Karnataka MBBS Admission 2018 will be done by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on the basis of NEET scores. Aspirants who are included in Karnataka MBBS merit list are eligible to enter their choices for counselling. Karnataka MBBS option entry has begun for counselling round 1. As per the MCI Latest News on Karnataka MBBS Admission 2018. The admissions will be based on the NEET Scores followed by the counselling process conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). As per the order of the Supreme Court of India, the Karnataka Examination Authority invites the admission based on NEET 2018 Scores for the admission to MBBS and BDS Courses.

Karnataka MBBS/ BDS Eligibility criteria
- Academic Qualification: The candidates applying for the admission to the MBBS/ BDS course should have passed the Class 12/ 2nd PUC or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages.
- The candidates should have obtained minimum 50% marks (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects.
- Qualifying Examination for MBBS/ BDS Admission: The candidates must compulsorily qualify in the NEET 2018 exam conducted by CBSE Board. And register online on the website of KEA to be eligible for the state level counselling.
Karnataka MBBS/ BDS Application form and Admit Card
The candidates applying for the admission to the MBBS/ BDS course to the Karnataka State must have appeared in the NEET Exam. As because only then the candidates will be considered eligible for the admission in Medical and Dental courses. The application process for the NEET aspirants is available from 15 June 2018.

To be eligible for the admission to the MBBS / BDS colleges located in Karnataka State, The candidates must register themselves on the official website of KEA by following the link which will be updated soon on this page. The candidates are suggested to follow the steps below in order to elude the mistakes while filling up the form.
STEP 1: Candidates have to register, the candidates are required to visit the official website of Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and select “Online Registration for NEET Appeared Candidates" or directly follow the given link to get registration screen.
STEP 2: After then, the candidates have to select the section of the "New User Registration" to register themselves for the NEET 2018 State Counselling. The candidates have to click on “New User? Click Here to Register” on the home page of online application form.
STEP 3: After the successful completion of the information the candidates will receive the User ID and Password on their registered Email Id. After login again using the login credentials the candidates have to upload their required documents in the required format.
STEP 4: Now the candidates have to pay the registration fee for the Karnataka MBBS counselling. The candidates have to pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of specified Banks / e-Post Office. The Bank / e-Post Office will retain their copy of the Challan respectively and handover the remaining two copies of the Challan to the candidates.
STEP 5: After the successful payment of the Karnataka MBBS Registration the candidates are required to take the printout of the application form and affix their passport size photograph, Thumb Impression and their signature.
STEP 6: Afterwards students have to obtain Principal seal and signature from the college where they have studied 2nd PU or 12th Standard in the space provided in the printed form. The same copy should be produced during document verification along with the copy of the Challan (KEA Copy).
Submission of the Registration Form
The candidates have to submit the application form after checking the details filled by them are correct in all aspect and then make the final submission as the candidates need to know that once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to change the details of the application form. The registration form is to be submitted in online mode only, however, the candidates are required to submit the registration fee for the Karnataka MBBS Counselling registration.
Karnataka MBBS/ BDS Fees
The application fees are different for all the categories to appear in the Karnataka State NEET counselling. The candidates belonging to the respective categories must pay their application fee accordingly. The candidates have to pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of specified Banks / E-Post Office, The application fee cannot be paid via online modes.

Karnataka MBBS/ BDS Result and Counselling
The admission in the medical college of the Karnataka will be done on the basis of NEET scores. The candidates based on their NEET will be called for the counselling process. This year the counselling for the 15% All India Seats will be conducted for the admission to Government and Deemed Institutions only and the rest 85% MBBS Sears are to be filled on the basis of the State Counselling conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority).
The selection will be based purely on the basis of merit of the candidates in NEET 2018 Exam. The admission to the Government seats shall be made in accordance with the Karnataka Government. The details for the year 2018 will be released soon. Meanwhile, the candidates are suggested to go through the previous year's schedule.

The document verification of the candidates will be conducted in the Only at Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Shimoga, Davangere, Belgaum, Dharwad, Bellary and Gulbarga Helpline Centres, while the candidates who are from Non-Karnataka and NRI categories will have to get their documents verified at the Bangalore helpline centre as per their schedule, given above in the table.
- Those eligible candidates who were unable to register can now register on or before 26 February 2018. Candidates are not allowed to participate in the verification unless they register themselves for Verification.
- Candidates can also pay the fees in the form of Demand Draft, which can be submitted on the day of verification as per the above schedule.
