Age

• The candidates applying for the admission should be 22 years or less as on 1st July 2018, that is, the candidate must be born on or after 1 July 1996.
• The SC/ST and PC categories candidates will be provided relaxation  of 5 years with the upper age limit 
• The OBC category candidates will be provided relaxation of 3 years with the upper age limit.

Academic Qualification

• Candidate must have passed MADHYAMA Examination of BHU/Madhyama/Uttar Madhyama/Upa Shastri/Intermediate or Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks, having Sanskrit as one of the subjects in the concerned examination and also should have passed in this subject.
• Candidates having passed one-year certificate course in Sanskrit of BHU after passing 10+2 examination with 50% marks in aggregate both in the Class12 examination and certificate examination are also eligible.

• Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.
• SC/ST candidates: For SC/ST candidates, there will be no minimum aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examination except that they must have passed the qualifying examination.
• OBC and PC candidates: For OBC and PC candidates, there will be a relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

The candidates can apply for BHU UET BHU Shastri Hons. 2018 ONLY online. There is NO offline Process of filling the BHU UET 2018 Application Form. The last date to fill the application form is 28 February 2018.

Online Mode: Candidates may apply through online mode by visiting the official website. The candidates have to fill the BHU UET 2018 Application Form as per the procedure provided. There is no Offline mode of filling the BHU UET 2018 Application Form, so the application form and the Information Bulletin will not be sold at the University Counters or anywhere else.

BHU UET 2018 will be conducted at the following 20 test centres, provided there is the sufficient number of candidates for the concerned centre. The list of BHU UET Test Centre is given below.

BHU UET Shastri Hons Application Fee amount is different for all the categories of candidates who will fill the common BHU UET Online Application Form. The candidates are required to pay the Application fee given below through online mode that is credit Card/Debit Card or Net banking and also in cash through any of the branch of HDFC Bank. The additional course fee is for opting more than one course in the BHU UET Application Form is given below.

In case the candidate makes application for more than one course under UET 2018, the Application Processing Fee/Entrance Test Fee payable by them for each subsequent application will be charged as follows:

BHU UET Result for BHU Shastri Hons will be declared between 15 to 20 June 2018. The merit list for the same will be prepared according to the result. The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of merit list prepared. 

• BHU Score & Marks: The marks obtained by the candidate, the order of overall merit and the all the relevant information related to the BHU score and marks will be sent to the candidate by mail as well as SMS. The candidate can also check the BHU official answer keys and calculate their marks.

• No Revaluation of BHU Result: Banaras Hindu University will not entertain any request for Re-evaluation or Investigation of the answer sheets at any conditions. Further, no query about the same will be considered. BHU UET Results would be available at the BHU official website.
• Admissions will be solely done on the basis of merit in the UET, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements and availability of seats in the particular Course for which the candidate has applied for. BHU Counselling 2018 - BHU Shastri Hons

BHU, Banaras Hindu University will soon announce the BHU Counselling schedule for various courses after the exam for the year 2018-19. Check the course wise BHU Counselling 2018 schedule for BHU Admission 2018-19. The Counselling would be held for the following seats.

• Regular seat in the Main Campus
• Paid Seat in the BHU Main Campus
• Seats in the Affiliated Colleges

First of all the regular seats in the main campus will be filled and once they are full then the counselling for the paid seats in the BHU Main Campus is conducted and lastly the seats in the affiliated colleges are filled.

BHU UET Shastri Hons. Exam Pattern is given below:

• BHU UET will be a pen and paper based Test.
• Duration: 90 minutes duration.
• It will contain 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 300 marks, 50 each.
• Standard: The question paper will be of +2 Examination or equivalent.

• These questions will be based on knowledge of Hindi and Sanskrit Languages of Madhyama/Class 12 or equivalent examination 
• Marking Scheme: Zero mark will be awarded for each unattempted question and one mark will be deducted for each wrong attempt.
