SIIB Pune MBA Admission 2017-18

SIIB Pune MBA Admission 2017-18 will be based on the candidates Individual Performance in SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test). Registration for SIIB Pune MBA Admission has started from 1 August 2017, and the SNAP Test will be conducted on 17 December 2017. SIIB is one of the Constituent Institute of Symbiosis International University (SIU). Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) offers the following Post Graduate Management courses:

• MBA in International Business (IB)
• MBA in Agriculture Business (AB)
• MBA in  Energy & Environment (E&E)
• Other Program: Post-Graduate Diploma in Foreign Trade (PGDFT)

All the three above-mentioned MBA Programs are two years full-time course with four semesters.

The candidates seeking admission in SIIB have to take SNAP Test, by first registering for the SNAP and then with SIIB. The shortlisted candidates of the SNAP test will be called for GE, PI and WAT process conducted by SIIB.

SIIB Important Dates 2017-18

SIIB MBA-IB and MBA-AB Eligibility

• The candidate must have completed their Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) aggregate marks at the Bachelor’s level from a statutory University.
• The candidates who are in final year of their graduation can also apply. 

SIIB MBA- E&E Eligibility

• The candidates must be an Engineering Graduate (BE/B.Tech), B.Arch, B.Sc (Environmental Science) with a minimum 50% (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) aggregate marks at the Degree level from a statutory University.
• It is to be noted that for all the three courses, the candidates of final year Bachelor’s degree may also apply but their admission will be subject to obtain a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.

SIIB application can only be made online only if the candidates have already Registered themselves for SNAP registration and appear in the SNAP Test. The Application Process for SIIB has started from 1 August 2017, and the last date to apply is 16 December 2017, till 12:00 midnight.

SIIB Registration Process

The candidates need to follow the given steps for SIIB Registration Process:

Register for SNAP: The candidates need to Register for SNAP by using User ID and password and by making a payment of Rs. 1500 as SNAP Registration Fee. The candidates then need to choose the programmes that they want to apply for under Symbiosis International University (Rs 1000 for each programme) and fill the SIIB Form.

Register for SIIB: The candidates can register for SIIB with the same credentials they have use in SNAP Registration. In SIIB Registration Form the candidates can fill for MBA and MBA (IM) programme.

Submission of SIIB Registration Form

The candidates need not submit any hard copy of the duly filled in SIIB Registration Form to the concerned authority. However, the candidates are advised to take a print-out of the registration form for future use.

SIIB Admission 2017-18 will be on the basis of the SNAP score for the candidates who have appeared in the SNAP Test 2017-18. It will be a written test to be held on 17 December 2017. SNAP Result will be declared on 28 December 2017. Those candidates who clear the SNAP Test will be shortlisted for GE, PI and WAT.

Shortlisting of Candidates: Shortlisting of candidates for Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Writing Ability Test will be based on their overall SNAP Percentage. Category-wise cut off will be published on the website of the respective institute.

SIIB GE, PI and WAT Process will be held on February 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11, 2018

SNAP Merit List

SNAP Merit List about the Weigtage for admission to MBA programmes in SIIB will be displayed on the official website of SIIB Pune. SNAP Merit List will be based on the following parameters:

SIIB will release the final Merit List after the release of SNAP Merit List for the Students seeking admission in Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) on 15 March 2018.
