About KMAT 2018
KMAT 2018 is also known as Karnataka Management Aptitude Test which is conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) for the admissions in 169+ AICTE approved Management Colleges in Bangalore and rest of Karnataka institutes. The last date to apply for KMAT 2018 will be 10 July 2018. KMAT 2018 (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test) is all India based standardized management examination conducted since 2003. KMAT 2018 is for admission to the following given courses. Candidates from all over India and abroad with the minimum 50% in their bachelor degree can appear in the entrance exam. KMAT 2018 will be held in 10 cities across India.

KMAT 2018 Eligibility criteria
- Candidate must have passed their +3 year bachelor degree with about 50% aggregate marks (40%SC/ST)
- Candidates in their final year of the bachelor’s degree can also apply for KMAT 2018.

Steps to fill KMAT Application form
STEP 1: Candidates have to register their personal and contact details that will be used for the future communications.
STEP 2: If candidates have details of DD they can enter it there if not they have to attach the copy of the demand draft as a proof along with their name and contact detail at the back side of the DD while submitting the application form.
STEP 3: Candidates have to take a printout of their application form and keep a copy of the same for the future references.
STEP 4: Now, Candidates have to affix their passport size photograph which should not be attested or used before, It must be a fresh photograph with the bright background.
STEP 5: Fill in the details required in the application form clearly before submission. It is advisable to note down the unique application number for acknowledgeable.

Fully filled KMAT 2018 application form along with the Demand Draft is to be submitted via registered post or candidates can submit via speed post to the following address before the due date. The applications received after the due dates will not be accepted in any case.

Payment of KMAT 2019 Applic8tion Fee
KMAT Application Fee i.e. Rs 100, has to be paid in the form demand draft drawn in favour of ‘KMAT 2018’ payable at Bangalore.
- Demand Draft can be from any of the Nationalized Bank.
- Mention the Demand Draft Number while filling the application form.
- The candidate has to attach the original demand draft before the submission of the application form.
KMAT 2018 Admit Card
Admit Card of the KMAT 2018 is allotted provisionally to all the registered candidates whose submission is successfully done before the due date, KMAT 2018, Admit card will be available to download tentatively in the last week of July 2018, till the date of exam. No individual admit cards will be sent to any candidates.
Note: Candidates have to affix their same passport size photo on the admit card which is to be presented on the day of the exam.

KMAT 2018 Exam pattern
Duration of Exam: 2 Hours (120 minutes)
Mode of Exam: Pen and Paper
Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- KMAT Exam 2018 will have 3 Sections and 120 questions with the medium level of difficulty and a time of 120 mins will be allotted to the students to complete the examination which means candidates will have 1 minute to attempt each question.
Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
KMAT Exam Marking: Each question out of the pool of 120 questions will be of four marks, full 4 marks will be awarded in case of the answer is correct, if the answer is wrong 0.25 marks i.e. 1 mark will be deducted and no marks i.e. 0 marks will be awarded to an unanswered question.

KMAT 2018 Syllabus
Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
- Grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc for the testing of English language.
- Questions on the understanding of the contents of the passages and choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills will be presented in the question paper.
- Question paper may also include the passages with questions based on their contents to test comprehension.
Logical and Abstract Reasoning
- This section of question paper is required to measure how quickly and accurately candidate’s thought process is.
- The section will have questions based on Reasoning, analogy among others.
Quantitative Ability
- This section includes aptitude, questions related to numbers, do numerical calculations, understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio & proportion, percentage, interest, time & speed etc. Apart from Arithmetic, the questions may also form with Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and parts of mathematics.
- Measurement of the power of quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs & charts.
KMAT 2018 will be conducted in more than 10 cities across the country, depending on the number of registrations test cities can be changed to more or less by the association.
Detailed address of the test centres will be intimated to the candidates on their admit card along with the date and reporting time of the KMAT Exam 2018. Candidates are required to carry the following things to their test venue:
- Admit Card duly completed with photograph and your valid photo ID proof.
- Black & Blue ballpoint pen; HB Pencils, Eraser, and Sharpener.
