About BHU BVSc & AH Admission
BHU BVSc & AH Admission 2018 application process has been started for the admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry Course. The admission in BHU BVSc & AH program will be based on the final merit list of the candidates based on NEET scorecard. Candidates have to appear and clear this NEET examination to get admission in BVSc & AH program. The last date of BHU BVSc & AH Admission 2018 application form submission is 21 February 2018.

Till last year, BHU used to conduct the exam for BHU BVSc & AH Course. But from this year onwards candidates seeking admission in BHU BVSc & AH Program will have to register and appear for NEET Exam. On the basis of the NEET merit list and scorecard candidates will be selected for admission to BHU BVSc & AH Program.

The counselling for BVSc and AH will start on 15 September 2018. The students have to go to BHU for counselling and seat allotment.

BHU BVSc & AH Admission Eligibility criteria
- Minimum Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must have clear Higher Secondary (10+2) or the Indian School Certificate Examination or Intermediate examination (or equivalent examination) in Science from a recognized Board/University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (which shall include a practical test in these subjects) and English securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed each of the aforesaid subjects individually.
- For Reserved Category: In the case of SC/ST candidates, must have scored at least minimum 40% marks in aggregate in qualifying examinations and in English securing at least 40% marks in aggregate and must have passed each of the aforesaid subjects individually.
- Age: The age of candidates is not to be less than 17 years and not more than 25 years on 1 July 2018 (Applicant should be born on or after 1 July 1993 and on or before 1 July 2001).
- There is an age relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST and PC categories and 3 years in upper age limit for candidates belonging to OBC category for admissions in B.V.Sc. & A.H. course
BHU BVSc & AH Admission Application form and Admit Card
The entire application process of UET examination can be filled through online mode for admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses during the academic session 2018-19. Those candidates who desire to appear in UET exam must fill the application form. After online submission of application form and successful payment of Application Processing/ Test Fee, candidates are advised to take a printout of the online filled up application form for future reference. Application Form Submission
The application form is to be filled up and submitted through online mode. Candidates have to upload the scan copy of their photograph and signature in the application form as per instruction is given in the portal. After the candidate has filled up the application form online and clicks on the "Confirm‟ button for final submission.
Payment of BHU BVSc & AH Application Fee
After filling the application form, candidates have to pay the application fee. Candidates have following options for payment of Application Processing/Entrance Test Fee:
- Online Payment: Candidates can pay the entrance test fee through credit card/ debit card through the payment gateway available on the Entrance test portal.
- Offline Payment: Candidates can also pay the entrance test fee in Cash through “Challan” in any branch of HDFC Bank. Candidates who choose the offline mode for fee submission must print the Challan from the entrance test portal. The printout of challan will contain all necessary details of the candidate, bank account details of the Banaras Hindu University in which the entrance test fee will be deposited and the exact amount to be deposited. Candidates will be required to visit any branch of the HDFC Bank of their choice (only during banking hours on any banking day) where they will be required to deposit the requisite Fee amount to the Bank.

Since the selection is based on NEET Scorecard. Candidates need to appear for NEET and the admit card for the NEET Exam will be available to download from the second week of April 2018. The admit card will not be sent by post to the candidates. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from the link which will be provided on this page, as soon as the admit card will be released.

BHU BVSc & AH Admission Result and Counselling
The selection of candidates in BHU BVSc & AH course will be done on the basis of NEET Merit List and satisfies all the eligibility requirements. Candidates will get admission if they qualify for NEET and complete all formalities required for admission in the course. The admission process will begin after the declaration of NEET results. After the result declaration, the registered candidates will have to revisit BHU Portal and enter their NEET score within the due date. On the basis of the NEET merit list and scorecard candidates will be selected for admission to BHU BVSc & AH Program.

BHU BVSc & AH Admission Exam pattern
The admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses will be based on NEET Entrance exam. So, the candidates should know the exam pattern followed by NEET. Here we are giving the details about the NEET Exam pattern.
Duration of Exam: 3 Hours
No of Questions: 180 MCQs from the three subjects namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
The medium of Exam: From this year onwards NEET will be conducted in 10 Languages. Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Oriya, Kannada and Telugu.
