JCECEB BSc Nursing Entrance Exam 2018: RIMS Ranchi BSc Admission

JCECEB BSc Nursing Admission 2018 will be conducted on 5 August by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). The application form of JCECEB BSc Nursing 2018 has started from 30 June and the link is provided on this page. Only female aspirants who have qualified class 12 with an aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology can apply for JCECEB BSc Nursing admission 2018. The last date for JCECEB BSc Nursing online registration is 20 July. Candidates who will be registered successfully can download JCECEB BSc Nursing 2018 admit card 4 days prior to the entrance test. JCECE BSc Nursing entrance test will be of 150 marks, of which Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be of 50 marks each. JCECE BSc Nursing result 2018 will be declared in the form of merit list. Eligibility Criteria for JCECEB BSc Nursing:

Gender: Only Female candidates are eligible to apply for appearing in the JCECEB Basic BSc Nursing Entrance exam.

Age: The candidates should be aged minimum 17 years old on 31 December 2018.

Educational Qualification: The female candidates must be passed in 10+2 or equivalent with physics, chemistry, biology and English with minimum 45% marks in aggregate from a recognised India board. The female candidates are appearing in 10+2 examination in science stream with minimum 45% marks from National Institute of open School (NIOS) are also eligible to apply.

Domicile: The candidate must be a Jharkhand state domicile to be eligible for the admission. The candidates should be physically fit to be eligible for the admission.

Eligibility Criteria for Post Basic BSc Nursing:

Educational Qualification: The candidates passed in Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination in or before 1986, from a recognised University or board, are eligible to apply for JCECEB Post Basic BSc Nursing Entrance exam.

• The candidates should have obtained a certificate in general nursing and Midwifery and registered as RNRM with state nurse registration council.

Domicile: The candidate must be a Jharkhand State Domicile.

Eligibility for Male Candidates:  A male candidate trained in any of the following areas is eligible to apply for admission in Post Basic BSc Nursing through JCECEB entrance test:

• OT Technique
• Ophthalmic Nursing
• TB nursing
• Cancer Nursing
• Orthopaedic Nursing
• Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing
• Psychiatric nursing
• Leprosy nursing
• Community health nursing

However, the following candidates will be given priority for selection for admission in JCECEB Post Basic BSc Nursing Admission in RIMS ranchi.:

• The candidates worked as a grade nurse in any government service.
• “A” grade Nurse who worked under a state government while following a contract will be given priority.
• “A” grade Nurse in a non-government institute.

The candidates want to appear in JCECEB BSc Nursing admission entrance exam for RIMS Ranchi have to submit JCECE BSc Nursing application form before 20 July. • STEP 1: The candidates have to visit the official website directly or by clicking on the link given above.
• STEP 2: Now the candidates have to select an option to fill the online application form. Now the candidates have to read the instruction given there and proceed for filling the application form.
• STEP 3: Now the candidates have to fill the online application form by providing basic personal details, educational details, residential eligibility, annual family income, address, contact details, etc. After that, the candidates have to select the program they are applying for, 1^st choice of exam city and have to enter a security pin. After that, the candidates have to click submit button.
• STEP 4: Now the candidates have to upload the scanned copy of the following image in JPG format in one go:
  • Recent passport size color photograph
  • Signature
  • Left thumb impression
• STEP 5: Now the candidates have to make payment of the application form using a debit card, credit card or net banking. The candidates have to select Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking option to pay the JCECEB application fee and follow the instruction to complete the payment process.

JCECE BSc Nursing Application Submission

The candidates wishing to appear in JCECEB Nursing admission entrance exam have to fill the application form only through online mode on the official website of Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). After filling the application form and making payment of it, the candidates must download and take a printout of it.

The candidates will use it for all future reference. The candidates have not to send a print copy of filled application form via post. JCECEB BSc Nursing Application Forms submitted in online mode will be accepted until the last week of June 2018.

JCECE BSc Nursing Admit Card 2018

JCECE BSc Nursing Admit Card will be available only for those eligible candidates who will submit their duly filled application form before the due date. JCECE BSc Nursing 2018 admit card will be available 4 days prior to the entrance test. Candidate's name and details, exam centre details, date and time of exam along with general guidelines will be provided in JCECE BSc Nursing hall ticket. The candidates can download the admit card by following the link given below. The admit card will not be dispatched through the post to the candidates, so no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Admit Card is an important document to be carried at the exam centre.

The candidates applying to appear in in JCECEB Nursing admission entrance exam have to pay the application fee as under. The candidates can pay the application form via Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking option.

The candidates will be selected for admission in Basic BSc Nursing or Post Basic BSc Nursing on the basis of JCECEB Nursing admission entrance exam which will be held on the second week of July 2018. The examination conducting body will prepare a combined merit list and category wise merit list on the basis of performance of the candidates in entrance tests. The seats will be allotted on the basis of merit position and preference of the candidate. In the case of equal marks of 2 or more candidates, the elder candidates will be offered a seat.
