DPU Pune MBBS Admission 2017

Dr DY Patil University also called as DPU admission to MBBS and BDS programme will be based on the NEET Scores as per the order of Honorable Supreme Court. It is conducted by Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth, DPU Pune. The DY Patil Medical college in Pune was established in 1996 and offers admission to various UG and PG medical courses.

• DPU Admission is open for both General Category candidate and for NRI/PIO/FN category.

DPU MBBS/BDS Important Dates 2017

Age- The candidates seeking the admission must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2017.

Nationality- The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Academic Eligibility - The candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board or university.

• The candidate should have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks; but there is an exemption granted to those who are from the SC/ST community. They are required to score just 40% of marks for applying for this exam.

DPU Pune Eligibility for NRI/PIO/Foreign Nationals

• The candidate must who have acquired 17 years of age as on December 31, 2017.
• candidate must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at the CBSE, ISC, HSC or an equivalent examination.
• The candidates who have studied from school that follows the American system of education, the candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at 'AP' (Advanced Placement) level and must have secured a minimum 'C ' grade in these subjects.
• Students from Cambridge International Examination (CIE) the candidate should have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at “Advanced” level along with English at “Advanced Subsidiary” (AS) level.

The NEET score is mandatory for admission to MBBS/BDS course in any government and private medical colleges in India. Therefore, to apply for the admission into MBBS/BDS course, the candidates need to submit their NEET score. Candidates can fill the NEET application form to appear in NEET exam.

DPU Application Form is available on the official website of DY Patil University Pune. Eligible candidates who wish to appear in DY Patil have to for 15% AIQ conducted by DGHS. 

• The candidates can download the application form from the official website of the university.

NEET Counselling 2017 for Deemed Universities 15% AIQ

• Candidates have to paste an attested photograph by the principal or Gazetted officer on the application form and Letter of Authorization.
• Black ball point pen has to be used for filing up the application form.
• The declaration in the Application form has to be signed both by the candidate and by the parents or guardian of the candidate.  

• The candidates must provide a choice of their centre.

Submission of Application Form

The application form can be submitted personally or it can also be mailed to the given address.

• Verify that the application form is signed by the candidate, candidate's parent/ guardian and that the photograph is duly attested by the Head of the Institution where the candidate has studied or by Gazetted officer along with the official seal, before submitting.

DY Patil MBBS/ BDS Fee (Annual)

Mode of payment - The candidates can pay admission pay only through bank draft, they will have to make the demand draft in the favor of Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pimpri”, payable at Pune.

The admissions to MBBS courses shall be done on the basis of the merit list as ascertained from the performance of the candidates in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2017 - 18 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi by DGHS New Delhi.
