BPT CET 2018 for SVNIRTAR, NIEPMD, NILD Admission into 4 years full-time bachelor’s programs namely Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT), Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics (BPO) at three Institutes SVNIRTAR, Cuttack, NILD Kolkata and NIEPMD Chennai. CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training & Research (SVNIRTAR) every year. The candidates who are passed in class 12 examinations are eligible to apply for BPT CET 2018 for SVNIRTAR, NIEPMD, NILD and the admission will be conducted on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the Common Entrance Test. Courses Offered by BPT CET 2018 for SCNIRTAR, NILD and NIEPMD Admission

Educational Qualification: The candidates who are passed in Higher/Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) I. Sc. or equivalent examination from a recognised board/university with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% for SC/ST & PH candidates).

• Candidates who have appeared in the given above qualifying exams and their results are awaited can also apply for the BPT CET Exam. However such candidates have to produce the mark sheets of the qualifying exam at the time of the admission.

Age: The candidates who are born on 1 January 1997 and 31 December 2000 are eligible to apply for admission in BPT program through CET. The Candidates belongs to SC, ST and PH category must be born between 1 January 1992 and 31 December 2000.

The candidates who wish to appear in the common entrance test CET will have to fill an application form which is available here and also on the official website of CET examination conducting body at https://www.niohkol.nic.in. • STEP 1: First, the candidates have to download CET offline application. Thereafter, the candidates have to read the instruction given on the application form carefully.
• STEP 2: Now the candidates have to fill the application. The candidates have to provide the details such as the name of the candidates, category, gender, nationality, date of birth, preference centre code,  Year of Passing class 10 and 12.
• STEP 3: Percentage of Marks in class 10 and 12, Aadhar number, address, the name of the guardian. Now the candidates have to sign the application form.
• STEP 4: Payment: The candidates have to now provide details of the bank draft of the application fee like bank draft number, date and amount.
• STEP 5: Now the candidates have to fill the Provisional Admit Card form for CET. The candidates have to write their name, age, gender, address and have to sign on it.
• STEP 6: Paste Photograph: now the candidates have to paste their latest colour passport size photograph at the given space in the application form and admit card form.

BPT CET 2018 Admit Card

The candidates who have successfully submitted offline application form will be able to download their CET 2018 Admit Card on the official website SVNIRTAR at https://www.niohkol.nic.in. and the same will be available on the link given below as on 2 June 2018. The candidates filling the CET application form have to make payment of the application fee through bank draft of any recognised Indian bank. The candidates have to pay the application fee as under:

BPT Course Fee Structure for SVNIRTAT, NILD and NIEPMD

The candidates who clear the common entrance test (CET) and selected for admission into BPT program at any of the 3 campuses have to pay the same annual course fee for all 3 campuses as under:

The candidates will be selected for admission in BPT program at any of the 3 institutes on the basis of marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test which is scheduled to be held in July 2018. A Merit list/ Waiting list will be released on the official website on the basis of marks obtained in CET. Admission to BPT program will be strictly made on the basis of merit list prepared by the conducting body. The selected candidates are advised to appear for counselling.

In the case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the BPT CET 2018, the following criteria will be followed:

1. The candidates getting higher marks for Biology/ Mathematics in CET-18 shall rank higher in the merit list.
2. The candidates getting higher marks for Biology/ Mathematics in CET-18 shall rank higher in the merit list.
3. In the case of a tie in (1) above, the candidates securing higher marks in Chemistry in CET-17 shall rank higher.
4. In the case of a tie in (1 & 2) above, then the candidate getting higher marks in Physics in CET- 17 shall rank higher.
5. In the case of a tie in (1), (2) & (3) above, the candidate who has got higher marks in 10+2 will rank higher.
6. In the case of a tie in (1), (2), (3) & (4) above, the elder candidate will rank higher.

BPT CET 2018 Counselling for admission in SVNIRTAR, NILD and NIEPMD

The first round of counselling for admission will be conducted in August 2018. The candidates will have to report at Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training & Research (SVNIRTAR) Olatpur on 9:00 AM.

Documents required at BPT CET 2018 Counselling

During the time of counselling, the candidates have to bring the following original documents:

• Original Admit Card of CET and Counseling letter.  
• Date of birth (Secondary School/Matriculation Certificate/Admit Card) issued by the affiliating board.
• Certificate and mark sheet of the qualifying examination issued by the Board/University.
• Conduct and Character Certificate from the head of the Institution from where the qualifying examination was passed or from the principal of the college/school where the candidate has studied last.
• Certificate of medical fitness to be signed by a Govt. Medical Officer.
• SC/ST certificate or Physically Handicapped certificate from appropriate authorities on the basis of which reservation is claimed. The concerned Institute may constitute a medical board to assess disability/eligibility of the candidate to pursue the said course. No SEBC certificate will be accepted. OBC certificate (Non-Creamy layer) issued in Govt. of India format only within one year as on date of counselling will be accepted.
• Migration certificate in original from the respective regular School/University where he/she has studied last to be submitted as per requirement of University.
• Nationality/Domicile or Residence Certificate issued by Competent Authority.
• Gap year certificate, if applicable.

The candidates appearing in the BPT CET  for SVNIRTAR, NIEPMD, NILD Admission will have to follow the examination pattern as mentioned below:

• The total number of questions: 100
• The total duration of the test: 2 hours
• Question type: Multiple questions
• Negative marking: No
• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics
• Distribution of Marks: 30 marks in each subject Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics and 10 marks for General Ability & General Knowledge.

 Candidates who are appearing in the BPT CET Exam must have to choose a test centre at the time of filling the application form. There are 27 cities across the country where the BPT CET Exam is conducted and the same are listed below in the table. Each exam city might have multiple test centres based on the number of candidates.
