NFSC Nagpur Admission 2018 Dates

Age: Candidates should have been born on or after 1 October 1993.

Nationality: The candidate applying for the BE Fire Engineering Course should be Indian National.

Academic Eligibility: The candidates should have passed Class 12 examination of any State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination.

• The candidates must be passed Class 12 with the English, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
• The candidates must have secured minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% marks, in case of SC/ST/OBC categories) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject added together.
• The candidates must have obtained All India Rank in JEE (Main) 2016 (paper 1) given by CBSE

Physical Standard Required for NFSC Nagpur Admission 2018

To be eligible for the admission to the NFSC Nagpur Admission 2018 for the BE Fire Engineering course, the candidates must have qualified with the Physical Standard. The physical standards for the male and female are separately given below.

For Male

• Minimum Height: 165 cms (Relaxable by 5 cms in the case of Garhwal, Assamese Gorkha and the member of the Scheduled Tribes). 
• Chest: 81 cms. Unexpanded and 86 cms. Expanded (Fully expanded with a minimum of 5 cms Expansion)
• Weight: Minimum 50 kgs. 

For Female 

• Minimum Height: 157. (Relaxable by 2.5 cms in the case of Garhwal, Assamese Gorkha, and member of the Scheduled Tribes.)
• Weight: Minimum 46 kgs.

Medical Standard Required for NFSC Nagpur Admission 2018

As the Physical Standard, the requirement of the medical standard is also important to get the admission in the NFSC Nagpur to pursue the BE Fire Engineering Course. The medical requirement given below is for both male and female.

• Visual: Better eye – 6/6 without aid (Eligible vision – 6/6 only) Worse Eye – 6/12 
• Colour Vision: No color blindness. 
• Other Requirement: The candidate must not have knock-knee, flat foot, squint eyes and stammering. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect.

The NFSC Nagpur Admission involves certain steps. So that the candidates applying for the admission to the BE Fire Engineering programme should follow the given steps and fill the NFSC Nagpur 2018 Application Form. There are total 4 steps to fill the application form.

STEP 1: Firstly, the candidates have to follow the link given on this page and register themselves on the official website in order to apply for the NFS Nagpur Admission 2018.

STEP 2: After that, the candidates have to fill the required details in each and every section of the form. The candidates have to fill the following details:

• Personal Details: In this section, the candidates have to fill their name, category, gender, DOB etc.
• Education Details: In this section, the candidates have to fill the details like the year of passing the Class 10 and 12, total percentage etc.
• Communication Details: After both the sections, the candidates are required to fill their address of communication.
• Other Details: The candidates after filling the above details have to fill the information about their physical as well as medical standards.

STEP 3: After providing the above information, the candidates have to upload their documents. The list of documents to be uploaded is given on this page.

STEP 4: At last, the candidates have to enter the details of the demand draft in order to make the payment of the application form and submit the application form. Demand Draft must be drawn in favor of Director, National Fire Service College, Nagpur payable at Nagpur. 

Submission of the Application Form 2018

The candidates after filling up the application form should ensure the details filled by them are correct in all aspect and then click on the “Final Submit.” Candidates should know that once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be allowed to make any changes after that. The candidates have to send the duly filled application form along with the self-attested documents (listed below) and the original demand draft to the following address, so they reach NFSC before the first week of July 2018.

• Class 12 Marks Sheet.
• Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate.
• Migration Certificate (For those candidates who passed the qualifying examination other than Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education).
• Nationality Certificate (if SSC contains Nationality details, no separate certificate is required).
• Caste Certificate from competent authority by SC/ST/OBC candidates in Central Government format and self Declaration for OBC.
• JEE Main 2018 Paper I scorecard.
• Application Fees: Demand Draft in favor of Director National Fire Service College, Nagpur payable at Nagpur.

NFSC Nagpur Hostel and Mess Charges - The Hostel Fee of Rs 9,000 and the Mess Charges of Rs 220 are not included in the above list.

The selection of the candidates to pursue BE Fire Engineering Course will be done on the basis of the All India Rank in the JEE (Main) 2018 examination allotment by CBSE. 

• The rank will be given based on the scores in the JEE (Main) and the percentile scores of the candidates in the respective Board.

After the publication of the merit list, the candidates will be called for the medical verification by the National Fire Service College Board. However, the number of candidates to be called for the medical verification/ examination will be decided by the competent authority on a ratio which will also be decided by the authority.

• It is advisable that the candidates make advance travel arrangements for Document Verification and Medical test/Physical Test.
• Candidates called for Medical verification should come prepared to pay the fees immediately on their being found medically fit and on receipt of the letter of allotment of seats.

Change of Marks due to Verification- In case, the marks in the JEE (Main) 2018 Paper 1 examination are modified due to the verification and the same is duly certified by CBSE, the same will be reported to the competent authority immediately.

• Although, the effect of the change will be taken into the consideration subjects to availability of seats after the receipt of information about the change to NFSC.
