About MHT CET
MHT CET 2018 - Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra announced the MHT CET result 2018 on 3 June. Candidates who appeared for the test can check the MHT CET 2018 result by clicking on the link provided below. To check MHT CET merit list cum result, candidates are required to enter their application number and password. A list of shortlisted candidates for the MHT CET 2018 counselling rounds will be released shortly. DTE Maharashtra conducted MHT CET exam on 10 May. The online registration of MHT CET CAP counselling has started from 7 June 2018. The last date to apply for the application is 19 June 2018. - As per the latest Notification, B.E and B.Tech admissions of 15 percent All India Quota Seats in the Private Unaided Institutions from the Academic Year 2018-19 will be based on JEE Main Paper 1. The vacant seats (if any) in All India Quota will be allotted to the candidates as per the merit list prepared on the basis of MHT CET Score.

MHT CET Eligibility criteria
Nationality: The MHT CET Exam is only for Indian Nationals. Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National candidates are exempted from appearing in MHT CET Exam.
Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in the entrance exam. Birth Certificate/ Class 10 Certificate/ Class 12 Certificate or School Leaving Certificate will be taken as the valid date of birth proofs.
MHT CET Eligibility for BTech Admission
The candidate should have passed in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained minimum required a percentage of marks in these subjects taken together.
Female candidates are not eligible for admission to Mining Engineering course.
MHT CET Eligibility for BPharm Admission
The candidate should have passed in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least required percentage of marks in these subjects taken together.
MHT CET Eligibility for Pharm D Admission
The candidate should have passed in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least required percentage of marks in these subjects taken together.

Candidates who have passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having approval of competent central authority and State Government
Class 12 Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in the month of March 2018 can also apply for the examination based on the condition that their result must be declared at the time of filling up of preference form.
Maharashtra Domicile for appearing in MHT CET
- The candidates who have successfully passed their Class 10 exam from an institute outside Maharashtra and Class 12 exam from any institute located in Maharashtra are eligible to appear for the examination if they are Domicile of Maharashtra state.
- Wards of Government of India’s employees who are posted in the state of Maharashtra before the last date of submission of preference are also eligible for admissions irrespective of the fact that from where they passed their qualifying examination.
- Wards of Government of Maharashtra’s employees who are posted outside the state of Maharashtra are also eligible for admissions depending on the condition that they reported for duty at the designated place before the last date of the preference submission.

MHT CET Application form and Admit Card
The online registration process for MHT CET 2018 has started. The application form can be filled through online mode. Hence, the candidates who are seeking admission into the Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy degree courses have to fill the form. The candidates have to fill and submit the form on or before the last date. However, there is an option to fill the form later with late fee payment.
Submission of the Application Form
After filling up the application form, the candidates have to submit the same to complete the procedure of filling up the form. Before final submission of the form, the candidates are suggested to inspect and ensure that all the information filled by them are correct in all aspect. After the submission, the applicants should keep at least two printouts with them for future reference.
MHT CET Admit Card 2018
MHT CET Admit Card 2018 will be available to download from 24 April 2018 onwards until the date of exam. The admit cards will be available only for those eligible candidates who have submitted their duly filled application forms before the due date. Admit Card will not be dispatched through the post, so no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
MHT CET Fees
The application fee for the General as well as SC/ ST and DA categories are different. The amount of fee payable by each category is given on this page below. Hence, the candidates are suggested to make the payment of the fee as per their category.
- General Category - The candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates.
- Other Categories - Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only.

MHT CET Result and Counselling
The MHT CET Result 2018 is likely to be declared on or before 3 June 2018. The candidates can get the OMR Answer sheet by the third week of May 201. MHT CET 2018 provisional first selection list is expected to be declared in the month of June 2018. The candidates can find the selection details for the same by following the link below.
The seats will be allocated to the candidates as per the rank which they achieved on the merit list and the availability of the seats in the given subject as per candidate’s category.
MHT CET Exam pattern
- Total Questions: There will be 50 questions each in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology. It will be Multiple Choice Questions
- Candidates have to mark the answer on the answer sheet with black ink ball point pen only.
- There shall be no negative marking
- The language of Question Paper: The medium for examination shall be English or Marathi or Urdu for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Mathematics paper will be in English Language only.
- The candidates seeking admission to Engineering course should appear in both Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- The candidate seeking admission to Pharmacy / Pharm. D. degree course it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Paper 2 as well as in Paper 1 and/or Paper 3.

Time and duration of MHT CET 2018
There will be three papers of one and half hours each.
- Part I- Mathematics - 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Part II- Physics Chemistry - 12:30 p.m. to 2 pm
- Part III- Biology - 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m
On the day of MHT CET 2018 exam, the candidate has to bring a valid Photo ID proof and printouts of downloaded admit card.
MHT CET 2018 Syllabus
- Syllabus of Class 12: Syllabi of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics for the MHT CET 2018 will be the same as for the current year for Class 12 Examination of Maharashtra HSC Board.
- Syllabus of Class 11: MHT CET 2018 will cover the following topics of Class 11 Level.
