DSE MBA 2018 Admissions Dates

Age - Students of any age can apply for admission as there is no age restriction to apply for any of the two MBA programmes by Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics.

Academic Qualifications for DSE MBA 2018 Admission

For Indian Candidates

• The candidate must have passed a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• The candidate must have appeared for CAT 2016 conducted by IIM. A valid Scorecard for the same will be required at the time of the admissions.
• Candidates appearing for the final year Bachelor's degree examination are also eligible to apply for the MBA IB and MBA HRD, however, they have to be graduate with minimum 50% marks at the time of the admissions.

For Foreign Candidates

• The Foreign Nationals Candidates shall have to get register themselves with the Foreign Students Registry (FSR) in compliance with the schedule notified by the FSR.
• No Foreign students will be admitted directly by the Department in any case.

Qualifying Exam - The selection to DSE will be based on CAT Exam 2017 scores which are conducted by IIM, Bangalore. Applicants are required to register for the CAT 2017 Exam before applying for DSE MBA Admission 2018 in DSE.

DSE MBA Admission by Delhi University offers two MBA program i.e. MBA (IB) and MBA (HRM). The eligible applicants can apply online only for the admissions to any of the programmes as per their interest. It is to be noticed that the application form can be filled through online mode only. Steps to Fill DSE MBA Application Form 2018

The steps are provided to fill the DSE MBA Application Form for the candidates. Therefore, the candidates are suggested to follow the steps below and fill the form.

• STEP 1: Candidates have to register themselves on the official website portal of Delhi University MBA Admissions by following the link above.
• STEP 2: The candidates have to fill the required information in the columns provided and have to choose a password for further logins. 
• STEP 3: Verification link will be sent to the applicant's registered Email ID. after which applicants can access the DSE MBA Admissions Application Form.
• STEP 4: Now, applicants have to upload their required documents in the prescribed format given below.
• STEP 5: After doing this, the candidates will be redirected to the next section where they have to enter their academic and personal details.
• STEP 6: At last, the candidates have to click on the "Submit Now" button, to finally submit the filled in application form.

Note: Applicants must note that they can only edit their application form before the submission and the information furnished by the will be used throughout the application process. It is advised to cross check the information they enter as any false information can lead to the termination of the admission.

Applicants can pay the application fee of the Delhi University, DSE MBA Admissions in online mode only. The applicants can pay the admission fee in any of the mode given below:

Submission of the Application Form

The candidates while filling the application form should ensure the details filled in the form are correct in all aspect, if not then the candidates need to edit the application form with correct details and then submit the form. After submitting the application form online, the candidates are suggested to have at least two printout copies of the application form for future reference.

The application fee for DSE MBA is given in the table below. The fee is different and should be paid as per the category. The fee has to be paid through online mode i.e. Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. The Application fee once paid by the candidates is non-refundable.

The Annual Fee Structure for both MBA (IB) and MBA (HRM) program are given in the table below:

DSE will shortlist the candidates for DSE MBA with a view to identifying the interpersonal skills in addition to the overall knowledge; Primarily The Institute will use CAT Score for shortlisting of the application form followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. There will be three stages of the selection process that includes given aspects on the basis of which the applicants will be shortlisted:

• CAT Percentile
• Group Discussion
• Personal Interview

CAT Percentile: Candidates are required to submit their CAT score after appearing in the Common Admission Test conducted by IIMs. After that, the candidates who are short-listed on the basis of their CAT percentile will be called for GD and interview.

Group Discussion:  Shortlisted students from the CAT percentile will be eligible to attend the Group Discussion. Students will be given the scores as per their performances in group discussion.

Personal Interview: Applicants will further be attending the personal Interview and scores for the same will be given to them as per their performances.

There will be no specific institutional entrance exam for the Delhi School of Economics - DSE MBA Admission 2018 as because the admission is being done based on CAT scores, followed by GD and PI. DSE MBA Admission 2018 Reservations Rules

•  SC, ST, PWD, OBC, CW, and FS categories will get a reservation as per University of Delhi rules.
• The institute will give relaxation of 10% marks to all the OBC Students in the minimum eligibility conditions.
• Reservation of 5% marks will be given in admissions for Wards/ wives / Widows of the Defense personnel.

DSE will offer total  73 seats For MBA (IB) and MBA (HRM) which is divided among different categories. The number of seats for the different category is given below:

• MBA (Human Resource Development): 62 Seats
