Before filling the online Application form, candidates must go through the eligibility criteria given below which is common for the Mysore and Ooty Campuses.

Age: The candidate should complete 17 years of age on or before 31 December 2018 for admission to D- Pharm, B. Pharm, B. Pharm Practice and Pharm D programme (6 years course).

Educational qualification:  should have passed 10+2/HSC/PDC/PUC with an aggregate of 40 % with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) or Mathematics and English. For SC/ST/OBC, the passing criteria will be only 35 % in PUC or its equivalent examination in PCB or PCM.

Eligibility for Bachelor of Pharmacy Practise (B. Pharm Pr.) course

• Candidates should have passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Course from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India approved under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act 1948.
• Candidate should have been a registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act.
• Should have minimum of four years of pharmacy practice experience in a community or hospital pharmacy.

Steps to Fill the JSS College of Pharmacy (Ooty/Mysore) Application Form 2018

The application process for admission to JSS College of Pharmacy has started and the candidates seeking admission in UG and PG course can now fill up the application form. At times, while filling up the application form, the students get stuck in some section and be confused. Well, for all those candidates, we are providing step by step guidance which will help you to fill the application form.

Registration for JSS College of Pharmacy Admission 2018

• The candidates need to go to the official website of Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara University by following the link given above.
• Now the candidates will be required to register themselves by providing the required details.
• After successful registration, a registration number provided to them will be displayed on the screen. And a system generated email will be sent to their registered email id.

Filling up the Application Form and Uploading of Documents

• Now the candidates need to login to the system with User Id and password and verify the details provided by them.
• After successful verification, “APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO UG/ PG” will be displayed on the screen, here candidates need to provide the required information
• After completing the information entries, now the candidate need to upload photograph and signature in the space provided and then proceed for payment.

Payment of Application form for JSS College of Pharmacy Admission 2018

Application fee can be paid online only. The online payment can be made either by credit card/ debit card issued by a bank in India OR through internet banking.  After the payment has been made, a hard copy of the application form will be generated with the Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara University (JSSU) application number.

Submission of Application Form

The candidates have to submit the form through online only. There is no other way of submitting it. After filling up the application form, the candidates are suggested to cross check all the details on the form. Once satisfied, click on submit button. The candidates are also suggested to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference.

JSS College of Pharmacy Entrance Admit card

The admit card for the entrance exam will be issued by the university only for the candidates who have filled and submitted the application form successfully. Candidates can download the admit card by providing their registration number and date of birth.

It is mandatory to bring the admit card in the exam hall. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without the admit card. The link to download the admit card will be available on this page soon.

The application/registration fee paid is non-refundable. So, before submitting the application fee candidates must check that all the details provided by them are correct.

JSS College of Pharmacy Fee Structure (Annual)

The result of the entrance exam will be out in the month of June. The admission of the shortlisted candidates will be based on this result followed by the counselling. The marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exams will also be included along with the entrance test result to shortlist the candidates.

For Bachelor of Pharmacy – Lateral Entry (B. Pharm- Lateral Entry)

• SSLC/10th Std., marks card
• PUC/HSC/ 10+2/12th Std., marks card
• D. Pharm marks card/ certificate for admission to B. Pharm Lateral Entry
• Conduct/ Character certificate issued by the college last studied.

• PCI – recognition of the college from where student has completed the course
• Should be a registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act
• Minimum of four years of pharmacy practice experience in a community or hospital pharmacy
• Conduct/ Character certificate issued by the college last studied
• Caste / Community certificate (for of SC/ST/OBC category candidates)
• Transfer certificate 10 Migration certificate for other than Karnataka candidates
• Six recent coloured photograph
• Identity Proof (e.g. Aadhaar Card/ passport/voters card/pan card/driving license)

• Mode of Exam - Pen and Paper Test 
• Syllabus UG: The syllabus for entrance test for admission to all the UG level Pharmacy courses will be at the level of 10+2 / PUC examination and the concerned subjects will be Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  
• Syllabus PG Courses: The candidates are required to practice the syllabus of Thir YEar and Final Year of the B.Pharm course.

Selection will be made on the merit based on marks secured in Qualifying examinations in relevant subjects conducted by various Universities and an entrance examination.
