Maharashtra MBBS Admission 2018 – From 21 June, Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2018 started. Also, candidates who have appeared for NEET 2018 can check the merit list by clicking on the link provided on this page. A total of 59597 candidates’ name are available on the Maharashtra NEET merit list prepared on the basis of candidate’s state merit rank in Maharashtra. The last date for Maharashtra MBBS NEET counselling is 25 June 2018. Maharastra MBBS Merit List 2018
The merit list of Maharashtra MBBS BDS Admission 2018 has been released on 19 June. Admissions to 85% state quota seats in the state of Maharashtra will be done on the basis of NEET scores. Candidates whose name will appear in Maharashtra MBBS BDS 2018 merit list will be required to get their document verified from the allotted 4 centres.
Maharashtra MBBS Merit List 2018 Released on 19 June
After the document verification, DMER will release the revised Maharashtra MBBS 2018 merit list. Aspirants included in this merit list will be allowed to appear in the counselling process as per the allotted rank.
No communication regarding the release of Maharashtra MBBS BDS 2018 merit list will be sent to candidates individually. Maharashtra MBBS BDS 2018 merit list will consist of candidate name, All India Rank and Percentile etc. After the release of the merit list, the candidates will be called for the counselling process. MBBS Admission in Maharashtra Eligibility criteria
Age- The applicant must be born on or before 31 December 2001, And must be the citizen of India/NRI/OCI/PIO eligible.
Academic Requirements - The candidates applying for the admission into medical courses of Maharashtra must have passed the SSC/ Junior College/ School with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects
- Candidates belonging to Unreserved category must have obtained not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC Examination.
- The candidates belonging to reserved category and person with disability (PWD) have to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in HSC examination
- Persons with disability (PWD) in General category have to obtain a minimum of 45% marks in the HSC examination
Eligible Entrance Exam: A candidate belonging to open category must secure not less than 50 percentile marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at NEET UG-2018. Constitutional reservation with Person with disability claim must secure not less than 40 percentile marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together in the NEET UG - 2018.
MBBS Admission in Maharashtra Application form and Admit Card
DMER, Maharashtra has started the application form of Maharashtra MBBS/BDS 2018 from 7 June. Only aspirants who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in NEET 2018 are eligible to register for Maharashtra MBBS admission. Aspirants who are the domicile of Maharashtra can only fill and submit the application form. MBBS Admission in Maharashtra Fees
The candidates have to register for the MBBS Admission in Maharashtra by paying the (Non-Refundable) application fee of Rs 1000 for appearing in the counselling process conducted by the DMER. The Candidate shall Pay by Challan at Sate Bank of India of Rs 1,000 + Rs. 60 Bank Charges (One Thousand SixtyOnly).

Counselling for MBBS Admission in Maharashtra 2018
The Directorate of Medical Education Research (DMER), Maharashtra is liable to do the seat allotment to MBBS and BDS seats under 85% state quota. The seat allotment will be done through offline counselling for the government, private and deemed universities.
The shortlisted candidates will have to fill the application form. After filling up the application form, the notification regarding the counselling venue and the schedule is given below. The candidates have to reach their regional centre as filled in the application form for the document verification process.

- Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate/Addl. District Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate (Competent Authority for issue of such certificate)/ valid Indian passport /School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as‘Indian’.

Maharashtra MBBS Counselling Round 3 - New!
In the third round of the counselling for MBBD BDS Admission in Maharashtra, All India Quota Sets will be returned to state quota seats on 18 August 2017. All these seats (described below) will be available for third round along with following seats (MBBS/BDS).
- Non-Joining during the second round
- Cancellation during the second round
- Vacant seats of persons with disability (PWD)
- Non allotted seats during the second round
- Candidates from sr.no. 1, 4 & 5 should pay fees of Rs.1000 + Rs.60, via challan generated during the process of filling the application form to State Bank of India, Branch within the State of Maharashtra, up to 22 August 2017.
- For the candidates under sr.no.2, 3 & 6 their previous preferences will be allowed to edit. The preferences filled during 18 August 2017 to 20 August 2017 will be the valid preferences for these candidates. If such a candidate doesn't want to edit then his/her previous preferences will be considered.
- The preferences filled by the candidates during 18 August 2017 to 20 August 2017 will be considered for all the subsequent rounds for admission process to health science courses in the State of Maharashtra. All the previous preferences if not edited will be considered for further admission process.

Service Bond/ Penalty in MBBS Admission in Maharashtra
- The candidates who have been admitted against the seats of Government/Municipal Corporation colleges for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses either through GOI nominee, All India quota or through NEET UG 2018 will be required to sign a bond to serve the Government of Maharashtra or local self-government or Defence services for a period of one year, after the completion of internship, failing which he/she will be required to pay ₹10,00,000 (Rupees ten lacs only) for the default as penalty.
- The candidates are also not allowed to leave the country within the 5 years, failing which the candidates have to pay the penalty of ₹ 10,00,000 only.
- The candidates who are held responsible for the lapse of seats in MBBS Course will have to pay the similar amount of ₹10,00,000 against the reasons mentioned below.
- This penalty is applicable to all those candidates who do not join during last round or cancel a seat after last round of admission
- This penalty is also applicable to any candidate resigning a seat after cut off date for MBBS/BDS course or also fails to complete the course, irrespective of admission quota of the candidate.
