DU BHMS Admission 2019
- Duration of Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery: 5½ years(including Internship Training of 12 months). 4 months internship outside college and eight months internship in Nehru Homoeopathic hospital itself.
- The students are required to complete 12 months Internship Training for BHMS Course before the award of the degree.
- 85% Seats are reserved for the candidates who have passed their Class 11 and 12 from the schools located in the NCT of Delhi. Remaining 15% seats are filled on all India Basis.
- Medium: English will be the medium of instruction and examination for BHMS Degree Course

Nehru Homeopathic Medical College BHMS Admission Eligibility criteria
The admission is open to students from all over India as well as to the foreign nationals. The academic qualifications and the age criteria required for the admission in Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College for the BHMS admission are given below.
Age: Candidate must have attained or shall attain the age of 17 years as on 31 December 2018.
Academic Qualifications
- For 85% Delhi Quota Seats: Candidates must have passed Class 12 Examination candidates from Intermediate/Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE)/Indian School Certificate Examination or any other equivalent Examination recognized by the University of Delhi.
- For 15% All India Quota Seats: Candidates must have passed Class 12 Examination from an Indian University/Board or any other equivalent Examination recognized by the University of Delhi
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have scored 60% or more marks in the aggregate of three subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and has also passed English as one of the subjects.
- Subjects included in the merit list: While deciding the merit the marks obtained in English will not be taken into consideration rather only marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be considered.
- Certificate stating passed in Hindi: All the admitted candidates in BHMS Course are required to submit a Certificate that they have passed Class 8 Examination with Hindi.
