JAC Delhi 2018 or Joint Admission Counselling: JAC Delhi Cut off ranks for Round 3 has released online. JAC Delhi Seat Allotment Result for Round 3 released online on 9 July 2018. The cut off ranks are available in PDF in the link given below. JAC Delhi exam is conducted for admission to BTech Seats in 27 Engineering Branches in 4 renowned Technical Universities/ Institutes located in Delhi. Joint Admission Counselling or JAC Delhi 2018 is a counselling procedure conducted for admissions to B.Tech programmes across the participating institutes. Through JAC Delhi 2018, admissions will be offered to candidates in undergraduate engineering programmes at various institutes listed on this page.

JAC Delhi Counselling 2018 Participating Institutes
- Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT)
- Delhi Technological University (DTU)
- Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW)
- Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT Delhi)
These four Technical Institutes/ Universities would be admitting students on the basis of common counselling on the basis of JEE Main 2018 Rank. The candidate has to first give their choices for admission and on the basis of that JAC Merit list will be displayed.
- Reservation of Seats for Delhi Candidates: 85% of the total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Delhi Region while 15% are for those from outside Delhi.

JAC Delhi Eligibility criteria
All these institutes offer admission based on JEE Main All India Rank prepared by giving 40% weightage to Class 12 Board Exams or other qualifying examination marks and 60% to the score obtained in JEE Main 2018. Candidate must have been declared eligible for Central Counselling by the CBSE.
Age Limit
Candidate must be 17 years of age and maximum 25 years of age on or before 1 October 2018
JAC Delhi - Academic Qualifications
- Candidates must have passed English as a subject of study of the senior school certificate examination level (core or elective).
- Candidates who have been placed in the compartment are not eligible for admission for the year 2018-19.
For Delhi Region Candidates (85% of seats)
- Candidates should have passed any of the following examinations from a recognised School/College/Institute located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi only
- Candidates should have secured 60 % or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and must have passed English as a subject of study in Class 12. (5% relaxation in case of OBC, CW, SC/ST and PD)
- Candidates will be eligible for admission to the first semester of Bachelor of Technology Course if they have passed in each subject separately.
For Outside Delhi Region Candidates(15% of seats)
- Candidates should have passed any of the following examinations from a recognised School/College/Institute located outside the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
- Candidates should have secured 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have passed English as a subject of study in Class 12.
- Candidates will be eligible for admission to the first semester of Bachelor of Technology Course if they have passed in each subject separately.
List of Examinations to be considered as Qualifying Examination
- Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi
- Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
- Bachelor of Science (General) or Bachelor of Science (Hons.) examination of a recognised university with a combination of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with the minimum aggregate of 60% marks
- Any other examination recognised as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E.
JAC Delhi - Minimum Academic Qualifications
For B.Tech course at IIIT Delhi
- Non- Science candidates are eligible to apply for B.Tech (Computer Science and Social Sciences) course at IITD
- Candidates who have UCEED rank are also eligible to apply for the Computer Science and Design program
- Science students with JEE Main 2018 scores are eligible to apply for the JAC Delhi
- To apply for the counselling it is compulsory to have Mathematics in class XII for all programs
For B.E/B.Tech course at DTU, IGDTUW, and NSIT
- A candidate should have secured 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and have passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level.
- A candidate with English Core or Elective shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of B.Tech./B.E course provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately.
B.Arch Course at IGDTUW
A candidate must have secured 50% or more marks in aggregate and have passed Mathematics as a subject in the Senior School Certificate Level Examination and also qualifies the JEE main 2018 (paper 2) examination.
JAC Delhi Application form and Admit Card
Candidates seeking admission to all engineering programmes offered by NSIT, DTU, IGDTUW and IIIT Delhi are required to pay an initial registration-cum-counselling fee and to complete the online registration process. The JAC Delhi registration process started on 15 June 2018 and ended on 23 June 2018.
Steps to fill the JAC Delhi Application Form
The candidates are provided with the instructions to fill the application form which will help them in guiding throughout the form filling. The candidates are suggested to follow the instructions given below.
JAC Delhi Online Registration
- Firstly, the candidates have to make the payment of the JAC Delhi registration cum counselling fee (Rs. 1,400 + Transaction Charges) in order to proceed further with JAC Delhi choice filling.
- The candidates while paying the application fee will havetofill the following details:
- JEE Main Roll No
- Mobile No
- E-mail ID
- After paying the application fee, the candidates are suggested to click on the “New Registration” link and enter the following information to access the Online Registration Form:
- JEE Main Roll No
- Date of Birth
- Nationality
- Result Status of Class 12
Filling up the JAC Delhi Application Form
- After filling the above details, the candidates have to fill the basic details which may be used for filling of choices of branches and allotment of seat.
- The candidates after that are required to upload their Photograph and Signature in JPEG format for which the size would be:
- Photograph: Should be less than 40 KB
- Signature: Should be less than 20 KB
- The JEE Main Roll No would be the ID of the candidate and the password can be chosen by the candidates for subsequent logins to the counselling website.
- In the end, the candidates must take the printout of the registration form which should be submitted at the time of the admission.
Payment of the JAC Delhi Application Form
The payment of the application form can be via two modes i.e. through online mode and offline mode. The two of the modes are well described below
- Online Mode: The candidates can make the payment of the application fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
- Offline Mode: Another mode of paying the application fee is by cash at any branch of SBI. The candidates have to bear additional bank charge which is Rs 50 for this mode.
Submission of the Application Form
The candidates are advised to check the details of the application form and then make the final submission as the candidates need to know that once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to change the details of the application form.
After the successful submission of the application form, the candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference.

Candidates are required to pay the Registration Fee amounting to Rs. 1400 + Transaction charges. The candidates can make the payment via any of the two modes mentioned on this page above.

JAC Delhi Result and Counselling
Display of the list of Provisionally Selected Candidates: Allotment of seats is purely provisional and is subject to verification of original certificates and payment of University/Institute fee as applicable etc, at the time of reporting to JAC
- Selected candidates have to report for admission at allotted University/Institute on the date specified along with fee and the original documents/testimonials/certificates.
- Candidates who have not been allotted any seat till Fourth Round but are willing to participate in remaining rounds of counselling at DTU and IGDTUW are required to mark their PHYSICAL ATTENDANCE at DTU according to schedule
Merit List Preparation by DTU, NSIT and IGDTUW
JAC merit list will be prepared on the basis of JEE Main 2018 All India Rank as given by CBSE and on the basis of the locked choices. The candidates should know that the merit list will be prepared based on JEE scores.
Merit List Preparation by IIIT Delhi
- Total marks obtained in Paper-I of JEE Main 2018, converted to the base of 60
- Normalised marks obtained in Class 12 or another qualifying exam as given by JEE Mains, converted to the base of 40.
- Bonus marks(maximum: 10) if any,
- The merit list will be based on the total of the above three.
The JAC Delhi counselling will start from the second week of June 2018. The counselling round may get extended as per the demand and allotment of seats. The details about all the counselling rounds are given below on this page.

JAC Delhi First Round of Allotment
- The choices locked by the candidates during main counselling will be processed centrally and the results will be available on the website.
- Shortlisted candidates will have to pay the admission fee and submit their willingness for participation for the subsequent rounds.
- Based on candidate’s fee payment and willingness for participation in the subsequent round, allocated seats and vacant seats will be displayed for 2 round of counselling
JAC Delhi Second Round of Allotment
- No fresh registrations would be allowed in this round
- Who is eligible?
- Type 1: Registered candidates who were not allotted any seats in the first round of seat allotment
- Type 2: Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first round of counselling and paid the admission fee as desired and also submitted willingness “Yes” for participation in the further rounds
- The choices locked by the candidates during main counselling will be processed centrally and the results will be available on the website.
- Shortlisted candidates will have to pay the admission fee and submit their willingness for participation for the subsequent rounds.(Applicable only for Type 1)
- Candidates of Type –II may get a seat of higher preferred choice or their previously allotted seat may remain unchanged.
JAC Delhi Spot Round (only for DTU and IGDTUW)
The JAC Delhi Spot Counselling would be done only for the DTU and IGDTUW as per the availability of the seats. The complete information regarding the JAC Delhi Spot Round Counselling is also available on this page.
- Spot round of counselling will be conducted only for DTU and IGDTUW subject to the availability of seats after the 5th round of Counselling. Registered candidates are only eligible for Spot counselling.
- Registered candidates who either have not been allotted any seat during any rounds of online counselling or have confirmed their allotted seat by depositing the admission fee are eligible for Spot Round.
- Candidates have to carry with them all original documents as well as the printed copy of provisional admission letter of JAC (if any) issued to them during on-line seat allotment round.
- Choices filled by the candidates during earlier rounds of online counselling will not be valid for this spot round of counselling.
- Allotments for the vacant seats in this round will be made on the basis of the merit and the candidates who are physically present
- Candidates who will be offered admission will have to deposit a Demand Draft of Rs 65000 for admission in IGDTUW and Rs 83000 for admission in DTU.
- Demand Draft has to be drawn in THE FAVOR OF JOINT ADMISSION COMMITTEE PAYABLE AT DELHI
