ICAR Application Form 2021 Available for UG, PG, JRF

ICAR Application Form 2021 to be filled by the candidates. The last date to fill the online application form is 20 August 2021. The ICAR 2021 application form can be filled online only and it is a common application form for admission to UG, PG and JRF courses offered in the ICAR AIEEA participating colleges. ICAR application form cannot be filled in offline mode and the online link for the application form is available here. If a candidate submits more than one application, his/her candidature shall be cancelled. Last year for the first time the ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) was conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) and there are some changes in the application form process. ICAR AIEEA score is accepted by approximately 74 Agriculture universities in India so all those candidates looking for admission in Agriculture and allied courses should fill up the application form.ICAR Exam is for admission into 15% seats in Undergraduate courses (BSc, B.Tech), 25% seats in Masters and 100% seats in ICAR Deemed Universities.

The applications for the ICAR 2021 Exam has started on 25 July 2021 and the link for the same is given below. The candidate can choose only one Degree course at the time of applying for the application form. The option once exercised cannot be changed. There is a common icar application form for UG, PG and Doctoral (PGS) Programme. Candidates have to choose the course they are opting entrance exam for from the three given below.

ICAR 2021 Online Application Form - Steps to Apply 

The step by step guide for filling the ICAR Application Form is given below. The candidates are advised to follow the instruction carefully and ensure that the details filled by them in every section of the form are correct in all manner. Candidates will require their 28 digits Aadhaar enrollment number at the time of filling up of the application form. (In case of candidates from J&K, Assam &Meghalaya passport number/ration card number/bank account number or any other valid Govt.identity number will be required). The application form of the candidates will be rejected in case there is no Aadhaar Enrollment ID number on the ICAR application form.

ICAR Application Form 2021 (Step 1) - Registration 

The ICAR application has to be filled online and following details have to be filled online while filling up the ICAR registration form 2021. The applicant's name, Father's name, mother's name, date of birth, Gender, Id proof and number, place of residence, mobile number and Email Id, generation of ID and password

ID and Password Generation - After completing this step the Application number and password would be generated and candidates should keep the details safely. The id and password will also be sent to the registered mobile number and Email Id.

The ICAR Registration Form has the following fields

ICAR Application Form (Step 2): Choose Exam Centre, Add Address

The candidates have to choose the exam centres while filling up the application form. Five preferences can be given while filling up the application form. The candidate can give preference for 4 Exam Cities while filling the ICAR 2021 application form. There are a total of 178 cities in India where the ICAR Exam would be conducted for UG Exam, 88 cities for the PG Exam and 88 cities for the PhD Exam. The candidate also has to add the corresponding and permanent address.

ICAR Application Form 2021 (Step 3): Add Academic Details

This section will be different for UG, PG and PhD Candidates. The candidate has to select the Subject Group of Exam that is in Class 12 out of Agriculture/Biology or Mathematics which subject they have studied. At this stage, no certificate has to be uploaded.

• Class 10 board name, year of passing, scoring scheme and percentage/CGPA obtained.

ICAR Application Form 2021 (Step 4): Upload Photo, Signature, Thumb Impression

 The candidates have to upload the following things while filling up the online ICAR Application Form. While uploading the images the candidates should make sure that the images are in JPG, JPEG, GIF or PNG format. The application form also has the facility to edit the image after uploading and also to check whether the image uploaded will be accepted by the system.

1. Signature: Candidates have to upload their Signature 
2. Thumb Impression: Candidates have to upload their Thumb Impression
   • Left Thumb Impression for Males
   • Right Thumb Impression for Females
3. Father’s/mother’s/guardian’s signature: Candidates also need to provide their father’s, mother’s or guardian’s signature. It is not mandatory for PhD candidates.
4. Declaration in his/her Handwriting: Candidates need to provide the following declaration-
   “I agree to abide by the rules and regulations governing the examination as contained in the Information Bulletin, which I have duly studied and understood thoroughly”.

ICAR Application Form (Step 5): Payment of Fee

While filling the ICAR online Application Form 2021, the candidates can make the payment of ICAR 2021 Application form by using any of the method Credit / Debit card or Net Banking using Payment Gateway of Canara Bank. The payment process is online only candidates need not visit the bank to pay the application fee.

Payment through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking using Canara Bank Payment gateway:

• Candidate can also opt for making fee payment through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking or using Bank Challan
• Candidates can make the payment online and need not to visit any bank.
• Receipt of such payments is confirmed immediately.

Submission of ICAR AIEEA Online Application Form 2021

Candidates are advised to check the details of the application form before the final submission because once the application has been processed then the candidates will not be able to do any changes. Candidates who have applied online and should keep at least two printouts of the ICAR application form with them for future reference. The candidates need not send any hard copy of the ICAR online application form 2021. The admit card will be available from 8 May and the result will be declared by 15 June 2021.

Editing the ICAR AIEEA Application Form

The candidate will get the facility to edit their ICAR online Application form only once. It takes 2-3 days for Updating of Correction. The candidates are advised to fill the online application correctly so that they do not face any difficulty in the admission process. A wrongly filled online form may also lead to rejection of the application. Candidates are advised that for Correction in Educational Details, Candidates can update Educational Qualification after payment.

Question - What is UPS Category?

Candidates of the remote and Under Privileged States/ UTs only namely (i) Andaman & Nicobar Islands, (ii) Arunachal Pradesh, (iii) Dadra and Nagar Haveli, (iv) Daman & Diu, (v) Goa, (vi) Lakshadweep, (vii) Manipur, (viii) Meghalaya, (ix) Mizoram, (x) Nagaland, (xi) Sikkim and (xii) Tripura where educational facilities in agriculture and allied science subjects either do not exist or have no SAU(s) and who qualify this examination will only be considered under the UPS category. The candidates under this category will have to produce a domicile certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of admission. There will not be any State quota within this quota.

Question -  I wrongly uploaded photograph without date & name?
Answer: If you uploaded your Photograph without Date & Name but the photo is recent, then there is no need to send the application for the update and the application will not be rejected.

Question - I wrongly uploaded wrong thumb impression?
Answer: If you have wrongly uploaded thumb impression (for Boys wrongly uploaded right & Girls uploaded left). It will serve the purpose and application will not be rejected.

Question: I have uploaded the wrong education details. Can I edit the form?

 Answer: You will get one chance to update the educational details. Many boards/Universities results are still not declared, they will also get the chance to update their result before ICAR AIEEA result is declared. Candidates can update Educational Qualification after payment.
