Courses Offered at SOA University
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University also admits JEE Main qualified students in Undergraduate Engineering program. The admission is based on performance in class 12 / equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).

SAAT Eligibility criteria
Siksha O Anusandhan University invites the admission into the different UG and PG course based on SAAT. However, the eligibility criteria in order to apply for SAAT is different which completely depends upon the courses offered. The eligibility criteria for the different courses is given below:
B.Sc Nursing Eligibility
The candidates must have passed or appearing at 10+2 examination with at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and 40% aggregate marks in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates. The candidates must have passed in English.
Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31 December 2018.
B.Tech / Dual Degree in Engineering Eligibility
Candidates must have passed or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority. Candidate must have secured aggregate 50% marks.
BBA Eligibility
Candidate must have passed or appeared in 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream in March 2018
B.Pharm Eligibility
Candidate must have passed or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination with passing marks in individual subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics /Biology
BHMCT Eligibility
Candidate must have passed or appearing in 10+2 examination in any discipline with at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST / OBC category)
B.Sc. in Agriculture Eligibility
Candidate must have passed or appeared in 10+2 examination in March 2017 with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for admission under General and OBC categories. 40% marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and PH categories.
Age Limit: The lower age limit of the candidate is 17 years as on 31 December 2018
BBA LLB (Hons) and Integrated BA LLB (Hons) Programme Eligibility
Candidate must have passed or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks. Relaxable to 40% in case of SC/ST.
Age: There is no upper age limit at present, however, it is subjected to the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and BCI notification in this regard.
SAAT Application form and Admit Card
The application process for SAAT has started and the candidates can fill the form through online mode only. The candidates can apply for multiple courses. However, they are required to fill only one application form even for the multiple courses. The last date to fill the SAAT Application Form is 10 April 2018. Hence, the candidates should complete and submit the form on or before the due date.
- Application Fee - There is no application for SAAT.
- Acknowledgement of the receipt of application form will be intimated via email and SMS mentioned on application form.
- SOA University will send an acknowledgement for the receipt of SAAT 2018 application form to the email provided. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form for future reference.
Application Form Submission
SAAT application form has to be submitted online only. The acknowledgement of the receipt of the SAAT 2018 application will be intimated to candidate's Emailâ€Id and Mobile Number through SMS. Candidates do not need to send a printout of the application form or any other document to the university. However, the candidates are advised to keep a print out of the filled-in application form for future reference.
SAAT 2018 Admit Card
The SAAT 2018 Admit Card will be available to download from 15 April 2018. The candidates will also receive the admit card via Email. The candidates should know that an admit card is an important document to be carried at the examination centre. Candidates must preserve the admit card till the admission process is over. SAAT Fees
SAAT is an entrance exam for admission into the constituent institutes/ colleges of Siksha O Anusandhan University. There is no registration fee required in order to appear for SAAT exam. However, the candidates who get selected would be required to pay the course fee. The fee for all the courses is given in the table below:

SAAT Result and Counselling
SAAT 2018 Results are expected to be declared in the month of May 2018. The qualifying candidate will be given a rank card. Siksha O Anusandhan University Admission 2018 will be strictly based on the merit of the rank obtained in SAAT 2018.
The eligible candidates will be called for counselling for final admission as per the rank card in the category they have applied. The candidate selected through counselling will be given a registration number and a university registration card.

Important Note -
- At the time of online allotment, the candidates are required to pay an initial amount of Rs.1,000 online.
- The balance amount has to be paid at the time of admission at respective institutes in the form a demand draft in favour of “Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University” payable at Bhubaneswar.
- The mess charges will be approximate Rs.30,000 p.a (subject to change from time to time as per actuals).
- The caution money will be refunded to the candidate’s account (NEFT/ RTGS) on completion of the course under each programme after deduction of Alumni fees / overall general breakage/ any dues.
SAAT Exam pattern
SAAT 2018 will have multiple choice questions. Each question shall have four probable answers with only one correct answer.The medium of the exam is English.
- Each correct answer shall carry four marks while every wrong answer will lead to deduction of one mark.
- Unanswered questions will carry zero marks.
- Negative Marking: Candidate must not darken more than one circle for a question as it will be regarded as an incorrect answer, resulting in a deduction of one mark.

SAAT 2018 Syllabus
Reservation Category
Candidates applying for SC/ST/OBC reserved category must furnish SC/ST/OBC certificate from Tahasildar of the place of birth at the time of counselling. The percentage of Reservation is given below:
- 15% and 7.5% seats in all programmes are reserved respectively for candidates belonging to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe by birth (not by marriage or adoption).
- 3% seats are reserved for physically handicapped (PH)
- 30% of seats under each category for all the programmes (except for MBBS and BDS courses) are reserved for women candidates
- No reservation norm is applicable for lateral entry admission.
SAAT 2018 Test Centres
SAAT 2018 will be held at the 35 test centres in India. SAAT exam is scheduled to be conducted from 20 to 30 April 2018. The candidates will have three (3) preferences of choosing the test centres. They need to select their date of exam and the time slot at the time of filling the application form
