NIIT University B.Tech Admission 2018 - NU B.Tech Admission Open!

NIIT University B.Tech Admission 2018 - NU B.Tech Admission is based on NUET/JEE Mains/BITSAT or any other State Engineering Exam. The NIIT University was established in 2008 and is located in Neemrana (Rajasthan) which is 105 Km from IGI Airport and it offers admission to B.Tech & Integrated B.Tech Programmes for the 2018-19 Academic session. B.Tech is a fully residential program in 3 specialised streams. NIIT University B.Tech Admission for regular admissions has started in April 2018. Early Admission mode was open from 7 November 2017 to 31 January 2018. The candidates who are applying for admission based on other entrance exams (listed below) will be directly called for the personal counselling Interaction (PCI) round and the students appearing in NUET will qualify for PCI after they qualify the written exam. The NUET 2018 for admission into B.Tech & Integrated B.Tech in NIIT University will be conducted within seven days from the date of registration.

NIIT University B.Tech Admission Dates

NIIT University offers admission in two modes

• Early Admission Mode (EAD)
• Regular Admission Mode (RAD)

• Class 10: Minimum 60% marks or equivalent in Class 10 in five subjects with subjects English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies as compulsory subjects and one another subject of candidates choice. The board can be CBSE/ICSE/any other board in India or an equivalent board if from a country outside India.
• Class 12: The candidates must score minimum 60% marks in PCM Class 12 from any recognised board in India. The subjects taken should be Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and English.
  
  • CSE, ECE: Applicants must have minimum 60% marks in PCM if opting for CSE or ECE streams
  • BT- Minimum 60% marks in PCB, PCM or PCMB if choosing Biotechnology.

• The candidate should possess the class 12 scorecard for those who appeared for the academic year 2016, 2017, whereas for candidates appearing in March/April 2018 should have the admit card of Class 12 Board Exam.

Entrance Exam Required for admission in NIIT B.Tech

 For B.Tech admission in NIIT University, the candidates should have appeared in any of the following exams.

• JEE Main
• BITSAT
• SAT
• Any State Engineering Entrance Examination
• NIIT University Entrance Test (NUET)

The application form can be submitted in either online or offline mode for admission in NIIT University. NIIT also has opened the facilitation centres for the students to help applicants in filling up the application form.

Online Application Form: The candidates have to visit the link given below to apply online. Candidates have to attach all required details along with the application form. The candidate has to upload the following documents while filling up the application form. The files to uploaded should be in JPG, PNG or GIF files and should be less than 2 MB.

• Passport Size Photo
• Class 12 Mark Sheet/ Admit Card (Not a compulsory document)
  • The students who have appeared in class 12 in 2016 & 2017 will have to submit/upload a self-attested scanned copy of the mark sheet, whereas, for applicants who are appearing in 2018 need to submit the self-attested copy of their Class 12 admit card.

The hostel charges are including the mess and laundry.

* Only single occupancy rooms are available for female students.

Candidates seeking admission into NIIT University should either have valid score in JEE Main/BITSAT/SAT/Any other State Engineering Entrance Exam.

The candidate can also take admission in NU by appearing in the NIIT Entrance Exam namely NUET(NIIT University Entrance Examination).The result of NUET would be declared within 48 hours of the application as it is a computer-based exam. The candidates will be notified by an email about the result.

NIIT University BTech Counselling Documents Required

The counselling will happen in 4 rounds after the declaration of the results. The counselling will be conducted at the NIIT University Campus.

NIIT University Counselling Process

About Personal Counselling Interaction (PCI) & Parent Interaction

Personal Counselling Interaction (PCI) will be held on the date booked by the candidate. The candidate can book their slot for PCI after submitting the application form.

• Within 7 days of application submission. NUET will be conducted if Required
• NUET will be conducted if the candidates have not appeared for JEE Main, BITSAT, SAT or any state engineering entrance exam.
• Parent Interaction is done on the same day as PCI or based on prior appointment

The University claims 100% in 2017. The average placement as reported on the website is Rs. 4.63 lacs per annum and the highest package was Rs. 11 Lacs (Domestic).The university also had an international placement in Germany and it was 60,000 EUR p.a. (Approx Rs. 44.9 Lacs)
