St John's Medical College MBBS Admission 2018 - St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences offers admission to its M.B.B.S. Degree for the session 2018-19. The Admission to MBBS course will be based on NEET UG scores. Earlier there was Entrance Test for the admission but now onwards admission to MBBS will be based on NEET scores as per the order of the honourable Supreme Court of India. The Application will open shortly for Fresh applicants who will be qualifying NEET exam and are willing to take admission at St.Johns Medical College.
St. John’s Medical College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and is recognised by the Medical Council of India. St John's Medical College Bangalore offers a course leading to the M.B.B.S. Degree of the Rajiv Gandhi University.
- Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will upload the specific categories of seat matrix offered by St. John’s Medical College tentatively in the third week of July 2018.
- As per the Government of India policy, Counselling for admission to MBBS course for the academic year 2018-19 to St. John’s Medical College will be done by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

St John's Medical College MBBS Eligibility criteria
Age Criteria: Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31 December 2018.
Academic Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 examination or its equivalent examination/two-year Pre-University examination conducted by Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects.
OR
- Candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination in Science of an Indian University / Board / Council or other recognised examining bodies with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects.
- Candidate shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually
OR
- Candidates must have passed the first year of the three-year degree course of a recognised University provided the examination is a ‘University Examination’ with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology including a practical test in these subjects excluding English.
- Candidate should have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually.
OR
- Candidates should have passed B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University with not less than two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology).
- It is also provided that candidates must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually in the qualifying examination.
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC/Category I).
- SC/ST candidates of outside Karnataka are not entitled to the relaxation in the minimum percentage required for admission.
- In case of admission on the basis of competitive entrance examination, candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% and also passed individually in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC/Category I).
- Candidates must also secure a rank in the merit list prepared as a result of competitive entrance examination.
Non-eligible Candidates:
Candidates who have passed “Physical Science” instead of Physics and Chemistry as two separate subjects are not eligible for admission to MBBS course as per Medical Council of India Regulations. Moreover, candidates application will be rejected in any of the following cases:
- A candidate who have made more than two attempts to pass the 2-year Pre-University course (PUC) or Equivalent Examination.
- Candidates who have not passed in English and obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in 2 years PUC or Equivalent Examination (For SC & ST of Karnataka State only 40%).
- Religious sisters who have not completed one year of community life after their first Profession, i.e., as on the day of commencement of class.

As per the notification of UGC, the NEET scores is mandatory for admission to MBBS/BDS course in any government and private medical colleges in India. Therefore, to appear in NEET exam, the candidates need to fill NEET Application Form.

Candidates have to apply ONLINE for St. John’s MBBS 2018. Candidates have to pay the Application Fee of Rs. 2000 online through Debit or Credit Card (Transaction Charges extra as applicable) or through Net Banking.

Candidates do not have to PRINT and send any applications forms by Post or Courier. Any such applications forms received by Post or Courier will not be accepted. Candidates have to submit the application form in online mode only. Candidates are required to fill and submit the online application form on or before the due date, Any applications received after the due date will be rejected in all cases.
