OUCET 2018 (Osmania University Common Entrance Test) result has been declared by Osmania University. Candidates can get their Osmania University result by clicking on the link mentioned below. Aspirants who have registered themselves can download their score card. OUCET 2018 was conducted from 4 to 13 June 2018. OUCET 2018 Dates

Eligibility Criteria for 5 Years Integrated Programs: The candidates who are passed in Inter (+2) or Equivalent from any recognised board in India with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for PG programs: The candidates who want to appear in the OUCET 2018 examination for admission into their desired post-graduation program at Osmania University must have graduation degree from any recognised college, university or institute in India. The candidates who are waiting for the final result of their qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for PhD programs: To be eligible for PhD/M. Phil program, the candidates should have completed PG degree in the related subject from any recognised University or colleges in India. The candidates who are waiting for the final result of their qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

Steps to Fill OUCET 2018 Application Form

Sometimes while filling the application form, the candidates get tangled while providing the details for some sections which makes them make an error on the application form. Thus, the steps to fill the application form is provided to the candidates which they should follow while filling up the application form.

STEP 1: Making Payment of Application Fee

• Now the candidates have to make payment of OUCET 2018 application fee. The candidates can pay the application fee of Rs. 700 using any Debit Card, net banking (SBI/HDFC/Others) but the candidates have to choose payment gateway during filling the application form. The candidates using option all credit can pay by debit card or net banking.

STEP 2: Registration

• To fill the application form, the candidates have to first register themselves. The candidates can register themselves by entering their name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, SSC Hall ticket Number, SSC board, SSC month and year of passing, mobile number, email id, category, qualifying exam, the number of subjects applying for, selection of payment gateway. Now the candidates have to click register button given there.

STEP 3: Uploading Images/Files

• The candidates have to now upload required documents there. A scanned copy of the latest passport size photograph of the applicants and scanned copy of their signature has to be uploaded now. Scanned copy of photograph and signature must fulfil the size and dimension criteria mentioned there.

STEP 4: Filling the Application Form

• Now the candidates have to fill the application form. The candidates have to now enter their basic personal details, educational details, contact details, address, selection of program applying for, selection of exam centres. After filling all the details in the application form, the candidates have to preview it because they will not be allowed the make any changes after successful submission of the application form.

Submission of the Application Form

The candidates after filling up the application form need to submit the form in order to complete the application process. However, the candidates are suggested to ensure the details filled by the candidates in the application form are correct in all aspect. After successful submission of the online application form, the candidates will have to note down the registration ID because it will be used for all future references. 

The candidates also have to take a print out of it and keep it safe for the future references. The candidates have not to send it via post to the address of Osmania University.

OUCET Hall Ticket Download - Admit Card 2018

OUCET 2018 Admit Card has been made available to download the same one week before the date of entrance examination. After downloading the exam hall ticket/admit card, the candidates have to affix a passport size photograph (exactly a similar one which was uploaded during filling the online application form) in the space given there and the candidates also have to sign on it. The candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without OUCET 2018 admit card.

The candidates applying for appearing in OUCET 2018 entrance examination have to make payment of the application fee as per the detail is given following:

OUCET 2018 Entrance Examination conducted for admission into the various program offered at Osmania University and the entrance examination conducted in the particular subjects related to the course applying for. The candidates are selected for the admission into the program they have applied mainly on the basis of their performance in the OUCET 2018 entrance examination. For admission in some courses, the candidates will have to appear in Interview which will also be conducted at Osmania University campus.

The candidates who qualify in the OUCET Entrance Examination will be admitted in the course they have applied through the process of web-based counselling, The OUCET Counselling dates have not yet available officially but as soon as it is available. The candidates who are allotted seat a provisional admission will have attend for certificate verification at the university campus with the following original certificates along with 2 photocopies of it:

• Common Entrance Test Rank Card
• Transfer certificate (T.C.)
• Original Certificate (or provisional certificate if the original is not yet issued as per rules) of the qualifying examination
• Common Entrance Test Hall Ticket
• Consolidated Memorandum of Marks of the qualifying examination
• Proof of Local/Non-Local status of the candidates
• Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) / 10th Std. certificate
• Relevant original certificates in respect of candidates seeking admission to NCC/ NSS/ Sports, Widow/Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) etc
• Income certificate
• Community Certificate for SC, ST and BC candidates

The candidates appearing in the entrance test will have to follow the exam pattern as mentioned below:

• The total duration of exam: 90 Minutes
• Total number of questions: 100 Questions
• Total marks: 100 Marks
• Question type: Objective type (multiple choice questions)
• Variety of question type: Analogies, classification, matching and comprehension
• Negative Marking: No

OUCET 2018 Reservation Criteria

85% seats in each course are reserved for the local candidates and the remaining 15% seats are open to local and non-local candidates. The following reservation criteria will be applied to fill the total number of seats available in each subject for the reserved categories. Apart from this, the 33% of the seats are reserved for the women candidates.

• OBC- 29%
