SLIET Seats for Academic Session 2018-19

Admission in BE program at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology will be done on the basis of JEE Main 2018 so the eligibility conditions of JEE Main 2018 will be applicable.

Education Qualification: The candidates who have passed their class 12 exam or any other equivalent qualifying exam in 2016 or 2017 can apply for JEE Main 2018. The candidates who are appearing in class 12 examination or equivalent this year also eligible to apply.  

Age: The candidates who are born on or after 1 October 1993 (1 October 1988 for SC/ ST/ PD candidates) are eligible to apply.

Admission in BE course will be done through JEE Main 2018 score. However, for other courses, there would be SLIET Entrance Test also known as SET. How to Apply for SLIET 2018

• Registration: Candidates needs to register themselves first with a login Id and Password. Candidates must keep their registration number for future use
• Basic details: Candidates must enter their basic details on the application form that is, name, date of birth, address, city, religion, contact number and Email Id very carefully.
• Test Centres: Candidates have the option to choose the 4 test centres in their application form.
• Photograph: Candidates must upload their recent passport size photograph.
• Candidates should also upload their scanned signature and thumb impression.
• Submit: After filling in all the basic and important details in the Application form, candidates need to read them carefully before final submission.

Submission of Application Form

The candidates after filling up the application form need to submit the same in order to complete the application process. The candidates are suggested to examine the form filled by them clearly so that they would be sure that the details filled by them are correct. After successful submission of the application form, the candidates will get an SMS on his/ her mobile for ensuring the registration succession

SLIET Fee Structure of the year 2018-19

• The Admission will be solely done on the basis of JEE Main 2018.
• The shortlisted candidates of JEE Main will be called for counselling which will be conducted by JoSAA.
• For Institute spot admission JoSAA-2018 schedule will be followed.

JoSAA Counselling

• Candidates will have to Register themselves Online for JoSAA 2018 Counselling.
• Information Brochure for JoSAA is expected to be available in the month of May/ June 2018
• Counselling will be done by JoSAA 2018 and last year it was done CSAB.
