KCET 2018 Application Form - Last Date Extended!

KCET 2018 Application Form can be filled through online mode. The application process has started and the candidates can fill the form by following the link given towards the end of this page. BY KCET scores, the candidates can get admission into various undergraduate programs and other courses in Government University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions. KEA has released the KCET 2018 official brochure in which all the important information pertaining to the KCET Entrance exam, exam date, eligibility criteria, application process and exam mode are available. KCET 2018 Application Form can be filled in online mode only.

There is no procedure for offline application. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for the year 2018 will be held on 18 & 19 April 2018 and the Kannada Language Test will be held on 20 April 2018.

Latest Update: Candidates are informed that the KCET Application Process is restarted from 15 March 2018 and will be continued until 22 March 2018. This is the last opportunity is given to the eligible candidates who could not apply for KCET-2018.

The application process for KCET has started. The candidates who are interested in seeking admission in various Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture courses in Karnataka are suggested to fill the form on or before the due date. The last date to fill the application form is 22 March 2018. The application form can be filled in two phases

• In the first phase, candidates have to fill the details and can also edit the data if required.
• In the second phase, the candidates have to select the declaration regarding entries made by them in the online application are correct.

Things to be kept Ready before filling KCET 2018 Application Form

Candidates should have a valid personal mobile phone number and or a personal E-Mail id. Photo, Signature and Left-Hand Thumb Impression 

• Format: JPG/ JPEG Format
• All files should be greater than 5 KB and less than 40 KB
• Image Dimension: 3.5cm X 4.5 cm
• Signature and Left Thumb impression Dimension: 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm
• Signature/ Left thumb impression of Parents/ guardian

The candidates should produce the Caste / Category and Income Certificate without fail during the verification of original documents at the Helpline Centres.

Steps to fill KCET 2018 Application Form

The candidates at times face difficulties while filling up the application form. Hence, the candidates are provided with steps to fill the KCET 2018 Application Form. All the candidates who are filling up the form are suggested to follow the instructions carefully.

First Phase

• The candidates need to register themselves by following the link which is given on this page. After clicking on the Register button, the candidates will have to provide all the required details on the registration form and submit. 

• After successful registration, a login prompt will be displayed and the candidates are required to enter the USER ID and Password created by them and Login.
• On Succesful Login by the candidates "Student information" will be displayed, in which the candidates have to start entering the required information. Once the candidates complete the student information entries, they will have to save the entries made.
• The candidates will enter all the study details and select "save and next" button. After Succesful saving the study details, the candidates will have to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, left-hand Thumb impression and parent signature and select " save and next" button.

Second Phase

• In the Second phase of KCET Application Form 2018, the candidates will have to select the declaration, read and understand it completely and then select "Submit" button.
• After the submission, the candidates must select the bank challan, download and take a print-out of the challan and make the payment to the respective bank.
• No further changes can be made in the Second phase after the candidates have selected the "Declaration".

The KCET Application Fees should be paid after final submission of the application form, candidates will be redirected to the Challan tab where they can download the Challan by selecting the bank/post office. There is no option to pay the application fees online.

Payment of Fees: The candidate has to pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of the following banks/post office

• Central Bank
• Indian Bank
• Axis Bank
• State Bank of Mysore
• Syndicate Bank
• Any computerized e-Post Office.

Print the Final KCET 2018 Application Form

• Candidate can download the printout of the application at any stage of the filling of online application, but the printout is taken before Declaration is a Draft copy.
• Final copy of the application form can be downloaded by the candidate only after Declaration. The print of the application form for the paid candidates is available officially and given below this page.
• The downloaded application form (after final submission) should be duly attested by the Principal where the candidate is presently studying.If the candidates have passed 2nd PU / 12 standard examinations before 2018 Annual examination, the candidate should obtain the signature from his/ her previous College Principal where he/she has passed 2nd PU / 12th Std examination OR by any Gazetted Officer. Attestation by the Principal / Gazetted Officer in the space provided on the downloaded application form is compulsory for all the candidates

Submission of KCET 2018 Application Form

The candidates after filling the KCET 2018 Application Form have to submit the application form in order to complete the application process. However, before the final submission, the candidates are suggested to inspect the details filled by them in the form is correct in all aspect. After submission of the application form, the candidates are advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference.
