WBJEEB JENPAUH 2 -BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BMLT Admissions 2017

WBJEEB JENPAUH 2 2017 examination will be conducted on 13 August 2017. The JENPAUH 2 is an entrance examination for admission in B.H.M.S., B.M.L.T., B.A.M.S., and B.U.M.S. programs. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is the conducting body of this entrance examination. WBJEE JENPAUH 2 is conducted for admission to the following courses;

• BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery)
• BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery)
• BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery)
• BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technician)

WBJEEB JENPAUH 2 Dates

Age - The candidate must not be less than 17 years on 31 December 2017 

Nationality - The candidate must be Indian Citizen

Eligibility for B.H.M.S. and B.M.L.T.

• Candidates have to clear Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent Board/Council of examination recognised by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.
• They must have subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Vernacular or any other 5th subject. For admission, they must have Individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Eligibility for B.A.M.S. and B.U.M.S.

• Candidates have to clear Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent Board/Council of examination recognised by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.
• They must have subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Vernacular or any other 5th subject. They must have 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.

The application form of WBJEEB JENPAUH 2 will be filled through ONLINE mode only. There is no printed application form available. Steps to fill the WBJEEB JENPAUH 2 Application Form

STEP 1: Registration: Candidates have to fill the registration form by filling the details such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s name and Date of birth, mobile number and email ID. After successful registration, the application number will be sent to the candidates via Email/SMS.

STEP 2: Fill the Application Form: After successful login, candidates have to fill the application form.

STEP 3: Upload Images: Candidates have to upload scanned images of their recent colour photograph, signature and left thumb impression (LTI) all in one go. The Format, storage size and physical dimension of the images are mentioned below:

STEP 4: Application Fee Payment - After filling the application form and uploading the images, candidates have to pay the application fee for final submission. The Examination Fees can be paid in cashless mode by ‘Net Banking’/ ‘Debit Card’/ ‘Credit Card’ or in cash using Allahabad Bank e-challan, which will be automatically generated for downloading once the same option is selected. The candidate has to take a print of the challan and deposit the fees in cash in any branch of Allahabad Bank with Core Banking Services (CBS).

• Application Fee: Rs. 500

STEP 5: Confirmation Page: After successful submission of application form and payment, the candidate shall automatically be directed to the option for downloading and printing of the ‘Confirmation Page’.

Submission of Application form

The application form of WBJEEB JENPAUH 2 has to be submitted through online mode only. There is no offline mode to submit the application form, therefore the candidates must not send the application form or any other document to the WBJEE Board for the same.  

Correction in WBJEEB JENPAUH 2 Application Form

Information provided in the application form once submitted cannot be changed/edited/modified under normal circumstances. If candidates want to correct any information in their application for, he/she needs to personally visit the Board office with all original documents within the last date of application. Nevertheless, the Board’s decision in this regard will be final and binding for the candidate.

JENPAUH 2 Application Correction

Applications of the following candidates of JENPAUH 2 are liable to be canceled for NOT
uploading photographs/signatures/left thumb impressions. The Board has decided to provide another opportunity for correction to these candidates.

Candidates willing to avail this opportunity has to visit the Board office personally latest by 20th July 2017 (until 3:00 PM). The list of the candidates whose application has been rejected is given below.

WBJEEB JENPAUH 2 Admit Card

Admit cards will be generated on the notified date for the student to download and to take a print. The candidate has to carry to the examination centre a printed hard copy of the admit card. The Admit Card will be issued on the date of 7 August 2017 on the official website of WBJEEB. Candidates must ensure that the admit card is not mutilated/ distorted/ soiled even by accident because such kind of admit cards will not be allowed to appear in JENPAUH 2.

The result of WBJEEB JENPAUH 2 examination will be declared on 30 August 2017. The result will be published in the form of Rank Cards, which will contain all relevant ranks and total score. The WBJEEB only conducts the entrance examination and prepares the merit list not the counselling or admission for BHMS/BAMS/BUMS/BMLT courses. The counselling/ seat allotment process will be conducted by Central Selection Committee (AYUSH). WBJEEB will prepare the merit list after the declaration of result.

Number of Papers: Two namely; a) Physics & Chemistry, and b) Biological Sciences.

Number of Question: 50 Questions in Each Paper

Marks: 100 Marks Each Paper

Duration of Exam: 2 Hours

Mode of Question: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

Language of Question Paper : English and Bengali

JENPAUH 2 Syllabus - The test will be based on the standard syllabus of class 11 and 12 under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) 

Scoring Method in WBJEEB JENPAUH 2 Examination

• All questions will have four answer options
• Only one option is correct.
• The correct response will yield 2 (two) mark.

Negative Marking - Incorrect response will yield-1/2 (25% negative) marks.

• For any combination of response with more than one option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield-1/2 25% negative) marks
• No response will yield zero marks.
