TSICET Eligibility criteria
Nationality: The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/ non-local status requirements laid down in the Telangana State Educational Institutions.
Academic Qualification
- For MBA: The candidates should have passed the recognised Bachelors Degree Examinations of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in case of reserved category in the qualifying examination.
- For MCA: The candidates should have passed the recognised Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks and 45 % marks in case of reserved category in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
- The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by the joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB.
- The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TSICET 2018.
- Candidates other than Indian Nationals should make sure that they satisfy the eligibility rules of the Universities/Institute they aim to take admission
TSICET Application form and Admit Card
The application process for the TSICET has started from 6 March 2018. The candidates seeking admission in MBA and MCA course need to fill the application form on or before the due date. Although, the candidates do have the option to fill the form until May 2018 for which they have to pay the extra amount as in late fee. The details about the same are given towards the end of this page.

Instructions to fill TSICET Application Form 2018
The candidates are provided with the steps and instructions to fill the TSICET application form to ease the difficulties faced by the candidates while filling the application form. Therefore, the candidates are suggested to follow the steps below and fill the application form.
STEP 1- Payment and Verification of the Application Fee
- The candidates willing to appear in the TSICET have to visit the official website by following the link given above. After that, they have to click on the "Apply Online" link to start the process of filling the application form.
- After clicking on "Apply Online" button, the web page for "Registration Fee Payment Procedure" in which the candidates have to make the payment of the application fee.
- After paying the application fee, a web page of the "Payment Verification" will appear and the candidates are required to fill the details in respective fields to proceed further to fill the application form.
STEP 2 - Filling up the TSICET Application Form
- After paying the application fee for TSICET, the candidates are required to fill the TSICET application form further.
- To fill the application form, the candidates are required to fill the details mentioned below:
- Candidate Details: In this section, the candidates need to fill the basic such as Candidate's Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, Gender etc.
- Qualifying Examination: In this section, the candidates have to fill in the details related to the qualifying exam such as Passed and year of passing, Hall Ticket No of Qualifying Exam etc.
- After filling up the details mentioned above, the candidates need to fill the details like Choice of Regional Center of Entrance Test, Category, Local Area Status, Correspondence Address etc.
Payment of the TSICET Application Fee
The payment of the TSICET application fee can be done by two methods which are thoroughly mentioned below. The candidates should know that the application fee should be paid only once by any of the method
TS Online/ AP Online/ mee-Seva (e-Seva): The first mode to make the payment of the application fee is through TS Online/ AP Online/ mee-Seva (e-Seva).
- In this mode, the candidates need to visit the centres of the TS Online/ AP Online/ e-Seva with the required documents and pay the requisite fee and ensure that it contains the Transaction Id.
- The candidates then need to login to the official website using that Transaction id and have to verify the payment.
Debit/ Credit Card: The another mode to make the payment of the application fee is Debit/ Credit Card in which the candidates need to click on the "Make Payment" and have to pay the requisite fees
- After making the payment, the transaction id will be generated and the candidates should proceed further.
Submission of TSICET Application Form 2018
After paying the application fee and filling up the application form, the candidates need to submit the application form ONLINE only. Candidates are advised to check the details of the application form and then make the final submission as the candidates need to know that once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to change the details of the application form.
After the successful submission of the application form, the candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference. The details of the candidates and the Registration id will appear on the right-hand side of the form.
Correction in TSICET Application Form 2018
Only some fields (excluding Regional Test Centre) can be edited by writing a request letter with relevant proofs addressing CONVENER, TSICET-2018. The candidates can alternatively send an e-mail to convenertsicet2018@gmail.com.
TSICET Hall Ticket 2018
TSICET Hall Ticket 2018 will be available to download for the website from 7 May 2018 onwards only for those eligible candidates who have submitted their duly filled application forms before the due date. Admit card will not be dispatched through the post to the candidates, so no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
Candidates are advised to check the details like name of the students, exam centre, exam dates etc. on the printed admit card. Hall Ticket is an important document to be carried at the exam centre.
TSICET Fees
Application Fee is different for the general and the reserved category. The candidates belonging to the respective categories must pay their application fee according to their category. The application fee can be paid via two modes which have already been discussed above. The Application fee once paid by the candidates is non-refundable.

TSICET Result and Counselling
Before the declaration of the result, the TSICET Answer Keys will be released and the students will be given an opportunity to submit any kind of objections regarding the answer key. Later on, the result will be declared. The date of declaration of the result is 6 June 2018
After the declaration of the result, the selection process will start by the University. The qualifying marks in TSICET 2018 exam is 25%. However, no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates. The selection of the candidates will be based on the two factors mentioned below.
- Qualifying Marks: Qualifying Mark for TSICET is 25% (no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ ST)
- Ranking: The ranking will be prepared on the state-wise marks and the candidates will be admitted for the courses accordingly.
Re-checking of TSICET OMR Sheets
Rank obtained in TSICET 2018 will be valid for admission into MBA/ MCA Course of all universities in Telangana State for the academic year 2018 - 19 only. The university will evaluate the test without any errors, scrutiny, tabulation and ranking.
However, if candidates want to request for re-verification of OMR Sheet will be considered on payment of Rs. 1,000 by Demand Draft has drawn in favour of the Convener. TSICET 2018 (payable at Warangal drawn on any Nationalized Bank), within fifteen days from the date of declaration of results. After this date, no request will be considered.
In case of a Tie
The TSICET exam will be held in the third week of May 2018 and the candidates will be selected on the basis of the result. However, if the candidates scored equal marks then the tie would be broken as follows:
- By considering the marks scored in Section-A
- If the tie continues, marks obtained by a student in Section-B will be taken into consideration.
- If the tie still continues, the tie will be resolved by taking into account the age of the candidate giving the older candidate Priority.

TSICET Counselling 2018
TSICET Counselling schedule will be released after the declaration of result. The candidates who will qualify in TSICET 2018 will be called for allotment of seats. Following is the list of documents(along with two sets of photocopies) that must be carried during the counselling schedule.

TSICET Syllabus 2018
The test is designed to measure the candidate's ability to think systematically, to use the verbal and mathematical skills and to assess his/her aptitude for admission into MBA/MCA programme. There are three subjects and each subject carries the topics which are given below.
Analytical Ability: The analytical ability has two topics from which the question in the TSICET will be asked.

Mathematical Ability: The mathematical ability has three topics from which the question in the TSICET exam will be asked
- Arithmetical Ability
- Algebraical and Geometrical Ability
- Statistical Ability
Communication Ability: In this subject, there are four topics included. The topics are mentioned below.

- Business and Computer Terminology
- Functional Grammar
- Reading Comprehension
