NIPER JEE 2018 is a computer-based exam conducted by the National Institute of Pharmaceutical education and research (NIPER) for admissions in PG and Doctoral level courses in Pharmacy. Applications for NIPER JEE 2018 will start from 12 April 2018. NIPER JEE 2018 Dates

The eligibility criteria for the NIPER JEE Masters and PhD are given on this page. The candidates are suggested to go through the below requirements to ensure whether they are eligible to apply for NIPER JEE. The eligibility for the masters and PhD are given below separately.

NIPER Eligibility Requirement for M.Pharm, M.S Pharm, M.Tech Pharm 

• Qualifying Exam: B.Pharm. or M.Sc (Organic/ Analytical Chemistry/ Life Sciences/ Botany) or M.Sc. (Biological Sciences) or B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering) or equivalent or B.V.Sc. or M.B.B.S. or BAMS.
• Minimum Marks requirement: The requirement of marks is different as per the category. A minimum of 60% marks for General/ OBC, 55% for SC/ ST and 50% marks for PH Category candidates.
• Appearing in Graduation: The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply for NIPER JEE.

NIPER Eligibility Requirement for PhD

• Qualifying Exam:  M.S.(Pharm.)/ M.Pharm/ M.Tech (Pharm) in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum Marks requirement: The requirement of marks is different as per the category. A minimum of 60% marks for General/ OBC, 55% for SC/ ST and 50% marks for PH Category candidates.

NIPER JEE 2018 application process will start from 12 April 2018 and the application forms can be filled until 15 May 2018. The process of filling the form is completely online. Steps to fill the NIPER JEE Application Form 2018

The candidates are provided with the steps to fill the application form. The steps will help the candidates to fill the form correctly.

Submission of Application Form

The candidates have to fill the application form by mentioning the details in every section of the form. After filling the form, the candidates have to take a print out and then put signatures at the bottom of the form. At last, the application form would be sent to the following address with requisite documents.

NIPER JEE Admit Card 2018

NIPER JEE Admit card will be available to download for the candidates soon. Generally, the admit cards are available one week before the exam. The candidates will be able to download the admit card by providing application number and password.

The authority will not send the admit card to the candidates by post. It will be available online only. The candidates have to bring the copy of downloaded admit card along with them with the original and valid photograph while they are going to appear for the exam.

The application fees for the NIPER JEE 2018 is different as per the categories. The amount of fee to be paid by the candidates are given in the table below. The candidates belonging to the respective categories must pay their fee accordingly. The payment of the fee can be made via Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking

NIPER JEE 2018 Application Fee

NIPER Fee for MS Pharm, M.Pharm and M.Tech Pharm

NIPER JEE 2018 result will be declared 5 days after the test that is by third week of June 2018. NIPER will release a combined list of all different categories with candidate’s Roll no., Application no. and Name, overall rank secured by the student and Category rank.

The merit list will also contain the name of the candidates in the descending order of a student’s overall rank. The candidates shortlisted based on the result will be called for the interview and group discussion. The final selection will be done on the basis of the best performances by the students in written test, interview and group discussion.

NIPER Counseling 2018

• NIPER Counseling would be based on merit obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination. Candidates have to attend counselling on the scheduled date and time.
• They should be prepared with the requisite fee and payments to be paid through bank draft (only in favour of NIPER Mohali or Chandigarh).
• The payment should be done immediately after the counselling if admission is offered to the candidate.
• Final admission will be made only after paying the requisite fee.

Documents required at the time of NIPER Counseling

The following documents should be carried by the candidates at the time of admission. All the documents should be self-attested and have to be deposited to the institute.

• Class 10 Certificate as a proof of age and correct name
• Marksheets of all the semesters/years of the qualifying degree
• Scorecard of GPAT/GATE/NET, wherever applicable. 
• Admit card of NIPER JEE (online test). 
• Certificate of reservation, if applicable. 
• Certificate of reservation and certificate of income (OBC candidates)
• Certificate of disability, if applicable
• Sponsorship certificate from the employer in case of  Government /Industry sponsored candidate.
• Affidavit against ragging to be provided as per the given format.
• Award letter (if any) of NET-JRF of CSIR/ UGC/ DBT/ ICMR, DST etc. (In Case of PhD)

NIPER JEE 2018 is the common entrance exam for all the Masters Programs. Thus, the exam pattern will also remain same for all the courses. There will be a common question paper for Master Level Programs including M.B.A. Pharm. 

The level of questions will be of B.Pharm.and M. Sc (relevant field).  There will also be questions on General Aptitude.

• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions
• Number of Questions: 200 questions.
• Negative Marking: 25% marks will be deducted from each wrong answer given by the students.
