VIT B.Arch Admission 2018 will be done on the basis of the NATA exam. The architecture course would be of 5 years at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore Campus only. National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national level examination to select the candidates for admission to the B. Arch program in top institutes in India. Application form for VIT B.Arch Admission 2018 is expected to made available online from the second week of April 2018. The candidates who get good marks in NATA will be shortlisted for Interview and would be called for the group discussion which may hold at the end of June 2018 only at VIT campus.

VIT B.Arch Eligibility criteria
Age: The candidate must be born on or after 1 July 1996.
Academic Qualification:
- The candidate must have acquired 60% marks in 10+2 scheme of Senior School Examination or any other equivalent examination in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry with Mathematics as the primary subject at the 10+2 level.
- Minimum aggregate marks for candidates from Jammu & Kashmir and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura is 50% Aggregate in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
Qualifying Exam: NATA score is mandatory for the admission in VIT B.Arch
VIT B.Arch Application form and Admit Card
The application process for the B.Arch admission in VIT University is likely to start from the first week of April 2018. The candidates who are looking forward to the admission into the VIT University will be required to fill the application form. The payment of the application form will be done through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. There are some documents which would be needed to upload along with the application form.

- Upload Class 10 marks sheet or any age proof certificate,
- Class 12 mark sheet (of all attempts)
- NATA score card
Submission of the Application Form
Candidates are advised to check the details filled by them in the application form and then make the final submission as the candidates need to know that once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to make the changes in the details of the application form
After the successful submission of the application form, the candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference.
VIT B.Arch Fees
The application fee for the VIT B.Arch is provided below. The fee has to be paid through online mode only i.e. Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. VIT B.Arch Result and Counselling
VIT Result and Merit List are supposed to be available from the 3rd week of June 2018. The candidates who appeared in the exam will be able to check the result. The authority of University will then call the shortlisted candidates for counselling in which the candidates would be required to mark their presence along with the requisite documents.
VIT B.Arch Selection Process
The eligibility and selection process considering the NATA score will be subject to any changes that NATA / COA (Council of Architecture) may propose for institutions to follow, in the current Academic year.
Admission to B.Arch program would be given on the basis of NATA score and qualifying marks scored in the higher school secondary exam. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the following criteria
- Marks secured in higher secondary school examination
- Eligible NATA score

- Provisional Admission Letter. (Photocopy)
- Qualifying examination mark statements of all attempts
- Transfer Certificate / School Leaving Certificate
- Migration Certificate (if issued by the Board)
- Scorecard of NATA
- Conduct Certificate
- Community Certificate (For SC/ST only)
- Nativity Certificate (For Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura).
- Recent Passport size colour photos – 4 nos
- Affidavit to be signed separately by Student, Parent & Hostel affidavit in Rs.20 Stamp Paper.
- Physical Fitness Certificate (Format available in www.vit.ac.in)
- 2 sets of photocopies of all original documents. (except Affidavit & Physical Fitness Certificate)
