BITSAT 2018 Application Form is now available for the candidates to fill through online mode. BITSAT is a computer-based engineering entrance exam for students seeking admission to engineering first year in Birla Institute of Technology & Science. The candidates can apply for BITSAT 2018 ONLY through ONLINE mode for the admission to undergraduate B.E. programs. Candidates are required to register their names for BITSAT 2018 by applying in the prescribed application form available online and by paying the prescribed fees against the application. The last date to fill the application form is 19 March 2018. Therefore, the candidates should fill and submit the application form on or before the due date.

Steps to fill the BITSAT 2018 Application Form

Candidates can fill the BITSAT Application form 2018 Online through Internet from any place of convenience. Steps involved in the Application Process are given below. Candidates are suggested to follow each and every step carefully so that they can ignore the mistakes while filling the form.

• STEP 1 (Registration): The candidates first need to register on the official website by filling the following details:
  • Name 
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth
  • E-mail Id

• STEP 2 (Fill in the Application Form): The second step is to fill the application form, the candidates in which the candidates have to fill the following details
  • Address of communication: The candidates have to fill their address of communication.
  • Class 12 examination details: After filling up the address of communication, the candidates have to fill the details of their class 12 examination in which they have to fill the year of passing, subject to be taken for Part 4 of BITSAT etc.
  • Centre of preferences: The candidates have to choose the centre of their choice after filling the details of class 12 examination. The candidates need to choose three test preferences.

• STEP 3 (Verifying Application Details): At this step, the candidates need to verify all the details entered as and click on the “SUBMIT” Button. The candidates will not be able to make changes in the application form after submission. However, there is an exception and the candidates can edit some the details during Last week of March 2018.

• STEP 4 (Upload photo and signature): After verifying all the details of the application, the candidates will get an application number which they should note down for future correspondences. In this step, the candidates also need to upload photograph and signature.

• STEP 5 (Payment of Application Fee): The last step of BITSAT Application Form is to make the payment of the application fee. The candidates can make the payment through any of the two modes which are described below on this page.

Important Points to remember for BITSAT 2018 Application Form

• Before taking the print out of the duly filled Application form, the candidates will be given a system generated Unique Application Number. 
• Candidates are required to Note down this number as it will be required for all future use.
• If by chance the candidate does not have a printer attached to the computer while filling the online application, they have the option to complete the application process later on and take the printout.
• Candidates are advised not to use the 'Back' button on the toolbar of the browser.Instead, use the links and buttons available on the page to move from one page to another.

Have you made any mistake in BITSAT 2018 Application form?

• If in case the candidate discovers any mistake in the application form submitted by them, they can apply online for BITSAT 2018 a second time and send a letter to admission office BITS, Pilani mentioning the earlier application number which will be cancelled.
• In such cases, the second application has to be accompanied by a fresh application fee. However, the fees paid with the first application form will not be refunded.

• Challan Payment: Challan payment can be made by cash payment at all the ICICI Bank branch within India.

Separate Application for BITS apart from BITSAT Application form

Apart from filling the BITSAT 2018 application form, the student has to fill a separate admission form for admission to BITS. The student has to give the details of their Class 12 Marks and the preference for the programme.

Candidates are advised to check the details of the application form before the final submission because once the application has been processed then the candidates will not be able to do any changes. Candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference.
