About Symbiosis Law School

Symbiosis Entrance Test for Law is conducted in order to give admission to eligible candidates in the following institutes affiliated to Symbiosis International University. Applicants need to apply for the SET Test and then apply separately to the colleges they wish to apply for by paying the admission fee of Rs 1000.

Symbiosis Law School BA/BBA LLB Total Seats

Age of the Candidate

Candidate aspiring admission to the Symbiosis Law School undergraduate Programmes should be less than 20 years of age at the time of appearing for the SET as on 5 May 2018.

• 2 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates i.e. they should not be more than 22 years of age on the specified date.

Academic Qualification

• Candidate must have passed Class 12 (10+2) examination from any government recognized board in one attempt only (No Compartment / Supplementary).
• Candidates appearing for their H.S.C finals and are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate by the notified date.
• Candidates who have obtained 10+2 through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible for the professional Law Courses.
• Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks and 40% marks in case of SC and ST category.

Qualifying Exam: The admission of the candidates will be done on the basis of Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET).

The Symbiosis Law School (SLS) offers admission in BA LLB and BBA LLB on the basis of SLAT. SLAT Application process for the admission in Symbiosis Law School for BA LLB and BB.A. LL.B has now started. The candidates seeking admission in Symbiosis Law School (SLS) can fill the SET application form online only. 

In addition to SLAT registration, candidates have to fill up an online application form for Symbiosis Law school as well. This is a mandatory condition, without this, candidates will not be considered for short-listing for Personal Interview and Written Ability Test.

SLAT Admit Card 2018

SLAT Admit Card 2018 was available for download from 21 April 2018 onwards. SET Admit Card was available on the official website only for those eligible candidates who had submitted their duly filled application forms before the due date. Candidates need to know that no admit card was dispatched through the post to the candidates, so no correspondence in this regard would be considered.

Candidates must bring the admit card and a photo identity proof to the test centre. It will be authenticated during the Test. Candidates shall preserve the authenticated admit card till the admission processes of the desired Symbiosis institutes are over. If the admit card is lost, no duplicate admit card will be issued.

The Admission fee for the Symbiosis Law School is to be paid by the candidates as the institution selection fee, After the SET test applicants have to pay Rs 1000 Per Institute they wish to seek admission in on the basis of their SET Scores. Applicants have to pay this fee

SET Result 2018 has been declared on 14 May 2018. SET Result 2018 has been announced by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for the entrance exam for all the courses on All India basis. • Candidates will be shortlisted for the PI-WAT on the basis of the SET score.The shortlisted candidates for Noida, Pune, and Hyderabad will be invited for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) as per the schedule mentioned below.
• Final Merit list shall be drawn on the basis of SET Score (50%) and PI-WAT performance (50%).

Symbiosis Law School Selection Process

Once the result gets declared, the shortlisted candidates will be called for PI-WAT. The selection of the candidates for Symbiosis Institute of Design for B.Design Programme will be done on the basis of SET score. 

The shortlisted candidates will be further selected for PI-WAT. The selection process for SID B.Design programme is given below The PI-WAT dates are also given below. Candidates are advised to check all the relevant dates.
