About IRMA MBA Admission
IRMA MBA Admission 2018-20 will be based on CAT 2017 and XAT 2018 scores. All the applicants who wish to take admission in IRMA have to additionally appear for the online test that is “Issues of Social Concern” (ISC) to be conducted on 4 February 2018 for PGDRM. Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is India's leading school in Rural Management that is committed to acting as the catalyst and facilitator for rural prosperity. IRMA or Indian Institute of Rural Management Anand offers two Post-Graduate Programmes namely:
- PGDRM: Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management. It is two years fully residential programme
- FPRM: Fellow Programme in Rural Management. It is a three years residential programme.
- Total PRM Seats in IRMA- 240 seats

IRMA MBA Admission Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for the PGDRM and FPRM is different for both the programmes. The candidates willing to seek admission in a programme of their choice should read and understand the eligibility criteria given separately below:
Age Limit: For both the above two courses there is no age limit to apply.
IRMA PGDRM Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualification: The candidate must hold a Bachelors’ Degree in any Discipline with a minimum of 15 years of education and at least having 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/DAP) aggregate marks at the Degree level may apply.
- Those applicants, who expect to fulfill the eligibility requirements before June 2018 may also apply.
Nationality: In addition to the Indian candidates, the Foreign Nationals/PIO/Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries and sons and daughters of NRIs are also eligible for IRMA PGDRM Admissions.
CGPA and Percentage: The percentage of aggregate marks are calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned University or Institution. In case University cannot convert the CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence will be established by IRMA by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100.
IRMA FPRM Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Only Indian Nationals can apply for FPRM
The candidates seeking admission to FPRM 2018 needs to satisfy any one of the following conditions:
- PGDRM from IRMA
- PGDRM from IRMA with one of year post-diploma work experience
- Post-graduation in any discipline from any recognised University or Institution with 55% marks at PG and 50% marks at Graduation (college) level
- Five-year professional degree (medicine, veterinary Science, architecture etc.) with 60% marks and at least one-year work experience
- Four-year professional degree (engineering, agricultural Sciences etc.) with 60% marks and at least three years of work experience
- Applicants having valid score of UGC JRF in relevant disciplines (management, economics, social work, sociology, psychology, commerce, etc).
- UGC JRF is mandatory, the only NET is not sufficient for getting an exemption from admissions test.
It is to be noted that the eligibility requirements for applicants from SC/ST/OBC/dap (differently abled person) is 5% less than those specified above.
IRMA MBA Admission Application form and Admit Card
IRMA Application Process can be made both Online and Offline by the candidates. The application form will be available from the second week of October 2017. Candidates can apply for both the PGDRM and FPRM Programme by using a single Application Form only. Both the Online and Offline Process will be mentioned below:

- Offline Process: IRMA Offline application form or in the form of hard copy along with prospectus and sample question paper will be available after the payment of complete application fee. The hard copy of the application form can be obtained from Admissions Office, IRMA, Anand-388001.
- Online Process: The candidates need to apply Online on the official website of IRMA and fill in the complete details in the application form. Apart from the Indian Nationals, the Foreign Nationals/PIO/NRIs and Children of workers in Gulf countries need to apply online.
Payment of IRMA Application fee
The candidates who have applied Online can make payment through the following modes:
- Online Payment Gateway: The candidates can make payment through Online Payment Gateway that is by using Credit Card/Debit Card or Net Banking. Overseas candidates need to apply online and pay through the payment gateway.
- IMS Learning Centre: Candidates can make payment at any of the IMS learning centres, after getting the IMS Receipt they may apply through IRMA website by using IMS Receipt number.
- SBI Challan: The candidates need to take a print out of the SBI Challan that is available in the admission link of IRMA website as well as in the following link and make payment at any of the SBI branches.

Submission of IRMA Application form
The duly filled in IRMA Application Form hard copy need not be sent to the concerned authority by all other applicants. But the BPL (Below Poverty Line) and Sponsored candidates need to send the hard copy of the duly filled in IRMA Application Form. The BPL category candidates also need to send a latest BPL proof along with the Application Form issued by the appropriate authority to the following address:

Correction in IRMA Application Form 2018
The candidates need to follow all the mandatory instructions before filling the IRMA Application Form. The candidates can edit their online application form before final submission. Once they click on the Submit button, they will be allotted a form number using which the entries can be edited.
Once the application forms are edited the candidates are advised to take a print-out of the submitted application form and make corrections as required and send the application form to the address given above.

Application Fees are different as per the categories. The candidates belonging to the respective categories must pay their application fee accordingly.The fee has to be paid through online mode only that is Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking.

Admission in PGDRM and FPRM will be based on CAT 2017 and XAT 2018 scores. In addition to this, all the candidates will have to compulsorily appear for "Issues of Social Concern" test (online) on 4 February 2018.

Selection Procedure for IRMA PGDRM/ FPRM
- PGDRM admission will be based on Admissions Test, Group Activity, and Personal Interview.
- FPRM students are selected on the basis of the academic qualification, test scores, research proposal, and reservation.
- The candidate with PGDRM qualification from IRMA and applicants or a valid UGC JRF score in relevant disciplines (management, economics, social work, sociology, psychology, commerce, etc.) are exempted from taking the admissions test and will be directly called for the FPRM interview.
- The candidates must note that for admission in IRMA it is compulsory for them to appear for CAT 2017/ XAT 2018 and "Issues of Social Concern (ISC)" test conducted by IRMA.
Selection Procedure for FN/ PIO /Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and Sons & Daughters of NRI: IRMA PRM Admission for from Foreign Nationals / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and Sons & Daughters of Non-Resident Indian(s) applicants may apply through GMAT/ GRE Scores (taken on or after January 2013) / CAT2017/ XAT 2018 scores.
- Applicants would be shortlisted on the basis of above-mentioned test score and Telephonic Personal Interview.
Note: Candidates must note that XLRI and IIMs play no role in the selection or admission process of IRMA.
