Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) has various campuses located in Mesra, Jaipur, Patna, Deogarh, Kolkata, Lalpur, Noida & Allahabad and also 2 international campuses, one in Muscat (Oman) and other in Ras al-Khaimah (UAE).

• BIT offers a 3 Year full-time undergraduate program divided into 6 semesters in B.Sc. Animation & Multimedia.
• These programs are offered at BIT Noida and BIT Jaipur Campuses. On successful completion of six semesters candidates are awarded a Degree of B.Sc. Animation & Multimedia.

• Academic Session 2018-19 will commence from the 2nd/3rd week of July 2018 in both the campus.

For all programmes at the Institute 50% seats are reserved for Home State and 50% for All India.

BIT Noida & Jaipur B.Sc Animation Dates

Age Limit: In a case of General category, the candidates' date of birth should fall on or after 1 October 1993. In the case of SC/ST/PH candidates date of birth should fall on or after 1 October 1988.

Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or Equivalent Qualifying Examination with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWD) marks (average of 4 core subjects). 

• A method for calculation of best 4 subjects: Percentage of marks in Class 12 will be calculated as an average of English + Best 3 other core subjects.
• Grades: In case the Board awards grades instead of marks, the calculation of equivalent marks would be based on the procedure prescribed by the Board.
• In Class 10 or Class 12, a candidate must have passed all the required subjects at that level from the same Board.

• STEP 1: The candidates need to register them first by following the link given above.
• STEP 2: Fill all the details required in the application form and generate the application number.
• STEP 3: Pay the application fee.
• Application Fee Payment: Candidates can either pay online using the Credit card or Net Banking or pay the Application Fee via Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at (Noida/ Jaipur) respective campus. 

Submission of Application Form

BIT Application Form has to be submitted online only. However, take the printout of the same and retain as the same will be required to produce at the time of reporting for Aptitude Test and Interview.

• The list of eligible candidates along with the Registration Number will be displayed on the Institute's website.
• Candidates whose names appear on the shortlist have to note their Registration Numbers and should come to attend the Aptitude Test, Interview & Counselling on the date specified against their Name. They are advised to carry a photocopy of their completed application form.
• No individual intimation will be sent to candidates.

Candidates have to pay the below mentioned Non-Refundable Application Fee via Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at Noida or can also pay online through Credit card or Net Banking.

BIT BSc Animation Multimedia Fee Structure 

Based on the applications received and fulfilling the eligibility Criteria and the availability of seat candidates will be shortlisted.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for Aptitude Test, Interview and counselling on the basis of their Marks in Class 12 at the Noida and Jaipur Campus on dates given on this page.

Bsc Animation Aptitude Test and Interview Schedule

• Venue for Jaipur: BIT Jaipur Campus , 27, Malviya Industrial Area, Jaipur – 302017
  
• Venue for Noida: A-7 Sector 1 Noida- 201301
• Reporting Time for Jaipur: 10:00 am (Aptitude test will start from 12:30)
• Reporting Time for Noida: 10:00 am (Aptitude test will start from 10:30)

• Things to be carried: Candidates have to carry their own pencil /colours pencils/ crayons with them
• Portfolio: At the time of Interview candidates are recommended to bring their portfolio (sketches & drawings) if they have it.

Question in the Aptitude Test

The questions will be set on following - Drawing Skills, (b) Creativity skills including creative writing. The interview will be held after 30 minutes of the Aptitude Test. 

Documents Required at the Time of Aptitude Test and Interview
All the documents mentioned below must be carried in original as well as one set of photocopies at the time of Aptitude Test and Interview:

A print out of the duly completed online form (Original copy)

• Pass certificate of Class 10
• Mark sheet of Class 10
• Mark sheet of Class 12 / Intermediate or equivalent
• Caste certificate (if applicable), which should be in proper format and signed by the appropriate authority of rank not less than SDO.
• Candidates belonging to other special categories mentioned like Physically Handicapped / Ward of BIT Employee/ Kashmiri Migrant) must provide a photocopy of the certificate in proper format from an appropriate authority.
• Copy of Payment receipt towards application fee of Rs.1,500/- (General) and Rs.1,000/- (SC/ST) candidates (non-refundable)

• Photo identification: Driving license, Aadhar Card, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, School / College ID are acceptable
• Portfolio: At the time of Interview candidates are recommended to bring their portfolio (sketches & drawings) if they have it.

BIT Noida & Jaipur Final Selection (Weightage)

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the required subject in Class 12 or any other qualifying Exam + performance in Creativity Aptitude Test & Interview.

There is no Entrance Test. But candidates have to take Aptitude Test and Interview.

Creative Aptitude Test: The questions in the test will test the drawing skills, creative abilities and writing skills of the students.
