UPES MBA Entrance 2018: UPES MET

UPES MBA Entrance 2018 is an offline pen and paper based exam conducted for the admissions to the MBA Course from University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES MBA). The examination will be held on 11 March 2018. Applicants can apply online for the admission to the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies below this page, there will be two modes to apply for the admissions in UPES MBA, applicants can apply via UPES MET 2018 or on the basis of the scores of CAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT/NMAT. About UPES Admission 2018

UPES University of Petroleum and Energy Studies located in Dehradun, India famous for its studies and researchers towards the Energy and Power Sectors. Applicants can apply for the admissions to the University for the session of 2018-19 via given below entrance tests.

Educational Qualification: The candidates must be passed in graduation and the candidates should have secured minimum 50% in class 10, 12, and graduation. The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation examination are also eligible to apply. The candidates placed in a compartment are not eligible for admission to any program of study in the University.

Candidates who want to get admission in MBA program in the fields of "Oil & Gas Management / Logistics & Supply Chain Management / Power Management / Energy Trading / International Business" must have required percentile in the following qualifying exams.

UPES MBA Online Application Process

STEP 1: First, the candidates have to click on the link to visit the official website and then the candidates have to choose the status- Indian Resident or Foreign Resident.

STEP 2: Then the candidates have to sign up to buy the application form and prospectus. The candidates can sign up by entering the basic personal detail such as their name, date of birth, father’s name, etc.

STEP 3: On submission, the candidates will receive an email on the registered email id filled in the Signup Form and the candidates have to click on the link provided in the email id filled in the sign-up form.

STEP 4: Now the candidates have to fill the application form carefully. The candidates will have to provide their basic personal and education details and also have to attach their photograph.

STEP 5: Finally, Applicants have to pay the application fee via any of the modes given below, and it is advised to save the copy or the confirmation page for future references.

The candidates will be selected in the MBA program at UPES on the basis of their MAT 2018 or CMAT 2017 or XAT 2018 or CAT 2017 or NMAT 2017 or GMAT 2018 or UPES MET 2018 score, educational background, Group discussion and personal interview.  First, the candidate will be shortlisted first for group discussion and personal interview on the basis of their qualifying examination score. Final selection will be based on following:

• Qualifying exam score
• Educational qualification
• Marks obtained in group discussion
• Marks obtained in the personal interview

Counselling for UPES MET 2018 will be done in three cities- Kolkata, New Delhi, and Mumbai. UPES will conduct the counselling via two types, Non-Examination & Examination. For the counselling process, the candidates are required to bring in their Score Card of Class 10, 12 and Graduation for document verification process.

UPES MBA Interview Dates, Time, and Venue

Following are the interview dates for the candidates those who have the valid Scorecard of the September MAT 2017 with minimum 75 percentile and also they have applied for the UPES Admissions 2018.

UPES MET 2018 is an offline/Pen and Paper based test of the duration of 2.5 Hours i.e. 150 minutes. UPES MET test contains total 140 objective type questions whose distributions are given below.

15% of the seats are reserved for residents of Uttarakhand subject to production of Permanent Residence Certificate issued by the competent authority of Uttarakhand State. The candidates applying under this category will need to produce the original Residence certificate at the time of admission.

More than 50% seats will be filled through National Level Tests. In case candidates for such seats are not available then UPES will have right to fill these seats through UPES MET 2018.
