B.A (Hons) English is being taught at Department of English since 1975. Department of English is one of the largest departments of the University, with more than 50 students enrolled every year from all parts of India.

Jamia Milia Islamia B.A (Hons) English Dates

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years on 1 October (of the year of admission)

Academic Qualification:

• The candidates must have passed Class 12 /Sr. Sec. School Certificate/ or equivalent from a recognised Board with a minimum of 50% marks in the subjects concerned.
• Candidates whose results for the qualifying examinations have not been declared may also apply.

The Jamia Millia Islamia entrance exam admit card for the course B.A (Hons) English will be available on the official website only for those eligible candidates who have submitted their duly filled application forms before the due date. Information about the availability of the admit card shall be provided to candidates on their respective registered mobile numbers through SMS

• The list of candidates selected for the interview wherever applicable shall be displayed in ascending order of their Entrance Test Roll Number.
• The list will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Faculty/ Department/Centre concerned as well as on Jamia’s website

• Duration of the Exam: 1 Hour 45 Minutes
• Medium of Exam: English
• Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the Objective Type/ Multiple Choice Questions
• The Exam will be for 100 Marks.
• Candidates have to mark the answer with Black/Blue Ball Pen Only
