About DU Entrance Exam
DU Entrance Exam 2018 for UG Admission page is mainly to provide information on the entrance examination conducted by the University of Delhi for admission into selected UG programs for the academic session 2018-19. These programs are offered by the top colleges of the University of Delhi. The final schedule of DU Entrance Exam 2018 for UG, PG, M.Phil & PhD programmes has been released by the University. Earlier, the university released the tentative schedule which has been revised now. DU Entrance Test for all these programmes will be held from 17 to 22 June 2018 in three different slots. The online admission process for both DU merit-based programmes and UG Entrance Based Programmes which has started from 15 May 2018, will close on 7 June 2018. From this year onwards, the students seeking admission DU Entrance Exam 2018 for UG Admission application form can be submitted online mode from the same web portal of the University of Delhi. Delhi University administration has decided to conduct entrance test for admission for a few selected regular undergraduate programs namely:

Latest Update - DU Entrance Exam Admit Card 2018 has been released.
- For the first time in the history of the Delhi University, the admission to 9 UG courses and All PG, M.Phill and PhD Courses will be conducted on the basis of the Online Entrance Test which is scheduled to be conducted in 18 Cities spread across India.
- For B. A. (Hons.) Music, entrance examination will be based on practical admission entrance test, which will be held in the Department of Music, Faculty of Music & Fine Arts, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007.
DU Entrance Exam New Update
The dates of DU JAT are clashing with the DU sports trial for 10 games. This has made the students worried about missing out one of the events. Many of the parents and students have suggested that the University should have prepared the schedule keeping every situation in mind. However, the University officials have said that they were aware of the issue and will allow students to give the trials after they complete their paper.

DU Entrance Exams for UG Courses (Final Dates)
Delhi University has released the schedule for DU Entrance Exams for UG course. The Delhi University Entrance Exams for UG admission will be held from 17 to 22 June 2018. This year, the candidates will be admitted to the 9 of its UG courses (given in the table below) on the basis of the Online Entrance Test. The candidates who want to get admission in the course below have to apply separately through online mode. DU Entrance Exam Application form and Admit Card
The applications for the DU Entrance Exams will be different for the different courses, The candidates have to apply for the entrance test. The Delhi University has started the registration process from 15 May 2018 (6:00 PM onwards. The candidates can fill the application form until 7 June 2018 (till 11:59 PM). The common link to register for the entrance based programmes, as well as merit-based programmes, is given below so the candidates can register to appear in the DU Entrance test by following the link below. Steps to Fill the Application form for DU Entrance based programmes
- STEP 1: The candidates want to appear in the entrance test conducted by DU for admission in any of the courses have to register themselves on the official website of Delhi University and make themselves.
- STEP 2: After the completion of the email id and login credentials, the candidates have to log in to the official website of DU with the same login credentials. There the candidates have to fill the required details in each and every section of the form.
- STEP 3: To fill an online application form, the candidates have to fill the required details in the given section of the application form provided. The candidates havetofill the following details:
- Personal Details: In this section of the DU application form, the candidates have to fill the contact details, upload photographs, and signature etc.
- Education Details: The candidates in this section have to fill the academic-related details such as Name of the Board that conducted Class 12 examination, Board roll number, and other relevant details.
- Course Selection: In this section of the application form, the candidates have to do the selection of the course and have to check their eligibility to pursue that course.
- STEP 4: After filling the application form, the candidates have to make the payment of the application form. The application would be considered successful only after the payment of the application fee.

- Passport size photograph of the candidates in the following size and format
- Size: 25 to 50 kb; width & height 50-250 pixel each
- Format: (JPG/ JPEG/ PNG)
- Signature of the candidates in the following size and format
- Size: 25 to 50 KB; width 30-250 px; height 30-80 px
- Format: (JPG/ JPEG/ PNG)
- Self-attested copy of Identity Proof of the applicant with the size of 25 to 50kb and in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format.
- Self-attested copy of Class 10 Certificate with the size of 100 KB in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG/ PDF format.
- Self-attested copy of Class 12 Marksheet with the size of 100 KB in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG/ PDF.
- Self-attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/CW/PwD/Minority Certificate with the size of 100 KB in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG/ PDF format.
Submission of the Application Fee
The candidates filling the application form to appear in the entrance conducted by the DU should be careful. The candidates have to fill out all the section of the form correctly and cross-check the application form before the payment of the application fee.
The Delhi University does not allow the candidates to do the correction or edit the application form after the submission of the form.
DU Entrance Exam Admit Card 2018
The candidates should know that the admit card is now available for the candidates to download. The admit card has been released on 15 June 2018. Delhi Univesity has uploaded the admit card only for the DU entrance exam scheduled to be conducted on 17 and 18 June 2018. For other exams, the DU entrance exam admit card will be released shortly. The candidates should know that the admit card will not be dispatched through the post to the candidates, so no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Admit Card is an important document to be carried at the exam centre.
DU Entrance Exam Fees
The candidates applying for appearing in the entrance test have to pay the application fee as under. The application form will be submitted and filed in online mode only by the candidates, There will be no offline mode for the form submission. DU Entrance Exam Result and Counselling
- The candidates who have applied and appeared in the entrance examination would be selected for admission mainly on the basis of score in written test.
- In maximum UG programs, final admission would be made on the basis of score in written test, group discussion and personal interview.
- The merit list for admission will be prepared on the basis of 85% of weightage in written examination and 15% of weightage in group discussion and interview.
- The candidates who are qualified for the written test, group discussion and interview will be selected for admission through the counselling process.
- The candidates selected for counselling will have to appear in the counselling process at the University campus on the day mentioned in the table of important dates.
DU Entrance Test Centres 2018
The DU Entrance Test will be conducted in the online as well as in offline mode. From which, the Online Entrance Exam will be conducted in the selected 18 cities spread across the country and the Offline Entrance Test is conducted only in the Delhi NCR Region for all candidates. - All the questions will be multiple choice questions
- Syllabus: There is no prescribed syllabus or format for the entrance test
- Total Questions: 100
- The answers are to be marked by blue or black ballpoint pen on a separate OMR answer sheet
