HP NLET 2018 for NLU Shimla Admission: Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU) conducts its own entrance exam for admission into UG/PG courses in Law. HP NLET 2018 - NLU Shimla Dates

Eligibility for Undergraduate Programs at NLU Shimla: The candidates must be passed in class 12 or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks (45% for the candidates belongs to SC/ST Categories). The candidates who are going to appear in class 12 examination this year are also eligible to apply for HP NLET.

Age- The candidates must be below 20 years of age (22 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/ SAP categories) as on 1 July 2018.

Eligibility for Post-Graduate Programs at NLU Shimla: The candidates seek admission in post-graduate programs must be passed in LL. B (3 years/5 years) program or equivalent with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST categories). The candidates appearing in LL. B final year examination this year are also eligible to apply for HP NLET.

The candidates aspiring to enroll in Ph. D. The programme must have LL. M degree or equivalent with minimum 55% marks. Final year students are also eligible to apply for HP NLET 2018.

The candidate wants to appear in the HP NLET 2018 have to apply online. Application form can be submitted online following the link on this page by 17 April 2018. To successful submit the HP NLET 2018 application form; the candidates have to follow the steps given below:

STEP 1: Filling the Application Form
The candidates have to click on the register button for apply online. Now the candidates have to fill the application form for HP NLET examination by providing the details such as candidate’s name, gender, email, contact no, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, address, nationality, residential details, and qualification details. The candidates also have to select the program they wish to get admission in.

STEP 2: Uploading Photograph and Signature
Now the candidates have to upload scanned copy of their recent coloured passport size photograph & Signature in JPG/JPEG format. Now the candidates have to proceed for payment of the application form. Now the candidates have to click on register button so they can proceed to “Application Locker” which is for making payment of the application fee.

STEP 3: Payment of HP NLET Application Fee
The candidates have to make payment of the application fee through online payment systems such as Credit Card/Debit Card or Net banking, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees. The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. There will be no other mode to pay the application fee. After successful payment of the application fee, the candidates will receive a confirmation message via mail.  

HP NLET 2018 Application Submission

Application form can be submitted only through online mode on the official website of HP NLET till the last date i.e. 17 April 2018. After payment of the application fee, the candidates will receive application submission acknowledgment via mail. The candidates have to print the acknowledgment page for future references.  The candidates have not to send hard copy of any documents via post.

HP NLET Admit Card 2018

HP NLET Admit Card was available for download from 27 April 2018. Admit card is a mandatory document that candidates are required to carry to the examination hall. When available, the candidates can download their Admit card by following the link given below:

HP NLET Application Fee can be paid through online payment mode only, the candidates who wish to apply for HP NLET can pay the application fee via Credit Card/Debit Card or Net banking. HP NLET Application Fee is different across the category, the following is the application fee for General, OBC, SC, ST and PWD candidates.

• The candidates will be selected for admission to the program for they have applied on the basis of HP NLET 2018 entrance examination
• HP NLET 2018 Result for the UG/PG course has been declared on 2 June 2018 and the candidates will be issued a letter for the admission to the program for which they will be selected.
