BIT Mesra Integrated MSc Admission 2018: 5 Year Integrated Course

BIT Mesra Integrated MSc Admission 2018 in Chemistry, Food Technology, Mathematics & Computing and Physics application process will start on 3 May 2018. Integrated M.Sc. is a 5 Year [10 Semester] course in which the students passing their class 12 are eligible for the admission after qualifying the certain eligibility criteria laid down by BIT Mesra. The exit option is also available for the students admitted to the integrated course at BIT Mesra, Such candidates will be given BSc Degree after completion of their 6 Semester (3 Years). The last date of BIT Mesra Integrated MSc Admission 2018 application submission will be in the third week of June 2018 and the academic session 2018-19 will begin from July 2018 onwards in the main campus of BIT Mesra.

BIT Mesra Integrated MSc Streams and Seats Distribution

The 50% of total seats are reserved for candidates who have passed their qualifying examination (Class 12) from Jharkhand State. Up to 1 seat may be allotted to candidates who are Sons or Daughters of Kashmiri Migrant who otherwise have qualified for admissions. Duration of Integrated MSc course is 5 Years and 10 Semesters.

Age Criteria

Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1 October 1992 in the case of General category and 1 October 1987 in the case of SC/ST/PwD are eligible for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board Class X (High School) certificate only will be considered as authentic.

Academic Qualification

Those candidates are eligible, who cleared 12 Class or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and having at least 60% (50% for SC/ST/PwD) marks in average of 4 subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. At any level of the studies [Class X or Class XII], a candidate/ applicant must have passed all the required subjects at that level from the same Board.

BIT Mesra MSc application form will be filled and submitted through online mode only. Candidates should submit legitimate and accurate information in the application form. Candidates are suggested that before final submission of application form, make sure about their filled details because once it submitted there will be no changes allowed to do. Steps to Fill the BIT Mesra Application Form

STEP 1: Before filling the application form, candidates have to get them registered first by submitting their general details such as Name, DOB, Gender, etc. After registration, candidates will be allowed to open the application form through their username & password.

STEP 2: Candidates have to submit their academic details such as university name, percentage, subjects, etc.

STEP 3: If candidates have any work experience, so they can submit their employment details in this section.

STEP 4: Candidates have to submit their mailing & permanent address as well as their contact number in the application form.

STEP 5: Candidates must upload their recent passport size photograph in JPEG (.jpg) format only. Photograph size must be less than or equal to 10Kb.

STEP 6: If candidates satisfy with their submitted details, so they can save these details or can generate the application number. Once application number is generated, there will be no changes allowed.

STEP 7: Candidates have to pay the application fee through Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking etc.

STEP 8: Candidates must take a printout of their Application Form and required to send it along with required enclosures to office of the Dean Admission (BIT MESRA) by the due date.

Submission of BIT Mesra Integrated MSc Application Form

BIT Mesra MSc Application Form will be submitted through online mode only on or before the last date of the submission. Candidates should check their filled details on the application form before final submission because no change will be allowed after submission. Candidates must take a printout of their Application Form for their future references. No application will be accepted if submitted after the due date.

Payment of BIT Mesra Integrated MSc Application Fee

The application payment is accepted in online as well as in offline mode, The candidates have to pay the application fee via State Bank Collect or Via Debit Card/Credit Card. The application form must be drawn in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”. The fee once submitted will not be refunded under any circumstance.

BIT Mesra MSc Course Fee Structure

Hostel Fee: Hostel mess charges will range from approximately Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 3,000 per month. Students will be required to deposit Hostel Caution Money* (One Time only - Refundable) of Rs. 5,000. They will also be required to pay suitable mess advance at the beginning of each semester, which will be adjusted against their mess charges.

The selection of candidates will be made on merit based on marks obtained by the candidates in Class 12 / equivalent qualifying examination. Candidates have to produce the required documents at the time of verification. The list of the selected candidates will be released within the week of the application submission of the candidates. The list of the selected candidates of Round 1 will be uploaded on this page as soon as it is available officially. Listed below are the documents required for the counselling. Without original of documents/certificates, no candidates will be permitted to appear for the admission cum documents verification

• Pass Certificate of Class X,
• Marksheets of Class X and Class XII
• Caste or Special Category certificates in proper format signed by appropriate authority
• Candidates belonging to other special categories mentioned in Sec 5 (Persons with Disability
• [PwD] / Kashmiri Migrant) must provide a photocopy of the certificate in proper format from the appropriate authority.
