ICI JEE 2018 - Application Started

ICI JEE 2018 Application process has been started and the last date to fill the Online Application form is 15 June 2018. The candidates can fill the ICI JEE Application Form by following the link given on this page. ICI JEE is the Joint Entrance Examination offered jointly by the Indian Culinary Institute and the Indira Gandhi National Open University. The Institute is aimed to facilitate building a specialised food production workforce of international standard.  ICI JEE 2018 will offer admission to the first batch of B.Sc in Culinary Arts. Indian Culinary Institute has its campus at Tirupati and Noida. There are a total of 60 seats available in each campus for admission into BSc in Culinary Arts. ICI JEE 2018 Dates

Academic Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10+2 system of a Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the Subjects with the minimum of 50% for General and OBC categories (45% for SC/ST categories).

• Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in ICI JEE 2018 on the provisional basis. Such candidates will have to submit proof of passing Class 12 at the time of admission. 

Age Limit:

General and OBC: The upper age limit for the General and OBC categories is 22 years of age as on 1 August 2018. 

SC/ST: The upper age limit in case of SC/ST candidates is 27 years of age as on 1 August 2018.

• The candidates born on or after 1 August 1991 are also eligible.

ICI JEE Application Form 2018 can only be filled Online. The Application forms are available now, and the last date to apply online is 15 June 2018.  The candidates have to fill the online application form get it countersigned by the parents/guardians and sent to NCHMCT.

ICI JEE 2018 Admit Card

ICI JEE 2018 Admit Card will be available to download on the official website from 23 June 2018, for the entrance exam to be conducted on 1 July 2018. The link to download ICI JEE 2018 Admit Card is given below.

The candidates who are filling the online application form have to pay the application fee as given below. The candidates need to pay the Application fee in form of Demand Draft in favour of ICI and payable at NOIDA by 21 June 2018 to the following address:

ICI JEE Merit List

Indian Culinary Institute (ICI) will also release an All India Merit List of the candidates who will qualify in  ICI JEE 2018. In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in ICI JEE Written Test, the tie will be resolved as follows:

• Candidate securing higher marks in English component of JEE shall rank higher,
• In marks secured in JEE and English component are equal  then the candidate securing higher marks in Service Aptitude Component of JEE shall rank higher,
• In a case of a tie in both the above points, the candidate older in age shall rank higher..

• Exam Mode: Pen and paper-based test
• Script: English and Hindi
• The medium of Exam: ICI JEE 2018 will be conducted in English and Hindi. However, 'English Language, questions will be in English Only.   
• Duration: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon (2 hrs)
• Number of Questions: 100 MCQ
• Marking in ICI JEE: Each correct answer will reward 1 marks
• Negative Marking:  No Negative Marking

ICI JEE Test Centre

ICI JEE will be conducted in 7 cities across the country. The candidate has to give one test centre preference while filling the application form. The candidates can check ICI JEE Test Centre below.

Change in Test Centre

The Change of the Test Centre for ICI JEE 2018 can only be done under exceptional circumstances. It can only be permitted if an application with a valid reason for the change of centre is received in the office of the Director (A & F) NCHMCT, NOIDA before 21 June 2018 along with non-refundable fees of Rs.1000 through Demand Draft drawn in favour of ICI, payable at Delhi/NOIDA.

ICI JEE Seats and Reservation

Indian Culinary Institute, Tirupati and Noida campuses offer 60 seats individually for 2018-21 batch, allotment of the seat will be made only on the basis of ICI JEE merit. It is to be noted that 5% is reserved for  Physically Disabled candidates. For rests, the reservation shall be given only to those classes/castes/tribes which are in the respective Central List published by the Government of India.
