About Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women
IGDTUW admission 2018, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women admission to B. Tech & B.Arch Programme for the academic session 2018-19 will be open on or after 15 June 2018 and it will be based on JEE Main score, Class 12 Marks. The admission will be done through JAC Delhi Counselling. IGDTUW 2018 notification will be announced in the month of June 2018.
Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University (IGIT) has been upgraded to Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women since May 2013. IGIT was established in 1998 by Directorate of Training and Technical Education, Govt of N.C.T of Delhi as the first engineering college for women only. From 2002- 2013, the college remained the first and only constituent college of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
IGDTUW Application Form will be available from soon. Candidates will have to fill the Online Application form via JAC Delhi Portal. The details about the IFDTUW application form is given below in the application process and submission section.

Undergraduate Course offered at IGDTUW
IGDTUW offers undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses. The undergraduate courses available at IGDTUW Admission 2018 include:
- B.Tech

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women Eligibility criteria
Age Limit: Candidate must be 17 years of age and maximum 25 years of age on or before 1 October 2018.
Academic Qualifications:
- Candidates must have passed English as a subject of study at the senior school certificate examination level (core or elective).
- Candidates who have been placed in the compartment are not eligible for admission for the year 2018-19.
- IGDTUW offer admission to the female candidates only on the basis of JEE Main 2018 All India Rank prepared by giving 40% weightage to Class 12 Board Exams or other qualifying examination marks and 60% to the score obtained in JEE Main 2018.
For Delhi Region Candidates:
- Candidates should have passed any of the following examinations from a recognised School/College/Institute located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi only
- Candidates must have secured 60 % or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have passed English as a subject of study in Class 12. (5% relaxation in case of OBC, CW, SC/ST and PD)
- Candidates will be eligible for admission to the first semester of Bachelor of Technology Course if they have passed in each subject separately.
For Outside Delhi Region Candidates
- Candidates should have passed any of the below-mentioned examinations from a recognised School/College/Institute located outside the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
- Candidates should have secured 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have passed English as a subject of study in Class 12.
- Candidates will be eligible for admission to the first semester of Bachelor of Technology Course if they have passed in each subject separately.
List of Examinations considered as Qualifying Examination for IGDTUW
- Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi
- Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
- Bachelor of Science (General) or Bachelor of Science (Hons.) examination of a recognised university with a combination of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with the minimum aggregate of 60% marks
- Any other examination recognised as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E.

The application process for the IGDTUW admission has not been started yet. The application process will open on or after 15 June 2018. Candidates are required to fill a single online application form for admission to DTU, IGDTUW, IIITD & NSIT for admission to B.Tech Programmes. The two of the modes are described below. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women Fees
Candidates have to pay the Application cum Registration Fee of Rs 1,100. The candidates have to fill a common application form for IIIT Delhi, NSIT, IGDTUW and DTU. The IGDTUW annual fee structure which includes tuition fee, student welfare and security deposits which are given in the table below.

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women Result and Counselling
Joint Admission Counselling is conducted by JAC Delhi to offer admission in 21 Engineering Branches in 03 pioneering Technical Universities/Institutes viz. Delhi Technological University(DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) and Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT D).
Candidates will be selected on the basis of total marks obtained in JEE Main 2018 (AND) and Class 12 exam (60% & 40% weightage respectively).
- A normalised score in Class 12 as provided by JEE.
- Admissions for foreign nationals/PIOs/NRIs will be through DASA 2018
Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women Exam pattern
The admission of Indian Nationals will be done on the basis of JEE Main and Class 12 exam and the admission of Foreign Nationals/ /PIOs/ NRIs will be done on the basis of DASA. The exam pattern for both the qualifying exam is given below.
- JEE Main: JEE Main is conducted for the admission in undergraduate engineering programmes. The candidates can see the exam pattern of the JEE Main by following the link below.
- DASA: DASA 2018 is an admission process for those Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) who wants to seek admission in undergraduate engineering, architecture and other programmes.
Reservation of Seats
- 85% of the total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Delhi Region. (Students passing Class 12 examination from recognised Board/College/Institution located within the NCT of Delhi)
- 15% of the total seats for candidates belonging to outside Delhi Region
