BIT Mesra BBA & BCA Seats Distribution

Age Limit: General category candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1 October 1993 are eligible for admission. SC/ST/PwD candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1 October 1988.

English proficiency: Candidate must have adequate proficiency in written & spoken English to cope with the programme as all instruction and examinations will be in English only

Academic Eligibility:

Kindly Note: If in case the Board awards grades instead of marks, the calculation of equivalent marks would be based on the procedure prescribed by the Board.

In Class 10 or Class 12, a candidate must have passed all the required subjects at that level from the same Board.

For the purpose of admission to All India Seats, candidates have to apply online on the official website for the registration of their candidature within the time limit specified.The candidate has to use the separate application form, in case applying for both BBA and BCA programmes and pay

BIT Mesra BBA and BCA Online Application Form Instructions

• Candidates have to fill in all the details as per their eligibility while filling the BIT Mesra 2018 application form Online.
• The same online Application Form to apply for the BBA or BCA programmes of the Institute at BIT Jaipur, BIT Lalpur (Ranchi City), BIT Noida and BIT Patna Extension Centres, in order of candidate's preference.
• Once BIT Mesra 2018 online application form is successfully submitted, candidates will be redirected to a new page for payment towards application fee
• By using the Username and password candidates will be able to enter once again if they have clicked on ‘Save & Exit’. 
• Candidates will have the option to save the form to a maximum of only three times.

BIT Mesra BBA/ BCA 2018 Application Form Submission

• Candidates have to take the Print out of the duly filled BIT Mesra Application Form.
• Thereafter they have to affix a recent color photograph of good quality firmly in the box provided. Attach one extra photograph to the form
• Candidates need to preserve the application form and bring the same at the time of admission cum documents verification.

Important Instructions

• Candidates should not print a blank form and fill it by hand as this will not be accepted.
• Incomplete applications or applications received without all required enclosures are liable to be rejected / may not be processed.
• Candidates should retain the photocopy of the online application form for future reference

The application fee for the different categories is given below. The candidates belonging to the respective categories must pay their application fee accordingly.The candidates should need to pay the application fee only once.

After successful transaction candidates have to take a print out of the payment receipt that is generated. The original copy of the payment receipt should be attached along with a printout of online application form.

• The selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Class 12/ Intermediate/ equivalent qualifying examination.
• The declaration of first shortlisted candidates for Documents Verification cum Admission will be notified on the Institute website on 18 June 2018. No individual intimation will be sent to candidates.

Documents required at the time of BIT Mesra BBA/ BCA Admission

Candidates must carry the originals of the following documents at the time of reporting for documents verification cum admission, as well as one set of photocopies:

• A print-out of the duly completed online form (original copy)
• Pass certificate of Class 10
• Payment receipt towards application fee of Rs.1,500/- (General) and Rs.1,000/- (SC/ST)
  candidates (non-refundable)
• Marksheet of Class 10 & Class 12/ Intermediate or equivalent
• Caste certificate/ special category certificate (if applicable)
• School / College Leaving Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• One passport size photograph, identical to the photograph affixed in the application form
• Photo identification: (Driving license, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, School/ College ID are acceptable)
• Requisite admission fee in the form of Demand Draft.

Candidates are also required to carry a photocopy of their duly completed online form. If found eligible for admission, candidates will be required to submit all the above documents in original (except the Photo ID) at the time of admission, along with the requisite fees.

Reservation of Seats: Following are the reservation of seats at all extension centre:

• SC- 15% and ST-7.5 %
• Persons with the disability- 3%
• Sons and daughters of serving employees of BIT- 6%
• Kashmiri Migrant- 1 seat is reserved for sons and daughters of Kashmiri Migrant
• 50% of the total seats are reserved for candidates who have passed/ are appearing for their qualifying examination (Class XII) from the state in which Centre is located.
