The Institute of Technology, Nirma University, was established in 1995 by Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF) in Gujarat. NIRMA University B.Tech seats will be filled in the following manner:

• All India Category Seats - 35% of the Total Seats.
• ACPC Category Seats- 50% of the Total Seats.
• NRI / NRI sponsored Category Seats - 15% of the Total Seats

Eligibility for All India Candidates

• Candidate should have appeared in the JEE (Main) Exam 2018.
• Should have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with the percentage as to be decided by the Government of Gujarat.

Nirma University B.Tech Eligibility for NRI candidates

• NRI Candidates are exempted from appearing in JEE (Main) 2018, the candidate should have passed class 12. However, the NRI Sponsored Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination in India and must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2018.

• In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is required from the school authority.
• Such candidate will have to produce equivalence certificate of qualifying examination from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi

Submission of the Application Form

The application form has to be submitted online only. Candidates must note that submission will be assumed complete when Application Fee is paid and a Registration Number is allotted to the candidate. The candidates applying online are suggested to fill the application form correctly and check all the details before final submission of the form. After the successful submission of the application form, the candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference.

The application fees for the Nirma University for B.Tech course are different for the. The candidates who have passed the class 12 from the school located in Gujarat or Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra Nagar Haveli has to pay less fee as compared to the other candidates. The candidates belonging to the respective categories must pay their application fee accordingly.

Annual B.Tech Fee structure for the academic year 2018-19 for the candidates taking admission in 35% All India Category Seats is given in the table below. The candidates are suggested to go through the table below.

• NOTE - The fees for the NRI given in the table is based on last year.

The candidate has to fill up the branch choices at the time of filling up the application form. It is to be noticed by the candidates that the filled branches choices can be modified up to 8 June 2018. The seat allotment will be done as per the branch choices preferred by him/ her at the time of filling the application form. The allotted seat can be checked by the Email ID and Password, that was used at the time of application registration. After the seats are allotted as per the online counselling, the candidate will get four options to select from.

• Option A will give the option to accept the allotted seat with no need to upgrade branch later.
• Option B will give the option to accept the allotted seat but want to remain in the counselling process for better branch option.
• Option C will give the option not accept the allotted seat and to remain in the counselling process for better seat allotment later.
• Option D will give the option to cancel the registration and to terminate the counselling process.

Documents Required for B.Tech Admission in Nirma University

After Online counselling, candidates must provide their original and two sets of photocopy at Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. Candidates don’t need to send their Class 12 and JEE (Main) Marksheets.

ITNU B.Tech Seats

The total seats of 840 will be allotted according to the following guidelines:

• 50% seats reserved for ACPC category: The 50% of total seats are reserved for the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), GoG. The applicant has to apply separately to ACPC, GoG.
• 35% seats reserved for All India Category:  35% of the total number of seats will be available for all candidates who have passed class 12 and have appeared in JEE (Main) 2018 exams. The merit list will be made on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) of JEE (Main) exam.
• 15% seats for NRI/NRI Sponsored Category: These seats are available for the candidates who have by these two types of candidates.
  • NRI candidates, who have passed their qualifying exams from the colleges based outside India.
  • NRI sponsored seats are for those candidates who have passed their qualifying exams from the school situated in India. All India Rank (AIR) of JEE (Main) 2018 result will be taken into consideration for this.
