TANATA 2018 - Result Announced, Merit List, Counselling, Fee

TANATA 2018 Result has been announced on 16 August for the exam conducted on 11 August, Candidates who appeared in the exam can download the result. Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test in Architecture 2018 entrance test was conducted on 11 August for admission to the B.Arch programmes of various colleges of Tamil Nadu.  TANATA 2018 exam contains two sections i.e. Part A and B. The total marks of the test are 200 and the duration is 180 minutes. TANATA measures the aptitude skill of the candidate and TANATA scores would be valid only for the admission to the BArch Degree Programme under following

• Management Quota 
• Government Quota Lapsed Seats for the Year 2018-19.

TANATA Result 2018 Announced

After appearing in the exam, the TANATA Result 2018 is now available. Candidates who will appear in the entrance exam can get their scorecard downloaded by clicking on the link below.

Qualifying marks for TANATA 2018: Rules

• At least 25% must be secured in MCQ portion
• At least 25% must be secured in Drawing portion
• Overall qualifying marks (out of 200) would be based on post-exam statistics and at the discretion of Coordination Committee of TANATA 2018

TANATA 2018 Selection process

• Government Quota seats will continue to be filled by Anna University based on the marks obtained in + 2 examinations and in NATA 2017/ 2018.
• The Management Quota and the Government Quota lapsed seats will be filled up based on the marks obtained in +2 examinations and on the marks obtained in NATA 2017/ 2018.
• The remaining vacant seats will be filled up based on the marks obtained in +2 examinations and on the marks obtained in JEE 2 Paper.
• The remaining vacant seats if any will be filled based on marks obtained in +2 examination and marks obtained in TANATA 2018.

TANATA 2018 Dates

The eligibility requirements for the candidates appearing for TANATA 2018 is given below.

• The candidates who have secured 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects

OR

• The candidates who have completed 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/ State Government with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics

OR

• The candidates who have passed International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.

TANATA 2018 scores are valid for the admission to the BArch Degree Programme under Management Quota and Government Quota Lapsed Seats for the Year 2018-19. The candidates in order to get admission in Tamil Nadu Architecture college.

Steps to Fill the TANATA 2018 Application Form

The candidates filling up the application form are suggested to follow the steps given below to avoid the mistakes while filling the application form. 

• STEP 1: Create a user Id.
• STEP 2: Click on Register to create user Id.
• STEP 3: After Registration Login to enter particulars.

TANATA Exam Centres

There are total 6 test centres for the TANATA 2018 Exam. The allocation of centres will be based on the choices given by the candidate in the application subject to availability. The candidates should understand that the request for change of allocated centre will not be entertained under any circumstances.

The TANATA 2018 application fees are different as per the categories. The candidates belonging to the respective categories must pay their application fee. The application fee has to be paid through online mode by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

Candidates who have applied for Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test in Architecture 2018 can get their admit card through online mode. The TANATA Admit Card 2018 has been available from 7 August for all the registered candidates. Candidates can click on the link provided below to download their TANATA hall ticket easily. Applicants need to enter their LOGIN credentials to download the hall ticket of TANATA 2018. After downloading TANATA the admit card every candidate must take a copy of it for future use. Candidates who are willing to apply for TANATA 2018 must go through the exam pattern mentioned below. Every applying applicant must note that the exam will have Multiple choice questions and will be of 200 marks.

TANATA Exam Details

There will be two parts in the examination, Part A and Part B. The candidates would be given a folder containing booklets for both at the beginning of the examination.

• Part A: It will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and has to be answered in OMR sheet which involves shading the correct answer.
• Part B: It will consist of drawing questions and has to be answered in drawing sheets

TANATA Qualifying Marks

• Part A: 30 marks out of 120
• Part B: 20 marks out of 80
