About ULSAT
ULSAT 2018 also known as UPES Legal Studies Aptitude Test is a computer-based law entrance exam conducted by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) for admissions to five-year undergraduate law programmes including BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB. Eligible candidates can apply for ULSAT 2018 through the official website of UPES Law by online or offline mode.
UPES - College of Legal Studies also offers admission to the candidates who have secured good marks in Board Merit / CLAT Merit/ L-SAT India Merit. Such students are only required to be part of Group Discussion & Interview.

ULSAT Eligibility criteria
Age Criteria: Only those candidates are eligible to take the admissions whose date of Birth falls on or after 1 October 1996.
Academic Qualification
- For BA LLB (Hons.)/ BBA LLB (Hons.)/ B.Com, LLB (Hons): Candidate should have passed Class 10 & Class 12 or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
Admission into the Integrated Law Programs is done on the basis of CLAT/ LSAT/ Class 12th Board Exam Score
- CLAT: The candidate should have a CLAT ranking up to 5000.
- LSAT India: The score of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from UPES Law Studies Aptitude Test and will be invited directly for GD and Interview
ULSAT Application form and Admit Card
Eligible candidates can get the ULSAT Application Form 2018. The application form is now available on the official website of UPES. ULSAT 2018 Application form can be filled by any of the two modes i.e. online and offline mode given below. The candidates filling offline/online ULSAT 2018 application form can apply by any of the methods according to their ease given below:
Offline Mode: The candidates who are applying for ULSAT 2018 through an offline mode can apply for the application form by the method given below:
- By Cash: Candidates can obtain Admission Form from admission counters at Ahmedabad / Chandigarh/ Cochin / Coimbatore / Delhi / Dehradun / Hyderabad / Kolkata / Mumbai by paying the required application fee, or they can get it from AXIS BANK branches.
Online Mode: The steps to fill an online application form for ULSAT 2018 is given below. Candidates are required to follow the steps to fill the application form.

- Step 1: Candidates need to click on the link Indian Resident or Foreign Resident
- Step 2: Candidates have to sign up to fill the online form
- Step 3: After signing up, the candidates will get the verification link in their registered email id. Candidates need to click on the link.
- Step 4: After verification, the candidates will need to fill the application form and follow the instructions given therein.
- Step 5: Upload Photograph and Signature: Candidates have to upload Photograph and Signature as per the specifications are given below:
- Format:.jpeg,.jpg,.gif formats only
- Max size: 50 KB
- Step 6: Submit the application form and pay the application fee through the following method given below:
- Online mode: Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking
- Demand Draft mode: Demand Draft has to be drawn in favour of "UPES Fee Account", payable at New Delhi / Dehradun
The candidates will be sent their login credentials at least 24 hours before the exam on their registered email ID.
Application Submission
Candidates who are applying for ULSAT 2018 online are advised to keep at least two copy of application form with them for future reference. The candidates are advised to check the duly filled application form before submission as the application form with the incorrect details will not be entertained.
In case of non-availability of Credit / Debit Card, Candidates can submit their online application form through a demand draft in favour of "UPES Fee Account", payable at New Delhi / Dehradun along with a request letter and a printout of application form at:

ULSAT 2018 Admit Card
The ULSAT 2018 Admit Card will be uploaded on the official website of UPES website on the basis of information provided by the applicants in the Application form. Candidates are required to download the admit card accordingly. The students can do the Online Slot Booking in the month of May 2018 by visiting the official website.
The candidates need to affix the duly attested photograph on the admit card in the space provided which have to be shown at the allotted test centre. Candidates without the admit card or card without the photograph will Not be permitted to take the test.

ULSAT Result and Counselling
ULSAT Result 2018 will be announced by UPES tentatively in June 2018. Candidates can check the result of the ULSAT 2018 on the official website of UPES as soon it available on the website.
ULSAT 2018 Selection Process
On the basis of CLAT 2018 Merit/ L-SAT India 2018 Merit/Board merit: Candidates will be invited directly for GD and Interview in case of seeking admission in BA LLB (Hons.)/ BBA LLB (Hons.)/ B.Com, LLB (Hons) whereas in case of seeking admission in B. Tech+ LLB (Hons.) admissions will be offered through Merit Ranking.
ULSAT 2018 Rank List – The rank list of ULSAT 2018 will be the final list considered for admissions to five-year integrated law programmes in UPES College of Legal Studies.
- ULSAT 2018 Rank List will be issued after the GD and PI process is over.
- Based on performance in ULSAT 2018, GD and PI, the final merit/rank list will be issued by UPES.
ULSAT Exam pattern
ULSAT 2018 Question Paper will only be in the English Language. The candidates will get admission on the basis of ULSAT/CLAT 2018 Merit/ L-SAT India 2018 Merit/Board merit. UPES 2018 Scholarships
UPES will provide the scholarship to Candidates- 100% Scholarship on Tuition Fee. Candidates with an aggregate of 85% Marks in class 12 and 90% in PCM in CBSE or ICSE Examination Board passing out in 2018. Such Scholarships will be limited to 5% of seats in each B. Tech. Program.
Scholarships will be allotted after the commencement of the classes in Merit order to eligible candidates. Continuation of Scholarship in the subsequent year will be as per the University policy.
