LBSIM Delhi PGDM Admission 2018

LBSIM Delhi Admission for the session 2018-20 will be done based on CAT scores for which the application form is now available to fill. Hence, the candidates are suggested to fill the application form on or before the due date. LBSIM - Lal Bahadur Shashtri Institute of Management is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It offers 2 full-time PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) courses with two specialisations mentioned below:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Management (General)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance)

Selection for admission in both PGDM programs at LBSIM Delhi will be based on CAT 2017 Exam Score followed by the further stages of selection. Applicants applying for the LBSIM Admissions 2018-20 batch must have at least 50% marks in their graduation.

Age: There is no any age limitation for admission in both PGDM courses at LBSIM.

Academic Qualification:

• The candidate must have graduation degree with minimum 50% of marks in any discipline from any College, University or Institute which must be recognised by the Ministry of  Human Resource and Development.
• Applicants must have completed their education in (10+2+3/4) pattern i.e. they must have completed their graduation of minimum 3 years after passing class 10 and 12.
• The candidates who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply for PGDM at LBSIM Delhi but they will have to submit their final mark sheet and certificate before 15 December 2018.

Qualifying Examination: The candidate must appear in CAT (Common Admission Test) exam which is conducted by IIM (Indian Institute of Management).

Modes of Filling up LBSIM Registration Form 2018

LBSIM Registration Form can be filled through Online/ Offline. The candidates can also get the registration form by post and submit the same by drawing a DD. The details regarding the same are given below.

• Online Application: Applicants can apply online by filling up the application form and paying the application fee of Rs.1,250 via Debit/ Credit Card/ Net banking.
• Offline Application: Applicants applying offline can buy the Information Brochure and the Application form from LBSIM Dwarka Campus against the payment of application fee.
• By Post: Applicants can also get the application form via post to their registered address on payment of Rs 1250 + 75 (Postal Charges) on successful payment by demand draft drawn in favour of “Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of management” Delhi, payable at New Delhi.

Submission of Registration Form

Applicants have to submit the application fee of Rs.1,250 (Rs 1,375 in the case of postal order) against the LBSIM Registration Fee. The candidates have to attach the DD of registration fee drawn in favour of “Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management” Delhi, payable at New Delhi along with filled registration form and send it to the address given below before the due date:

The course fee is equal for both PGDM courses at LBSIM Delhi and Course fee structure is given below in the table for PGDM General and PGDM Finance courses.

The fee amount given in the table above is inclusive of the tuition fees, examination fees, library, books and reading material and refundable security fee of Rs.5,000 for the programme.

The candidate will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT score followed by the Group Discussion/ Personal Interview which will be conducted at the following test centres as selected by the candidates at the time of registration. The GD and PI will be held across 12 centres in India.

The candidates will be initially shortlisted for Group discussion, Extempore, Written analysis test and personal Interview and will be called at the Interview centre preferred by the candidates during filling the application form.

Stage 2 - Final Selection

The weightage for final selection will be 60% for CAT Score and 40% for Group discussion, Extempore, Written analysis test, academic performance, work experience and personal Interview.

LBSIM Delhi Admissions will not be conducting any separate entrance test for the admissions to the PGDM courses, However,  Exam scores of CAT 2017 and GMAT Exam will be considered for the selection procedure. • CAT 2017 Exam: CAT is a computer-based exam conducted for the admission into various post graduation management programme in IIMs and various other Indian Universities and Colleges.
• GMAT Exam: Graduate Management Aptitude Test is a Computer Adaptive exam that is used to take admission into Management Program such as MBA, MBA in Finance, Accountancy related courses.
