minimum qualifying marks, in case the numbers of candidate called for ICAR counselling are less than the seats available.

Evaluation of ICAR Result 2019

The result of ICAR 2019 will be calculated as per the following pattern:

Publication of ICAR answer key – The official answer key of ICAR 2019 has been released for the ICAR exam. The answer key will display the solutions to the questions asked in the entrance test. The responses marked by aspirants are matched with the solutions provided in the answer key.

Calculation of ICAR result 2019 – After the publication of the answer key of ICAR 2019, aspirants need to calculate their number of correct and incorrect responses. Thereafter, using the following marking pattern, aspirants can evaluate their expected ICAR scores.

Formula: Total marks = Number of correct answers X 4 – number of incorrect answers X 1

Challenging ICAR Answer Key

In case, the aspirant is not satisfied with the solutions provided in the answer key, they are allowed to raise an objection against ICAR 2019 official answer key. In order to challenge the answer key of ICAR 2019, candidates need to fill an online application form and paying a sum of Rs. 1000 per question by credit/debit cards or net banking. It must be noted that the fee paid for challenging is non-refundable. However, if the authority accepts the challenge, then the amount of Rs. 1000 will be paid back to the concerned candidate.

ICAR Counselling 2019 after the result

After the declaration of ICAR result, the selected candidates will be allowed to participate for counselling. A final category-wise merit list will be prepared for ICAR counselling 2019.

• Aspirants declared qualified for online ICAR AIEEA 2019 counselling must register themselves by paying Rs. 2000 in online mode
• Only registered candidates will be able to log in for filling their choices of colleges and courses
• ICAR 2019 seat allotment result will be prepared on the basis of preferences of colleges as well as courses, ICAR merit rank and availability of seats
• Candidates who will be allotted seats must report at the particular University for document verification and completion of admission procedure

Presently, there are a total of 73 Agricultural ICAR Colleges and Universities (AUs), of which 57 are the accredited Agricultural Universities under ICAR-AU system under which admission will be granted in accredited programmes. These 73 Agricultural  Universities comprises of:

• 61 State Agricultural, Veterinary, Horticulture and Fisheries Universities
• 3 Central Agricultural Universities - CAU, Imphal; Dr. RPCAU, Pusa and RLBCAU, Jhansi
• 5 Deemed Universities
